So, i have a question, in book 2, in the scene that the team goes to rescue the fortune teller, before entering A talks them into going in and demand their surrender as opposed to going all surprise attack and beat the guys, that really didnt seem like a sound strategy, was that their real assessement of the situation or it was made thinking on not putting the detective into what could be a potential figth?ps. Sorry for the killing of the language, im in the process of learning english

As for your ask, you're kind of spot on with that. But it wasn't just the MC they were concerned for, but F as well. A would rather not put anyone in unnecessary risk but themself. This would also apply to N and M.

A is well aware of their skills, but still, risk is risk no matter how prepared you are. Sometimes it can't be avoided, and A just has to go with it and trust their plans though!

I just watched a clip from how to train your dragon 2 when Stoick saw Valka again after so many years and dropped one of the most heart-melting lines of all time "You're as beautiful as the day I lost you".

So my question is if somehow Rook managed to get resurrected by some powerful magic and Rebecca met the resurrected Rook. What will be Rebecca's/Rook's reaction?

OOOhhhh, what a question! It makes my heart ache just thinking about it...

Hmm, I think Rebecca would take a while to believe it. But then Rook would simply say her name, and she would instantly be happy to believe it.

I doubt there would be much talking, just hugging for a very long time. Rebecca never wanting to let go in case it wasn't real, and Rook just wanting to make her better after knowing how much his death must have hurt, and continued to hurt, her.

He'd just be smoothing down her back, saying he's sorry for taking so long, he got lost on the way back, and she'd want to reprimand him for joking at a time like this but be too happy to do so!

Oh man...I'm just gonna go cry in a corner as I think about this...

Tell Tane I'm shipping him and my M-mancer in a big way... and totally want him to steal her heart away because I know he wouldn't hurt her the way Mason did in the demo and will for a long time before he comes to his senses. Actually, screw her... she got stuck with Mason as her soulmate so she can suffer. I want Tane for myself. ;-P

I'm pretty sure you have gotten a roadtrip ask before unless I have conjured a false memory but What's the situation with UB going on a Long Drive with the Detective along for the ride? What are the seating arrangements, and what variables are introduced with the different romance paths?

Hmm...

A as the LI: I imagine A would insist on driving or having the MC drive so as they could sit up front. And A being team leader would likely mean this was agreed on, hehe! The others would squish in the back, with F insisting on sitting next to M, who would be the most fun to poke at on a long trip :F

N as LI: I think N would enjoy sitting in the back with the MC so as they could enjoy some quality time together instead of the MC focusing on driving, what with N not being able to drive and all :D The rest would probably draw straws on who ended up as third wheel in the back with them, lol!

F as LI: I think F would be happy up front or in the back as long as they were close to the MC. It would likely be the quietest trip with F that UB had ever experienced as the MC helps to calm their racing mind quite a lot.

M as LI: Definitely up front with the MC, though A and N would insist if that was the case then the MC should be the one driving!

To be honest, if it was a long drive, A would probably acquisition the use of two vehicles!

Ohhh....

Oh man, A...oh man...A's reaction would immediately be to say 'no' very vehemently, lol! :D But of course, they would bite it back because it's not true. They would probably glance over at the MC, feel that longing heartache, look down and then storm away without answering.

N would say that the MC isn't with anyone, but openly admit that they have feelings for the MC and say it's beyond just a crush for them.

F would chuckle and be like, 'No. Take your shot.' They would feel confident that they've read the MC's feelings for them correctly...up until the point that person actually talked to the MC, then they would rush over and try to charm the MC away from them, lol!

M, hmm...I guess it depends on what stage of the romance. Book One, then M would just shrug. Book Two, M would say everyone has a crush on the MC and to get in line, lol. Book Three, M would probably just glare at them until they left!

Well, N wouldn't have flutters of nervousness, but they're pretty experienced in meeting—as well as winning over—new people, the flutters would just be about making a good impression :D

F also wouldn't be too nervous, partly because they love meeting new people but also because it's someone related to the MC, and how can anyone related to their amazing partner be bad?

M...hm, less nervous and more annoyed at having to be social, lol!

A would probably be the most nervous. They don't really enjoy meeting new people, but they are also well aware of the fact that they would seriously want to make the best impression!
