Introducing the phrase "found family" to fandom spaces was a mistake. Now half of fandon wants to force their "found families" into neat little boxes like "this is the dad, this is the mum, this is the fun uncle, these ones are siblings", even though the entire POINT of found family as a concept was to reject traditional family structures as the norm and rigid ideas of what a family even is, and then they get big mad whenever even dares suggest something romantic or sexual could happen between two completely unrelated mature adult characters they've arbitrarily decided are "parent/child" or "siblings" based on basically NOTHING in canon and start accusing that potential relationship of being incestuous. That's not how that works! That's not how any of this works!!

I love drawing cartoon characters in my art style, but Phineas and Ferb specifically are very hard for me. I struggle to keep the nose shape that I want for them while also having them still look like children. Children tend to on average have smaller/flatter noses than when they're adults, so I try to incorporate that in my art.

But Phineas and Ferb both have very big and very Not Flat noses that, when put into my style, automatically ages them up significantly. Their noses are the most important parts of their cartoon silhouettes so I want to still keep them but I can't make it work. If anyone has any ideas, I'm open to listen.

This might be an unpopular opinion (especially as someone who isn't even that knowledgable on Sonic), but I personally a ditzy and young Amy Rose who isn't particularly strong or smart and is just a normal little girl. I think the girlbossification of her (though not nearly as bad as a lot of characters I see get this treatment) is a little sad.

DON'T GET ME WRONG, crazy and obsessive is not what I want for her. But she doesn't have to be super strong or intelligent to still be valid as a female figure, and to be honest it's becoming increasingly hard to find characters like that. If anything it kind of hurts her relatability for me personally.

As someone who isn't smart or athletic, seeing so many "feminist" character's worths be defined by that alone kind of makes me sad. Not to mention, we already have characters like Rouge and Blaze to fill those roles, after all.

And she can still be valid to the plot for her emotional integrity and kindness, kind of helping keep the teams together. I mean, in both Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 didn't she convert a bad guy into a good guy just by talking to them (Correct me if I'm wrong!) I think that on its own is pretty powerful and something she can bring to the team that's unique and just as important.
