I agree completely. Size does not matter. I mean. The prostate is only a couple inches in the average size person can stimulate that no problem.

I will say "proportionate to his size" is verrrry up in the air. There's like a bunch of studies out there looking for correlations that predict size.... Height appears to be the most consistent correlation. Yes okay Wu's shorter than Mako but not by much! There's studies looking at finger sizes and ethnicity and other body part sizes... Height seems to be the best predictor.

I mentioned the nose size study in the other 🍆 ask but I actually read the whole study and I'm meh about it. The actual correlation was like. Not very drastic. And It was in South Korea so presumably only included east asians, but didn't control for like any other variables. Average nose size and shape varies depending on race and ethnicity so I don't think this study can be necessarily applied to south asians (like Wu) unless someone can replicate the findings with a different sample size and control for other demographics...

I'm sorry I'm not super research literate but I know the basics and y'all got me googling I found the subject fascinating 🤣 unfortunately now the algorithm probably thinks I want to increase my 🍆 size or something lmao so thanks for the ads I'm gonna start getting. The things I do for Wuko....

I will say: The 'vibes' are a little different from Secret, but I hope you'll give it a chance as I put Mako and Wu through the wringer!!! I have the first chapter nearly complete, just needs refined and edited. Here's a little taste:

It was lonely before dawn. Granted, loneliness was something Mako had become generally accustomed to. Everyone was so busy. His brother was working longer hours. Asami was running a company operating on a shoestring budget. Korra traveled often. Wu lived in Ba Sing Se and barely came around twice a month, if that. Still, at least during the daytime, he could feel the sun through his chi. It didn't stave off the loneliness, exactly. But it gave his body and mind something to connect with. He felt a little indignant about working the early shift. He was a firebender, damnit. He was meant to rise with the sun. Arriving at work an hour and a half before daybreak was fundamentally opposed to his nature.  He sighed as he entered the station, feeling bleary eyed. He just needed a few minutes and maybe a couple of really strong cups of black tea.

I haven't given this much thought! Let's play with the idea.

So in this canon divergence, Wu gets brainwashed first and Mako has to try and rescue him? And they are already in a relationship? So we are kind of portraying Wuko dealing with the same thing Korrasami had to deal with in canon.

I'm trying to figure out if I like the idea that Wu alone is brainwashed (along with his army guards and the citizens of Gaoling) but the rest of the Krew manage to escape; OR if I like the idea that Mako escapes but Wu, Asami and Bolin are still brainwashed as in canon.

Regardless OOOF. Obviously we saw how that affected Korra, to see Asami like that. I feel like with Wuko, there's an added layer of 'I should have protected him' that Mako would go through. Asami is tough and can defend herself for the most part, so Korra wouldn't necessarily have those kinds of feelings. But Wu cannot defend himself, Mako KNOWS he has to protect him. Imagine Mako feeling like he failed. Flashing back to when Kuvira's people managed to capture him. The GUILT. The angst.

and then. Oh my god. Wu is always like, Mako's biggest fan. He's always hanging off of him, hugging, calling him his 'big tough guy'. How horrifying and jarring would it be for Mako to have Wu be cruel to him. Like. Imagine the scene where Korra goes to reach for Asami's hand and Asami snatches it away and snaps "Don't touch me" CAN YOU IMAGINE if brainwashed Wu said that to Mako???

very interesting idea to play around with. Might make for a fun oneshot au...
