his greatest strength and weakness is that he chooses to be kind and protect life despite everything he's been through (this is. notably a shared trait amongst a number of my favorite characters tbh)

it does kind of resonate with me on a personal level so it's...inspiring in a way, I guess? to be put through so much misery and yet retain your compassion instead of lashing out. although my take on it is to make others smile whenever possible, which is one of the main reasons why I love drawing
