The January snow of #swva 2024.

I had spent the better part of the day traveling along the ridges of High Knob above the City of Norton, Virginia on this 8° day. I thought I had seen all the beauty that I had been allowed for the day. Suddenly coming out of the shadows from left to right around sunset, on the road that forks over the mountain to Big Cherry Lake I was truly blessed with this view thru the trees. In person it was much more than anything from up there I had ever seen. I know its times like these that we are given to strengthen our beliefs & spirits!
