this will forever bother me and I know the fandom will always be divided by this - when it comes to the ending of CF, I don’t understand why Byleth still gets to live even after the crest stone disappears from their heart.

the crest stone against their heart acted as a life support for Byleth to continue living on. Sitri decided to give up the life she had for her baby to live on and Rhea honored that wish. It was the selfless act of a mother’s love for their child to have a chance in life. so when the crest stone inside of Byleth’s heart disappeared, it puzzles me how they can continue to live on without that life support. yeah I get that it was Byleth ‘falling from enlightenment’ to put it simply, but I find that to be not as impactful if Byleth were to actually die.

I know three houses can sometimes show that decisions/behaviors can have consequences but it doesn’t show enough of that, and I know it is kind of ‘not a thing’ for a main playable character to die at any point, but goddamnit it would have been such a tragedy-driven conclusion to a route in the game.

After having a few days of coming to terms that the leaks we saw back then were actually real and fire emblem engage is going to come out soon I think as a fandom we should apologize to Shez for saying they had the worse main protagonist design because holy mackerel what was the character design team thinking when creating Alear.

just wanna say that the ending of Azure Moon has to be the most impactful and emotional ending in all of three houses. there is just something about the ending to AM that makes me cry every time I watch it. The lighting, the lack of dialogue, Dimitri’s facial expressions being hidden by his hair, Byleth taking his hand to prevent him from going back. It is a satisfying ending to Dimitri’s story, but at the same time you can’t help but feel your heart ache a little bit. but overall, it is an excellent way to end an intense and emotional character journey of a individual who went through so much in his life and probably never thought he would ever be able to achieve happiness by his friend’s side.

I once had a dream where Dimitri was a theater-kid and it was the most amazing thing ever. Can we all take a moment and imagine how cool that would be? Imagine in a modern setting and Garreg Mach was like any other modern school, and there are different clubs. You would think Dimitri would be part of the horseback riding club or fencing club or something. NO KEKW. He would be part of the goddamn theater club and he would be incredible at it. He would be very passionate in his role. I know he says in-game he isn’t all that good with facial expressions but let me tell you he would prove himself wrong. People be throwing flowers at him after the performance. Imagine Dimitri playing as the role of Hamlet NOW THAT- THAT IS SOME GOOD FOOD RIGHT HERE.

when people refer to Ingrid, Sylvain, Felix, and Dimitri as the Ferghus Four I can’t help but think it is some kind of band name they would have as they would be a local rock band in Fareghus. IMAGINE A BAND AU OF THOSE FOUR IM?????

Ingrid -> keyboardist

Sylvain -> bass guitarist

Felix -> electric guitarist

Dimitri -> drummer

And they have this thing where whoever writes the song they are the lead singer so there isn’t a primary lead singer in the group so it makes their songs a lot more unique and personal. And the four have their own preference to a genre of music so the group performs from sad songs to pop songs to rock and roll songs.

whenever I think about Crimson Flower, the thing that kind of bothers me in terms of its writing is ->

there is a lack of conflict and questioning in the route. And what I mean by that is the characters don’t argue with Edelgard. About anything she does. Yeah yeah I know Hubert is supposed to be that super-loyal servant to say yes to everything she does and agree with all the decisions she makes. But I can’t stop thinking about how he does things behind her back. The bribes. The killings. He doesn’t talk about any of that to her. It makes me think that even he doesn’t really trust her with what she is doing. Which makes me think of the what-if during Crimson Flower there came a point that Hubert would confront Edelgard about her decisions. And the other characters too. Why does no one question anything? Why does no one go ‘is this really a good idea?’ I understand the purpose of this route is the conquering route and everyone agrees with Emperor, it just kind of stinks there isn’t any real drama or conflict between the Black Eagles. Do I like Edelgard playing the Emperor role? Absolutely. Do I hate that other characters just don’t say anything and show that they can sometimes disagree with her? Yeah I do.

because I am such a huge jojo fan and obsessed with fe3h I like to think of the kind of stands everyone would have but since that would be way too long for one post I’m just gonna ramble on what kind of stands the four house leaders would have. And now that we got 3Hopes and mostly everyone got an element they are associated with it makes thinking of their stands so much more interesting. But these stands as I would describe them would try to fit in a fire emblem universe because IF ONLY we got a fire emblem game the characters have stands (obviously not stands but you know something similar) that they can use during battle but only can use for a limited number of times and OK I AM GETTING AHEAD OF MYSELF MOVING ON-

Edelgard: definitely a eagle stand. She gotta have a badass-looking eagle like Pet Shop. The color of the eagle is dark crimson because her 3Houses timeskip outfit is a bright red and- yeah no we making her eagle a dark red thank you. But since Edelgard is associated with the fire element, her powers would be similar to Magician’s Red. Her stand can manipulate fire, create fire. She can’t get burnt. She can make the fire as hot as she wants. She has a pretty good strength stat so her eagle stand can carry almost anything and has a mighty beak that can tear anything. While Edelgard does have fire powers, it is mostly her strength that shines the most. Her eagle stand can have wings made out of iron and can cut through anything like how her main weapon is the axe. As another power she can just summon the iron wings on her back and fly anywhere.

Dimitri: absolutely a lion stand. A golden-furred lion with bright blue eyes and very sharp teeth with some dark blue highlights in its mane. Like how Fugo can’t really control his stand Purple Haze, Dimitri has a hard time controlling his lion stand. Sometimes when he can’t control his anger, his lion stand would pounce out of him and attack anyone with no hesitation. As for powers, since his element is lightening, he would be able to control electricity. Not to the extent of Red Hot Chili Peppers, but he would be able to summon lightening from the sky and surround himself with electricity like a shield and electrocute anyone who attacks the stand. Since his strength is absolutely ridiculously amazing, his stand is extremely strong as in Dimitri’s stand would be able to chew through tough metal and destroy boulders. He is able to ride his stand.

Claude: DEER STAND DEER STAND- Ok so Claude would have a GORGEOUS deer stand with pretty light brown-colored fur with white dots scattered around the thighs and really huge antlers and it’s eyes don’t have pupils instead it glows the same hue like a star. Since his element is wind, he is able to control the wind. Just like how Catch the Rainbow can walk on raindrops, Claude is able to walk on wind by creating little wind platforms that he can walk on. The antlers on his stand can act as a bow and arrow. With an arrow bag around the leg of the deer, he can use the huge antlers on his stand and shoot hundreds of arrows at once that can rain down on a group of enemies. He can also ride his antler stand and the stand can walk on wind as well, looking like they are running through the sky at top speed. Based off of Claude’s crest, he can heal himself, but that is the extent, don’t wanna copy Crazy Diamond adfgjkl.

Yuri: the most fabulous-looking wolf stand you ever seen. The wolf is a pretty slate-gray color with purple eyes and some makeup around the eyes because remember this is a fabulous-looking stand. The wolf is average-size, but that’s a good thing because it’s agility is crazy. The wolf is able to dodge anything quickly and swiftly while also getting in a bite. Yuri isn’t associated with a specific element, so like his trickster class, this wolf stand will be able to use white magic. But offensive white magic only. So like how Killer Queen can create bombs of destruction, the wolf stand is able to create bombs of white magic that can destroy a certain area but carefully not destroy an entire area. Very accurate kind of stand. It can also create white magic that can temporarily blind enemies and Yuri is able to sneak through anything without getting detected. The teeth on the wolf can turn into daggers that Yuri can take out and be able to use as a weapon of his own. And the tooth that was missing immediately grows back. Sort of like Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheep but minus the dimension shenanigans, Yuri is able to create copies of himself as another way to deceive others, and his wolf stand is able to create copies of itself to do some extra damage.

while I love three houses with all my heart and will never shut up about it, one of the things that kind of bothers me is that the game shows little crumbs of Dimitri and Claude interactions and have very minimal interactions with each other during the timeskip and like- CAN YOU IMAGINE THE MANY MORE INTERACTIONS THEY COULD HAVE HAD?? THEIR FRIENDSHIP DEEPENING?? THEIR SUPPORT CONVERSATIONS??? AN ENDING TOGETHER????
