You’re seeing fall out boy on a concert. Everyone is having a great time. Fall out boy seem a little excited. “We have a surprise for you guys.” Partick says. All of a sudden P!ATD come out and start singing “this is gospel.” When Brendon gets to the chorus, someone else starts singing…
“When I was a young boy my father took me into the city to see a marching band.”
Lights flash everywhere, and you see FOB singing “this is gospel” along with P!ATD, while MCR is singing “Black parade”. Everyone in the crowd is going wild and crying. Then if things couldn’t get any better, Dan and Phil walk onto stage and kiss, holding the gay flag.

Tomie Unlimited // 2011 // horror // neutral
This movie made me accept that while I love Junji Itou, I'm really not interested in Tomie as a concept. Had some very cool and spooky visuals though that would make it worth rewatching sometime. Generally, I really don't like movies where no one believes the protagonist. It makes me too anxious.

i heard many many good things about this but it fell flat IMO. honestly i feel some people really romanticize (??) or glorify?? asian horror when this is just as lame as most western found footage films. some creepy visuals at the end, but that's literally it.

1BR (2019) - decent, not a bad watch but very quick with an unsatisfying end reminescent of the invitation but not nearly as good. the ending almost feels ripped off from it. it didn't feel like a waste of time or anything but wouldn't rewatch.

The Hunt (2020) - this movie was... good... i guess???? I like how it kept you guessing who the main character was in the first bit by using pretty familiar actors... but at the same time it felt like... weird.... right propaganda?? i know it was making fun of it but i couldn't help but feel like the whole time, anyone who is actually alt-right would watch this movie and be like LOL THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THE LIBS ARE GONNA DO TO US

The Lodge (2019) - I liked this movie a lot, but it was a bit predictable, and it was incredibly frustrating to watch. It hit my peeves in the right way. Not in a way that's an issue.... but like... where it had everything that annoys me so much that I struggle to finish it. Overall I think it was a great watch . also reminder these reviews are just for me and not meant to be super helpful LOL

Elizabeth Harvest (2018) - At first I was like "oh, this again?" But of all the movies I have seen with a similar-ish concept (Mother!, All That We Destroy, Triangle), this was by far the best and most interesting. I would definitely watch it again. It does have a slow start especially for anyone who is familiar with the concept, but it picks up quickly and the back story is a lot more interesting.
