Amazing.
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!
This blog mainly dealt with my coming out story, and I hardly ever mentioned my journey into Sikhi. As per the request of many of you guys, here’s my story:
I was born into the typical “Sikh” family that was pretty much the extent of our Sikhi (minus...

The fact that you perceive my criticisms as a sign of me being offended is quite an interesting view, and you did entitle that post as dumb shit so ya know i think you are being quite on the elitist side. just because you dont blog certain things it doesnt make it shit ya know ? jeremy bentham pushpin is equal to poetry and all that ?
Do you understand what the word elitist means? I'm referring to posts as shit, which is my opinion. I'm not referring to the people posting them as idiots, so that doesn't make me judgemental lol. As for me or my opinion being egocentric. I haven't once said anything that would even come close to what an egocentric person would say. Did I say my opinion was better? No. Did I say my posts were better? No. Did I say my posts are what matter or compare them in any way to the dumb posts? No. The only comparing which was done was in order to answer your question. Your question asked for my opinion not for what the right answer was. Did I say all quotes were stupid? No. Anyways your argument has went from asking whether my rant is as ineffective as the dumb posts to criticizing my opinion. Clearly you don't have a viewpoint to stick to. I haven't generalized about a specific type of post but I have provided examples of two or three posts which in my opinion are dumb. I haven't once said my opinion is right, rather I have been defending it while you have criticized it. I am in no way trying to sway you or anyone else. As you can recall you asked and I answered, so there goes that argument. You don't see me messaging or leaving comments for people who post what I think is dumb, that would make me an egocentric bigot.

It is your opinion, but you're treating it as a truth and judgin others. just because you don't see meaning or value in something doesn't make it meaningless or of no value. Like i dont see why you have to be the mindful elite just because you think your posts are way more important and valuable than others?
First off I rarely post, that should show how much I truly care about posting on tumblr. Taking that into consideration I don't see my posts as any better than other posts. I never once called someone stupid or judged anyone? Calling a post dumb doesn't make me judgemental. It sure doesn't mean I'm judging people lol. My posts are all random stuff I see and random stuff I say I have no elitist agenda that I'm trying to push. You seem offended by my opinion. Even though I havent made a single judgemental remark you're calling my opinion egocentric and judgemental. "People who post stupid stuff on tumblr are all stupid".. That would be being judgemental or judging someone, which you're doing a great job of by judging me.

but people might just enjoy those quotes, like also just because you dont see any use in them doesn't mean that they have no use.. thats quite egocentric
I don't see what the point of some random quote that make no sense is. Egocentric? No not really, it's an opinion.

but couldnt someone just argue that while millions of people are suffering you're too busy ranting about a social media site ?? like i dont see how that post is any better than any other ??
My rant might make someone think. It might change someone's view on the whole situation. It MIGHT make someone think about the millions, adding one more to the cause. A peice of paper with the words "I hate you" scribbled on it won't change anything lol. If I can activate even one then I've done my job. Awareness results in resolution but a stupid quote results in mindless drone reblogs. Point being half the people don't even think before hitting reblog.

Dumb shit.
Can someone tell me why some of the stupidest blog posts get over 100,000 notes? Like the shit some of these "quotes" say is made of everyday conversation? It's messed up that millions of people are suffering right now as I post this but people are too busy liking and rebloging "I loved him, he didn't love me" or vice versa. Seriously why are we in this shit hole?

Your opinion about Khushwant Singh was nothing but close minded opinion, no offence but he was lot better then Sikhs now days who have become cowards, clean shaven sheep. He was fearless human being, who never afraid of Bhindrawale, and thats how every 'guru ka singh' be(Never afraid of anyone except guru). He was pure soul, who bring mirror in front of that time(When Sikhs were acting like clowns, being a puppet of hindutva) & he always defend sabat saroop of sikhi.
Yea he defended sabat saroop of Sikhi by being an alcoholic. He defended sabat saroop of Sikhi by posing with liquor in his hands. Khushwant Singh on many occasions denounced the existence of Akal Purakh, that's very Sikh like. Not afraid? After Sukjinder Singh Jinda and Sukhdev Singh Sukha released their hit list and his name appeared on it, Khushwant Singh changed the way he wrote. Why did he fear Jinda Sukha? Khushwant Singh mocked Sikhs and wrote against Gurmat. He portrayed Guru Tegh Bahadur as someone who stole from the poor. How was Khushwant Singh an amazing person? He had extra marital affairs and was in an open relationship with his wife. When asked what he regretted the most, Khushwant Singh answered by saying he regretted not having sex with the numerous women he could have slept with. Keep in mind he was well into his 80s at this point. I urge you to do research before you call me or anyone else close minded. Lastly, this is meant for questions. If you have an opinion feel free to post it out in the open. Get your facts together, Khushwant Singh was an agnostic, not a Sikh.

Khushwant Singh's death.
For a day now I've seen Sikhs posting pictures of him and celebrating his life. I tried to control myself but what I am saying has to be said. This man was no diamond for the Sikh Panth and its ridiculous that Sikhs are paying homage to such a bigot.
Khushwant Singh was an alcoholic and a tharkee banda. Khushwant Singhs father was responsible for the execution of Bhagat Singh. Khushwant Singh opposed Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala and after his death called him a “tiger” who “fought fearlessly”… Lets not forget how Khushwant Singh mangled Sikh history in his books. This man was nothing but a puppet designed to control some Sikhs. Khushwant Singh at first gave back his award in protest of Operation Bluestar but in 2007 when the limelight was gone he took it back. When will our Panth weed out these flippy floppy Sikhs? Of course 3HO run SikhNet is going to post an article about this but is SikhNet even the voice of Sikhs? SikhNet and 3HO both share links to the Indian government. Don’t be led to believe bullshit people, make yourr own decisions. This man was nothing but a cancer to the Panth.
It was Khushwant Singh who wrote these Santa Banta jokes that inspired bollywood to turn us into clowns. Coward, rat, chuha, buzdil, and idiot are some of the words Khushwant Singh used to describe Sant Jarnail Singh. Later he changed his tune. According to Khushwant Singh, Guru Tegh Bahadur extorted people who were low caste and in other books he defamed Bhai Jaita Ji.
This is the man you Sikhs are paying homage to? Shameful/

Not getting your hair removed and no make up is natural beauty. Sorry to break it to those who think No make up is just natural beauty.
And another thing… I don’t get why people hate on girls with boob jobs and other types of plastic surgery. It’s not any different then removing your hair....

Would you marry a singhnee that has kes on her face?
lol of course. If I love the girl I’d marry her even if she had a tree growing out of her :P
…but you are merely talking about hair. Silky, natural, beautiful hair.
It takes a strong woman to put aside society’s opinions and go natural. The very notion of hair being accepted on a man but not a woman baffles me… and not just that, people have gone one step further and scrutinised hair according to body parts. I mean, hair is acceptable on a woman’s head and eyebrows but anywhere else there’s something wrong with her?! Loool where’s the logic in that? Hellllll noo… There’s something wrong with your thinking man. We need to listen to the media less. The same media that makes us hate our true selves… we just need to try listening to common sense more…
To me, a woman is always attractive if she has the fiery courage to be herself. To be wholesomely honest with the world and herself… not needing to wear or hide behind a mask, walking life as the naked truth. I see a woman like that and I just think wow… I see a phoenix, all aflame and raw. I like that.
You see some people may hate others for being different and not living by society’s standards, but deep down, they wish they had the courage to do the same.
lol we’re going off topic here.
Hope that answered your question buddy.
Peace!
