siguro ayos na rin yung namulat ako sa para kay b sa murang edad—para kay b ang nagmulat ng mundo sa akin. simula nang mabasa ko ang librong 'yon hindi na siya umalis. minsan nagpaparamdam ang mga karakter sa akin. no, i think they are guides (they have been, for years). i buy and borrow books out of ~infatuation, yung iba dahil nadala lang, yung iba gusto ko nang ibenta to make room for new ones—for growth, to stretch empathy, but I also think in a way, those that i have outgrown from reflects my past selves (most of which i cringe over pero na-mi-miss rin). ah! siguro ito yung silbi ng shelves? maybe this is how life works, hating books and insisting not to give them up just because. kating-kati na akong i-add to cart yung pink na librong yun (ended up hoarding for washi tapes i know i will soon get sick of) pero umaasa parin ako na balang araw, paglaki ko—pag malaya na ako—sa isang booksale o lumang library o workshop ni ricky lee—sana, ako mismo ang pupunta at kukuha ng kopya nito. tumatakbo ang oras. umiigsi ang mga araw. sana may reprint pag nagkataon. word vomits are becoming less angsty but more mulat. . .i don't know what's better, but if both are 'worse', then i'm glad i got to let it out. willingly.

Muli, nakakulong na naman siya sa kwarto. Patay ang ilaw. Bakas ang remnants ng scale model na exam plate na ayaw na niyang alalahanin pa. Sa isip niya, papa-shift na siya mula sa arki. Tapos—sa wakas—kukuha ng kurso na sigurado siyang mahahanap niya ang sarili niya rito. Kaso.. mas magastos pa sa arki. Jusko, muli, nakakulong na naman siya sa silid na nagpapaalala sa kanya ng mga bagay she wants—hell, needs—to get away from but couldn't. Saan siya lulugar? Siguro senyales na rin na napaisip siya sa isang caption. Shades of purple yun ng sunset. Sakto, paborito niyang kulay AOTM. Tila nakakulong sa mumunting parisukat na riles.
