So turns out I've lost basically all the original files for every single thing I drew before June 2020 🙃🙃🙃

(Bc that's when I switched from medibang to clip studio, and used the cloud feature on medibang religiously. You can now only access your cloud files after a certain point if you pay their subscription, which is bullshit but it couldn't stay completely free forever ig)

Now, how did I discover this, you might ask? Well obviously I needed to open up an old drawing of mine

trying to design characters is like i know exactly what they look like. no actually i dont know at all. this is exactly how they look in my head but is simply Wrong. this colour would go really well here but doesnt match their vibe at all. you draw their face Just Right one time, and then never again. a month later you look back on their 'final' design and decide that its completely wrong and start all over again
