Reblog and put in the tags how often you “clean” your tumblr account, deleting old posts.

What's wrong with the webtoon long strip format?
It's fucking dogshit, it's uncomfortable and unreadable, hostile for both readers and artists, does a disservice to the art because the long canvas is designed to be scrollable rather than at the service of artists themselves to use panels as they want (the creators of the webtoon openly state that the intention of the format is for people to read as fast as possible so they'll read other comics in their site). That's what's wrong with it

chivalry is dead. all i want is a man to waltz into my office with a cherub smile and a fox's teeth, help me solve the case of an ancient death mask, kiss me and steal the keys to my safe out my pocket so that I can arrest him, only for him to get away and leave me with a note signed using his real name

one of the most important things i’ve learned in therapy is that when you’ve experienced prolonged trauma in your childhood, pleasure feels uncomfortable. like, not that you don’t feel it, but that when you do feel it there’s an impulse to make it stop, because it’s extremely unfamiliar. and pleasure can mean many things, as simple as feeling cozy, and as complex as feeling loved. the neural pathways for feeling good have not had a chance to develop, and the neural pathways for feeling bad are quite practiced. feeling good, too, takes conscious practice.

one of the most important things, perhaps the most important thing I have learned in my life is that nice people can fuck each other up in monstrous ways. people can be bone deep kind and loving and self reflective and still lash out under pressure. people can be earnestly neighbourly and charitable and hospitable and generous and still find themselves in situations where they become selfish. people can be well meaning and easygoing and gregarious and hold deep seated opinions that turn them into vicious little bullies under the right conditions. nobody is just one thing, and nobody stays one way. every person is a kaleidoscope and they will surprise you. you will surprise yourself. it's not a warning and it's not a judgement and it's not an excuse, and it's certainly not a reason to stop trying or to stop trusting. it is just a fact.

Say you break your ankle. You could know everything there is to know intellectually about the injury. Even with this vast knowledge, you will still experience physical pain.
Now take this logic and apply it to things like ADHD, autism, clinical depression, and other less visible/divergent disabilities. You cannot think your way out of feeling.
That is to say: you are not a bad, lazy, or selfish person for struggling, even if you know why you are struggling.
