This is going to be the first thing I write on tumblr! I took the prompt from a guy called writing prompts, ill continue when I get sleep. PART 1!! The alien invaders don’t need to eat or drink. They photosynthesize. Outnumbered, our meager troops have made a last-ditch effort: They’re leading them to Alaska, in November. This is a memoir of Private Raounil of the Third Planetary Defense Force stationed in Yukon, Canada. He would serve in the First War in the Heavens, and to that would lose his life. - He fought valiantly, and until the end. Year 2235, October 26th.

Humans have lived on this planet for about 2.5 million years, from that, only 70,000 of those years had we been dominant on this Earth. But only 5,000 were we civilized, and yet within this short of a time, we have advanced from fire to interplanetary space travel, if we had just a thousand more years, where could we have gone?

But we may not have a thousand more years to prosper, humanity has a deadline set for two months, and after those two months, humanity as on earth may be wiped out if we don’t succeed.

For future historians, I will chronicle how we got here.

It all started on Jupiter, where an anomaly was detected over the big red spot, it had seemed to shoot out strange-looking asteroids that orbited Jupiter. It wasn’t too much of a concern until we noticed that they had strange plant-like creatures moving inside the asteroids. NASA was the first to realize they were plants.  That’s when NASA started to conduct research and prepare for alien contact, we dubbed them Aether Anomalies, Aethers for short and starting conducting research on them. We assume now they were hibernating on Jupiter until something on earth pulled them out of hibernation, but we don't even know where they came from.

We sent a probe out, and it was destroyed due to mysterious circumstances, but with the data gathered from the probe, we noticed they started moving to Earth and would arrive in three years.

It wasn’t until a year later, when we sent a manned probe to research the Aethers, that we realized the threat they posed. There was a live-stream being broadcast directly to earth, as it would be our first contact with extraterrestrials. Simply to say, those videos showed humanity what would and will happen when they land, and it was enough to convince most nations to united under the banner of the united nations to fight the Aethers.

I will continue tomorrow, they breached the outer defensive perimeter of Yukon, and I'm needed on the front.

As a Korean-American

If you see anyone who is a minority, and your first instinct is to ask what race they are, at least ask it like that. Asking someone “Where are you from” is quite rude to be quite honest, as it (atleast to me) implies I'm somehow less American then anyone else, even if I was born and raised here. To add, if you see asian and assume Chinese, literally fuck you its pretty racist ngl. 

oh too add once more, if someone replies Korean, don't ask “North or South”, like??? what??? are you trying to be funny or are you just a dumbass??

oh though its perfectly fine to ask this to like friends tbh, along as you already know them, just ask what race they are or smth like that.
