I had this shot from one of my mates during our first technical work in photography.
We had to turn the lecture room into a photo studio. The setup included a grey backdrop with a support, a continuous light, a reflector and a RGB ring light as well.
We managed to control the ambience by positioning our subject Such that a direct light from a window which at a point we tried modifying and controlling hit our subject.
We shot with canon 6D MII at ISO 100 , f5.6 and a SS of 1/125 and an EF 85mm F1.8 canon mount.
It was so interesting and engaging. Everyone had to try to hit the trigger to take a shot either being your first time or not. Hahaha.
Framing was a bit difficult because one way or the other, we were kind of limited considering the size of the classroom.
Playing around the WB, when and where to use various camera WB recommendations, Setting the white balance using the gray or white card we’re some of the things I inquired.
I really had a great time together with my colleagues and Lecturer who assisted us to come up with great pictures.

mathematics in design (exploded illustration)

I designed a car using a cardboard based on prior knowledge on othographic drawing and exploded illustrations. This is actually an area we are studing under Mathematic of Desin. Othographic drawing simply has to do with the basic structure of an object based on it different views and Exploded Illustration has to do with the various components of the structure that makes it a whole. The model of the car inspired me a lot. considering the design and other features. the BMW 3.0 CSL is really a nice car. I really like cars like that so i decided to use that sort of car. In my production, I decided to use stickers to create interesting design on the body of the car. I tried my best to showcase other components of the car such as windscreen, seats etc. using various materials like plastic etc.

in my production , i decided to use some iconic places in Ghana to help create interesting scene. I used Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to help modify the lights of the camera exposure and create interesting effect. In some part of the Documentary photography, I decided to use abstract photography technique to enable the viewers think further. I also decided to make photograph of the actions instead of showing the whole appearance of the subject.this will enable viewer perceive with the eye and also create dominance.

Climate change refers to the rise in average surface temperature.
I produced shots to emphasis on some of the things that constitute climate change.
I focused on smoke (carbon dioxide)  and nature as well. So I took pictures of both smoke and the atmosphere
My pictures on smoke had a composition of some minor activities that produces carbon dioxide.
Because I shot this pictures on various days and time and location, I had to make some few adjustment on my Aperture, shutter speed and focus as well
My ISO for this shots was Auto with Shutter speed of 1/1200
I shot these pictures in manual mode with aperture of F24
My concept for the nature shot was to talk about how beautiful the atmosphere is.
And because climate change has got to do with global warming, I chose a picture with the sun making it look like sunset. Even though I considered it being a sunshine to depict a feeling of hotness, I chose sunset to tell how beautiful the atmosphere look and that it shouldn’t be depleted. I decided to use that for the wall calendar.
With the smaller calendar, I decided to use three picture.
The first picture is also a picture showing sunset.
The second is a picture of someone cooking using coal.
This is to depict some of the activities that constitutes climate change.
The last picture also talks about burning. This is to inform the individuals that burning produces a lot of carbondioxide which cause global warming or change in climate

Every photo should tell a story. In every shot of a photographer, there is a concept behind it.
The concept behind my shots was to to freeze motion, show motion and to show dominance using the aperture.
I us both manual and creative auto mode in taking my shots based on the situation.
With this Collections, I shot most using the manual mode.
My ISO for this shots was on Auto. It was cool. I wasn’t bothered about increasing it because I didn’t want to have enough digital grain in my works.
I shot these pictures in JPEG considering the remaining size of my memory.
In freezing motion, I adjusted my shutter speed around 1/640 – 1/1000 of a second and increased my Exposure compensation to modify the shutter speed and aperture of the camera’s recommended to my desire effect. I either not shoot overexposed or under exposed so I was much interested in properly adjusting my Aperture compensation. In showing motion, my shutter speed was on 1/25.
I shoot with an 18 -55 mm lens. Which doesn’t have enough opening compared to higher lenses. I had to manage and come up with great pictures showing dominance by blurring the background. My aperture was around F6.3 (55mm)
With the manual mode, I was able to adjust my focusing and determine where I want to blur (i.e either the background or foreground).
When I decided not to show motion, I set my aperture to F5.6 and sometimes used the Auto creative mode to have sharp focusing.
I was able to come up with nice compositions and great pictures
