I've learned the hard way that if I ever have to choose between something and Allah, I should always strive to choose Allah. Because whatever I put above Him, will eventually leave me or hurt me.

In these blessed days and nights of Ramadan, Allah calls us back to Himself and His mercy by reminding us that not only does He forgive, He loves to forgive.

"Allahumma innaka affuwun, tuhibbul afwa fa'fu anni".

No sinner, no wrongdoer, no believer who has fallen or strayed or slept on themselves the rest of the year, should lose hope–even for a second–in the mercy of a Lord who loves to forgive those who come back to Him.

Literally crying🤲🏼 this was a beautiful and much needed reminder

Ever since early childhood, the verses of Surah Ikhlas "Qul hu Allahu Ahad, Allahu Samad" rolled off our tongues like a little rhyme. But as we got older, the deeper meaning of the teeny tiny verse "And there is none like Him" [112:4] grew into our hearts. And as we go through the trials of life we realise- when we are alone, there is no one who accompanies us like Allah does. When we are worried, there is no one who takes care of our affairs like Allah does. When we are broken, there is no one who mends us like Allah does. When we are hopeless, no one becomes our hope like Allah does. When we beg Him, there is no one who responds to us like Allah does. When we are afraid of the future, there is no one who relieves us like Allah does. When we are needy, there is no one who provides like Allah does. And when we sin, there is no one who forgives like Allah does.🥹❤️‍🩹
