It is with great sadness that we are announcing that Kingsboro is officially closing as of May 22, 2021, meaning that the last day of play will be on May 21, 2021. This roleplay has been open for a year and we have so many amazing memories here with you all and all of the players who have come and go in the past. We originally made this space when an old group of ours closed down because we wanted to continue writing with each other and we wanted to create a safe space where we could just write and spend time with each other. Even through all of the ups and downs, we know that it is definitely safe to say that we have accomplished that here at Kingsboro. Because of this though, the admin team never really knew that admining such a large group would take a toll on ourselves in ways that we were not fully prepared for. We didn't know how exhausting this would be. Unfortunately, admining a big group is not something that the admin team wants to or can do anymore which is why we have decided to close our doors.

We have loved our time here at Kingsboro - and we have especially loved getting to create friendships with many of the members who have came and went here. This group has been a big accomplishment for the admin team, and we are all proud of what we have created here. We have worked VERY hard behind the scenes to create what you have seen throughout this past year, and this has honestly been felt like a second job at times. But. It was a second job that we loved and have been passionate about over the past 13 months. No job is forever though and it is time for us to move on. 

The six of us, as an admin team, are proud and grateful for each other and what we have accomplished through the disagreements, personal and familial struggles, and some really hard decisions that we have had to make in the past for to betterment of the group. We would like to thank all of you whether you have been here for 10 months or a few weeks for sharing your well-developed characters, incredible stories, funny inside jokes and beautiful lives with us over the past year. We have been grateful to meet and learn about each and every one of you. This is a bittersweet moment for us, but we are ready to move on just like we hope that all of you are too.

Hi! I'm new to discord rp, but very interested in this one (don't worry, I am a fast learner)! I am just curious about the setup for the server. Are there channels for everyone to interact, and then you make your own for 1 on 1 interactions?

Hi! To be honest, I’m not quite sure what the best way to describe the server is. We have ooc channels, and a channel where everyone can interact like a big group chat. We have social media channels, and a channel for people to make starter calls which is where most of your 1x1 interactions and interactions in general are probably going to come from.
