After 10 years, Attack on Titan has come to its end. I never make art to celebrate the end of something, but this scene between Jean and Connie got stuck to my brain and I had to give it a try.

Time for a good old counter-attack!

First art of the year! Finally managed to finish this one ✨️

Pela is probably my favorite girl and I keep using her in almost every team, so here's something of her finally ✨️

It's NOT a New Years resolution. We've talked about this.

But since I am starting a new planner, I have blocked off a little section for three things: Consume, Create, Maintain. And each day, I want to have at least one thing in each box.

Consume can be: Watch movie. Scroll social media. Look at pretty art. Play video game. Read book. Listen to music. Listen to podcast. Drink a latte. Have a candy. Brew some of the fancy tea. Etc.

Create can be: Draw, paint, doodle. Crochet. Write a long blog post. Write in my journal. Put stickers in my journal. Work on a jigsaw puzzle. Make some food that involves more than opening a box. Have an in-depth chat about our D&D characters with friend. Arrange trinkets on a shelf to be aesthetically pleasing. Create a playlist. Etc.

Maintain can be: Text friend and ask what's new. Write a letter to grandma. Call sister. Dust off the bookshelf. Put away that half finished craft project. Brush the cat, or clip his nails. Change the sheets. Go grocery shopping. Use a sheet mask. Use that leave-in conditioner. Throw out that dried-up nail polish. Etc.

Because y'all know that otherwise my ADHD ass will pick ONE of those categories and do it ALL DAY until I collapse.

A new character I designed for myself recently, called Zanna (Zuzanna)!

I decided to dive into my own heritage once again with this character. Her outfit is based on Polish folk fashions - mainly south-eastern ones, but not one in particular - and the weapon she wields is a weapon known as a bardiche, a type of a pole-axe which was used in middle ages in Europe, including Poland. She's a follower of an old slavic pagan god, Dazhbog (domains of wealth, fire, water & prosperity, among others).

i hate to say it but. the healthy eating people are kinda onto something. if you can figure out a way to get all your greens and proteins and fiber in ways that taste good to you you start to prefer the healthy option over junk food 7/10 times

no but really, like 

i know that some folks love telling creative people that “you should be doing it for fun because you love it not for the compliments” but creative people thrive on feedback whether it’s critical or just complimentary

so when i write fanfiction and don’t get any actual feedback i feel like i spent all that time and energy doing it for nothing because i’m not getting feedback from the people i wrote it for 

doing something you’re proud of and then presenting it to the sound of utter silence is like the worst feeling on earth 

#starting to stream feels like this #sometimes it's just like talking to nothing and drawing for no one #it's not easy
