Sokka is a better fighter than Katara. Sokka is a skilled swordsman, navigator (after the first season), and leader. Many people call him sexist which he was, but he changed after a few episodes. He’s mainly used for comic relief but that’s not his greatest attribute, and doesn’t let that define him.

I think that Princess Yue would’ve been the next avatar if Aang’s time hadn’t halted. She’s from the Water Tribe so she would’ve been the Water Tribe avatar. Another reason why I think this is because Yue and Korra would be related because Yuen’s father was chief of the Northern Water Tribe and Korra’s uncle Unlaq was also the chief. She also would’ve needed the Avatar spirit to live but since Aang’s time was halted she needed the Moon spirit.
