So much time has passed, yet not enough. As you stand before the first gym of your journey, you took a deep breath. You have to remind yourself that it’s okay to not be ready for such a leap. So many people never make it through the first gym, especially not on their first try. Donghyuck seemed to be one of the lucky few who made it through without a sweat. From the story you heard, the gym leader is quite impressed with your friend. Although he did also have a natural advantage.
You could only hope that you don’t embarrass yourself in front of the whole gym, let alone their leader. The mechanical doors opened as soon as you stepped in range of the sensor. The inside of the gym mirrored the city around it, covered in plant life and grass type pokémon who claimed their homes in the building. A strange person wearing a pokéball on their head greeted you.
“Welcome trainer! Would you mind sparing a conversation with an old pokéball?” The person voice sounded very masculine. Even so, you didn’t want to assume anything about this person other than the fact they are wearing a pokéball on their head.
“Hello?” You said hesitantly stated as you walked closer to the talking pokéball.
“Hello! Welcome to the Zinnia City Gym! Home of grass type pokémon and the youngest of the Great Nine!” The Pokéball greeted you energetically.
“Would you like to hear the pokéball knowledge I have brought to bestow upon you?” The pokéball asked.
“Yes,” Any knowledge about this world you could get is an asset.
“Lovely! I will inform you about the three most common versions of the pokéball. You have already held the most common, the original pokéball I assume?” The pokéball who looks exactly like the pokéball he’s referring to asked.
“Yes,” You used the most common type of pokéball to catch Nickit a week or so ago. You’ve spent the week in Zinnia City training with Haechan, only deciding now that you and your partners are willing to try to fight the gym.
“Fantastic! The other common pokéball types include the Great ball and the Ultra Ball. The Great Ball is used when a pokémon continuously breaks free from the normal Pokéball. It’s enhanced technology allows for greater success rate when it comes to unpredictable pokémon. There are some really tough wild pokémon out there that can break free from the Great Ball as well, this is why the Ultra Ball was created. The Ultra Ball uses a slightly more enhanced version of the Great Ball materials giving trainers a chance if their Great Ball fails during capture,” The talking pokéball pulled out a Great Ball and handed it to you as they talked about it, and then soon after handed you an Ultra Ball as well.
“Please take these two gifts as a thank you for listening to my knowledge. I hope to see you again in the future to share more knowledge with you!” The talking pokéball spoke excitedly.
“Thank you so much for your gift and knowledge,” You’re nerves seemed to calm down after the kind interaction. You turned to face a man waiting for you at a counter in the center of the room that wrapped around him.
“Welcome Trainer! Are you ready to take on the Zinnia Gym and all of it’s surprises?” The announcer asked as he pulled out a clipboard.
“Yes,” You put your name down on the clipboard and your favorite number? Noticing your confusion, the announcer laughed.
“You must be new to challenges. No need to worry! Your favorite number will go on your jersey. It’s the dress code of the gyms to wear a jersey in a challenge,” The announcer opened the door to the pokéball looking desk in the middle of the lobby and led you over to a door only for challengers.
“Please walked through there, give the worker your favorite number and size, and they will retrieve a brand-new jersey from the back. Once you’re ready come back out to the desk and see me,” The man smiled as he held open the door for you. As you walked in, a very enthusiastic woman met you before you would walk in far enough to look around.
“Welcome trainer! Size and Number please?” She asked happily. You gave here your size and favorite number. You watched as she sprinted to the back. You looked around for a place to sit, but before you could the woman was already running back out to you with a uniform.
“Here you are trainer! Please go into the dressing room to get changed and here is the key to your locker. The number of the locker is on the key,” She informed you happily. The clothes were pushed into your hands as you were pushed into the changing room.
“This world seems to run a lot quicker than what I’m used to,” You said to yourself as you quickly changed into your uniform when the woman left. You followed to hallway and put your belongings away for the time being. You left the room and followed the woman back to the announcer from the beginning of his exchange.
“Welcome! You look ready to battle! How about we get you signed up?” The announcer took the clipboard that you signed earlier and quickly typed you into the system.
“Alright, Y/N, you’re up next! Please walk to the blue line in front of the door and wait to be let in by a staff member. There is a battle currently finishing up. As soon as it’s done, you can follow the staff member in and begin your journey,” the announcer informed you happily.
Without another word, you followed his directions and placed yourself directly behind the blue line. Suddenly, you felt nervous again. The nerves from before decided to make their presence known again. A woman with a big smile on her face, all dressed in green walked out of the arena. She said nothing, she moved out of the way and pointed with her hand to the door in front of you. Taking another deep breath, you walked to the door covered in greenery.
A humid atmosphere met you eagerly as you stepped through the door. The little research you’ve done on gyms informed you of the different puzzles each gym creates in order to make its more challenging experience. You sighed softly as you quickly realized the puzzle for this gym is a maze of greenery. This might take longer than you anticipated originally.

Looking at your Sobble nervously, the Sobble seemed to recognize Scorbunny as a friend and got ready to fight. You nodded slightly at Donghyuck and borrowed a stance you saw trainers use on T.V. The Scorbunny and Sobble seemed to know more about battling than you did. Both of the pokémon seemed to be comfortable in standing against each other. As if knowing no matter the aftermath of the battle, their friendship will stay intact.
“Y/N! From now on I will be called Haechan! Scorbunny and I will become a solar eclipse upon the training world! Look away now, no one can take on such a team surrounded by sunrays!” Donghyuck, now deemed as Haechan, smiled brightly while his scorbunny struck a cute little pose.
“Oh Really? I hope you don’t mind Sobble and I becoming a Lunar eclipse to defeat your solar flare,” You challenged. Even though you said it, you cringed a little bit internally.
“Scorbunny use Tackle!” Haechan jumped the gun to make his move first.
“Studying the chart, a while back, you recalled water is strong against fire type pokémon.“Sobble use watergun!” You decided after checking to see if Sobble was okay. Sobble took a moment to prepare itself and let loose a stream of water. It slapped the Scorbunny across the face and Scorbunny fell back. The water move was a lot more powerful than what you were expecting. The Scorbunny hopped back up.
“Alright I see how you want to battle, haha! Scorbunny use Ember!” Haechan yelled out, you flinched as the fire move hit Sobble. Although it wasn’t highly effective, it still had to hurt.
“Sobble use Pound!” You matched Haechan’s energy, knowing the Scorbunny couldn’t last much longer after such a powerful water move. As if agreeing with your suspicion, the Scorbunny fell back after the being hit by pound and didn’t get back up. The battle seemed to end as quickly as it started. Sobble quickly ran over to check on his friend. You followed worriedly as Haechan picked up Scorbunny.
“That was a great first battle, and I can see that Scorbunny and I need to work really hard to catch up to you two. I thought Scorbunny and I had an instant connection, but you two are quite powerful together,” Haechan spoke as he led you and Sobble back to the pokémart to heal Scorbunny.
“It was our first battle, I’m sure we just got lucky. Sobble and I haven’t truly bonded just yet,” You shook your head and bent down to pick up Sobble. The two of you walked into the pokémart and waited in a small line for the woman behind the counter to heal your pokémon.
“Alright well, I’m going to run up ahead. I want to put together the best team possible! I’ll meet you in Zinnia City where we will take on the youngest of the Nine!” Haechan smiled happily as he gave you a quick hug and ran off to the first route.
You watched as Haechan became smaller in the distance and you took a final look around Orchidville. With Sobble by your side, the two of you began your journey. Route 1 didn’t seem to be much trouble as the sign for Route 2 became visible after a few minutes. As you began Route 2 a child jumped out of a bush and onto your path. You jumped back startled.
“Stop trainer! I’m going to be the best trainer around! I challenge you to a pokémon battle!” They were dressed in a pikachu onesie and they pointed at you like you stole something from them.
“I don’t know about that-“ The child threw out a Skwovet before you could finish your sentence.
“I don’t want to battle a child,” You quickly stated as you tried to stop the battle.
“What are you too good to accept my challenge? Poké Kid Joey is here to take you down!” The child, Joey, insisted.
“Where are your parents?” You looked around, hoping to see concerned parents coming to stop the battle. You saw no one doing that. Your Sobble looked at you confusedly.
“Are you new? We made eye contact you have to battle me! That’s the rules! How are you going to get past Route 2 if you don’t know the rules?” Joey rolled his eyes and crossed his arms over his chest in a disappointed fashion.
“Skwovet use tackle!” Joey pointed at Sobble and the Skwovet rushed forward. You sighed noticing this child is not going to leave you alone. You certainly weren’t going to allow this child and his rodent to hurt Sobble without a consequence.
“Sobble use Pound,” Your Sobble turned from you and rushed forward to attack the rodent. After a few turns the rodent fell back in defeat.
“Ah rats! You beat me! Aren’t you being a bit too mean,” Joey sighed and picked up his Skwovet, you felt awful as Joey walked past you back to Orchidville. Sobble looked at you in a pointed manner.
“What was I supposed to do?” You asked Sobble, who promptly started walking away from you.
“He attacked me?” You tried to reason with the Sobble as it walked beside you.
A couple minutes of silence passed, when suddenly a Nickit jumped out of the tall grass. Once again, you’ve been startled by a small attacker. The Sobble got into position, making the decision to fight for you. As you tell Sobble to Pound, the small Nickit gets a little weaker. You pulled a pokéball out of your bag and throw it above the Nickit. The Nickit seemed to chuckle at your horrible throw, so you throw another.
It opens up and you wait in anticipation to see if the Nickit will become apart of your team. The ball wiggles once, twice, three times before finally settling. You smile and pick up the ball, you then give Sobble a potion to heal your partner pokémon. A few more trainers tried to take you and Sobble on, only to be bested by your partner. After a couple hours of battling and walking, Zinnia City appeared in the distance. You held Sobble close and started to walk quickly until you made it into the city.
Zinnia City is very lively. Flowers and bushes outlined the roads and walkways, not a lot of trees to stop the wind from running around the city though. Many trees seemed to outline the outside of the city rather than the inside. You stopped at the pokémart as soon as you saw it to heal Sobble and Nickit. As you left, a familiar voice grabbed your attention.
“Y/N! Hey!” You turned around to see Haechan smiling and waving excitedly. He ran over with Scorbunny close behind.
“You made it! I was starting to get worried,” Haechan teased lightly.
“I was taking my time, did you get ambushed by a child on your way here?” You asked as you remembered the strange incident.
“Oh… I completely forgot to tell you! The rule of the road is that if you make eye contact with another trainer, you need to battle them. Sometimes you can avoid them, but it helps your pokémon get stronger. You may even when some money from it,” Haechan explains.
“That’s sounds… illegal?” You said confusedly. Haechan just shrugged and pulled you over to a restaurant.
“That’s just how it is. Here sit down and relax. I’ll cover the meal this time, okay?” Haechan smiled and handed you a menu. The waitress came and quickly grabbed your order.
“So, while I was waiting for you, I talked to some of the locals to get information about Gym Leader Sehun,” Haechan began as you two waited for your food. Scorbunny and Sobble seemed to start a conversation on their own.
“His Leafeon, as stated by the professor, is his partner pokémon. From what I understand he also has Bellossom. Although they both pretty powerful, you might want to get some more practice with Sobble. Do you have another pokémon on your team?” Haechan asked curiously.
“I have a Nickit who laughed at me because I missed him the first time I threw the pokéball at him,” You sighed as you held up the ball with your Nickit in it.
“Wow, you got ambushed by a child and your Nickit laughed at you? You’re having a rough start, aren’t you?” Haechan shook his head as he took the Nickit in his hand.
“Listen Nickit, you picked a great trainer. I promise they’re very kind, so don’t give them a difficult time,” He scolded the Nickit gently before handing the pokéball back to you.
“We won’t challenge the gym until we’re sure you’re ready. I have a natural advantage with Scorbunny for this gym, but you have a natural disadvantage with Sobble,” Haechan explained. The waitress came over with your food and some little dishes for Scorbunny and Sobble. She informed both of you it the little meals for the pokémon are on the house. All four of you quickly began to eat, finally relaxing after a rough day.

Placing a gentle hand on the right-hand side. The ball seemed to shiver at your touch as if frightened by the sudden pressure. Carefully picking up the ball in your hands, you looked up at the Professor with a smile. The Professor nodded without saying a word, whereas Donghyuck picked up the most energetic ball in his hands. His grin rivaled a thousand suns as he called for Scorbunny to leave it’s pokéball. Scorbunny leapt from the ball and hopped over to Donghyuck. You looked down at the ball in your hands and sat down on the ground.
“You don’t have to rush; I know this is happening so suddenly. You can take your time; I know we will be great friends in the future,” You spoke softly to the Sobble inside it’s pokéball.
“Y/N ah, why won’t your Sobble come out,” Donghyuck complained as he can his Scorbunny chased each other around the room.
“This is a big change for the little guy, Sobble needs time to adjust to this change. After all, he didn’t ask for this. I will not force him if he is not ready to meet me,” You explained as you held the ball in your hands.
“Y/N hurry and become friends with Sobble, Scorbunny and I want to battle,” Donghyuck sighed as him and Scorbunny settled down.
“Battling is not always a priority. Anyone can see that you and Scorbunny have an instant connection. However, some partnerships need time to develop to their fullest potential,” You explained as you put your pokéball gently in your bag.
“Do you two know where you want your journey to go?” The Professor leaned against her desk as Grookey hopped up on to her shoulder.
“I’m not sure where this journey will take me,” You answered after a moment.
“I want to challenge the nine brothers!” Donghyuck jumped up and posed for the security camera in the corner of the room.
“Ah yes Donghyuck, you’re very ambitious. The nine brothers are all very talented in their art,” The Professor nodded with a smile.
“Can you tell us more about the nine brothers?” Donghyuck asked excitedly.
“I suppose I can, you will need some information about the Nine before you run into them on your journey,” The Professor and Grookey walked behind her desk to a black bookshelf and picked up a small, framed photo.
“I’ve known those kids since they were young and ambitious, Donghyuck reminds me of the younger brothers while you remind me of the older brothers,” The Professor chuckled as she handed you the framed photo. Twelve people smiled in a field surrounded by different types of pokémon.
“The three adults in the photo are me and their adoptive parents. The three of us were friends in school, quite close. We were all very interested in the scientific side of pokémon. Unfortunately, their parents passed after an accident involving the research of the Dynamax evolutions of the Galar region. Since then, I worked hard to give those boys every opportunity I could, eventually I was given the professor title alongside Aciano. Just when I thought things were coming together, Aciano was caught doing horrible experiments to innocent people and pokémon,” The professor looked away from the small, framed photo to look at the Grookey on her shoulder.
“That’s so sad,” You mumbled as Donghyuck came over to look at the photo with you.
“Indeed it is, yet the boys proved to push through their difficult beginning. Look at them now, they have no doubt made their parents proud,” The Professor smiled again.
“The Photo is foreshadowing who they have become in the future. Starting off on the left side Sehun, Chanyeol, and Junmyeon will be the first gyms in your journey. Sehun has an infinite connection to Grass type pokémon. The only pokémon I know that will be on his team for sure is Leafeon,” The Professor explains as Grookey climbs down to inspect the photo.
“Right! The Nine as considered to be the best of the best, rumor has it that each of them has their own eevee. Although from what you have said I’m assuming this isn’t a rumor?” Donghyuck asked as he looked up to the professor.
“You are correct, Donghyuck. It’s not a rumor, each of the nine has an eevee that they had since they were young. Each of them has a different connection to the special type pokémon, their eevee’s have evolved according to their connection with their trainer,” Something about this statement doesn’t make sense. If this were true, why would Baekhyun be the leader of a dragon type gym rather than a normal type gym?
“So therefore, Junmyeon will have a vaporeon and Chanyeol will have a flareon,” The Professor stopped talking as something about your atmosphere interrupted her.
“Your explanation doesn’t make sense with the Champion,” You looked up from Baekhyun’s smiling face to face the professor. She smiled and nodded, thinking for a moment.
“Baekhyun has always had a special connection to the sky. His connection to dragon type pokémon is something I’ve never seen before. The only connections more important to him than his dragon type pokémon is to his partner pokémon and to his brothers. He’s always known that his eevee would never naturally be a dragon type, until the emergence of the Star Stone. Although it never stopped him from being a great trainer to his eevee,” The Professor defended the Champion.
“How about I take you two to the pokémart down the road? You’ll need some items for your journey from now on,” The Professor stood up and the Grookey quickly climbed up to her shoulder again. You and Donghyuck stood up, you gently placed the photo on the professor’s desk and followed her out of the Research Center.
“Professor, the Nine are older than us, right? Yet, you are older than them? You don’t look as old as what you’re saying,” Donghyuck rambled slightly as the three of your walked down the street to the pokémart.
“I’ll take that as a compliment, Donghyuck. I am quite old, although I still feel young,” The Professor chuckled softly. The doors of the pokémart opened up quickly.
“Now go gather some items for yourselves, I will take care of the bill this time,” The Professor pointed to the three different areas of the pokémart. You knew from stories that the woman straight ahead can heal a team of pokémon no matter their state after a battle. The blue area to your right is where you can buy potions of different types and some pokéballs to add to your bag. You weren’t quite sure what the area to your left is, but you figured you would find out sooner than later. You walked over to the blue area and picked out two dozen pokéballs and two dozen potions.
“Thank you for shopping with us, the bill has already been taken care of!” The two men behind the counter nodded their thanks and began speaking with the next customer as you took your items and put them in your bag. A small pressure on your shoulder grabbed your attention. Sobble snuck out of his ball and he crawled up to your shoulder.
“Ah hello! I’m so happy to see you’ve come out. Do you want to meet Donghyuck and Scorbunny?” You asked the little Sobble. The Sobble seemed to shake a little bit, but it made its way to your bag and made a little home for itself outside of its pokéball. You smiled and made your way to meet up with the others outside of the pokémart.
“If you continue on this path, you will reach Route 1 and 2. The first city you will reach is Zinnia City. The tall grass is where most wild pokémon will hide, try and make a small team before you challenge Sehun’s gym,” The Professor advises you both.
“Alright, but before we go anywhere, I challenge you Y/N!” Donghyuck is going to get his challenge before the two of you begin your journey.

Beginning your journey at a later age than most, you have finally decided it’s time for you to explore the pokémon world. Looking around your room, you grabbed your bag and took a deep breath. The family Yamper laid down on your bed. Y/N smiled and walked over to pet the small Yamper. Before leaving, Y/N needs to stop in the kitchen. If you left without telling your mother, you would surely hear about it within five minutes of leaving the property.
“Come on, Yamper! Let’s go see mom,” The Yamper jumped up from the bed and bolted out of the room to the kitchen. Shaking your head, Y/N stopped in front of the mirror to fix your beret.
“Alright, let’s go explore what this world has to offer,” Y/N smiled and adjusted their bag. Taking a deep breath, Y/N left the comfort of their room and walked down to the kitchen.
“Y/N! Are you excited, you finally get to leave this town!” Their mother said excitedly as she handed them a muffin.
“Mom, you know I don’t have to go-“ You were cut off by your mother.
“Nonsense. If you don’t go now, you never will,” The mother stated quickly.
“You’ve helped me and your father so much with the house and in our time of need. You need to go explore the world for you. You don’t have to challenge the champion if you don’t want to, but go make some memories,” Your mother sighed as she handed you a small lunch box tied up in a nice bow.
“Besides Donghyuck is outside. He said if you keep him waiting for too long, he’s going to drag you out himself,” Your mother rolled her eyes and handed you another lunch box with Donghyuck’s name on it. Speak of the devil, a very enthusiastic series of knocked sounded throughout the small house.
“You better get going before Donghyuck knocks the whole house down,” Your mother laughed as she picked up the family Yamper. Quickly getting up from your seat, you grabbed the two lunch boxes and hurried over to the front door.
“Y/N~ Come on Y/N I know you hear me knocking!” Donghyuck spoke loudly as he continued his assault on the wooden door.
“Ah there you are Y/N! Oh! Is that for me? Thank you for lunch, Mom!” Donghyuck grabbed the lunch box and peeked his head into the house to smile at your mother.
“Lee Donghyuck, be careful out there and don’t eat that food too quickly,” Your mother responded.
“Your mother is so nice Y/N, are you already to go?” Donghyuck asked as the door shut behind the two of them.
“I am, are you ready to go?” You asked rhetorically.
“Of course! My journey to be the best I can has begun! It began when I saw how awesome I look this morning. I love your hat it really matches the occasion,” Donghyuck complimented you with a smile.
“Thank you and may I say you look amazing as always,” You chuckled as Donghyuck winked at you. The two of you have been friends for as long as you can remember. He delayed his trip around the region because he wanted to experience it with you.
“If we leave now, we should be able to reach the professor before noon. We need to stay out of the tall grass for now. Who knows what’s hiding in there,” Donghyuck said as the two of you closed the gate to your property? The next two over isn’t too far away. Your home was in the outskirts just outside the town where nearly everyone else stayed. The professor decided to meet them in the town as that is the closest center for materials that a new trainer might need. The Center for Pokémon Research in Orchidville is where you two are headed. Steering clear of the tall grass, the two of you ran the short distance to Orchidville, only stopping when you nearly smacked into the doors of the Research Center. Taking a couple of deep breaths, the two of you brushed yourselves down and walked into the Research Center.
“Ah Y/N, Donghyuck, welcome! You two are a bit early. Please look around while I finish up my work,” Professor Lily greeted the two of you. She clearly appeared surprised at your early arrival.
“You heard the professor, let’s look around!” Donghyuck stated excitedly, grabbing your hand to pull you around.
This specific Research Center focused mainly around how pokémon are able to use their abilities and why they have these abilities. There are main charts of types and moves that are specific to certain types. The most recent phenomenon is the Champion and his Eevee. Although you don’t know too much about it, you’ve heard your parents talk about the strange phenomenon. You took note of the move chart. It was filled with counters for each type of known pokémon abilities. A nervousness took over you as you looked at all the types and all the different kinds of counters for each one. It seems like it’ll be impossible to remember. Donghyuck seemed more interested in looking at all the different special items and stones that can help some species to evolve.
“Donghyuck, Y/N, you two can come back into my office now,” Professor Lily startled you both out of your thoughts. Donghyuck recovered and grabbed your hand excitedly rushing over to the professor’s office.“Please sit down, I would like to begin with congratulating you both. This is a big first step into the world of Pokémon,” The two of you sat down as suggested. The professor brought her hands together and smiled at you both.
“Before we begin, do you have any questions I can answer?” The Professor asked.
“What can you tell me about the champion and his eevee?” You asked without hesitation.
“The Champion and his Eevee, I should have known the rumors would have made it to Orchidville. The Champion is in possession of a very rare and dangerous stone. Not much is known about the stone as there are only four that exist as we currently know. The four people in possession of this stone are: The Champion, one leader of the Black Star, one leader of the White Calla, and Aciano. Some believe that the Champion is in possession of the stone to protect it, others believe that the other three work for Aciano,” The Professor explained.
“Who is Aciano? What does the stone do?” Donghyuck asked, now very interested in the topic at hand.
“Aciano is a disgraced professor who was kicked out of the scientific organization for alleged inhumane practices and experiments on both people and pokémon. Although it was never proven properly and the case was dismissed,” Professor Lily made her disdain for Aciano known through her facial features.
“As for the stone, it’s called the Star Stone. Although we don’t know how it was created or how it’s magic is stored, we do know one thing it’s capable of doing. It’s able to take a normal type pokémon and change it at the atomic level for a short period of time. It can turn a normal type pokémon into a dragon type pokémon for a short amount of time. From what I’ve seen from the Champion it can last from a couple of minutes to a couple of hours. Once his eevee changes back he needs 48 hours of rest to ensure his eevee is okay after the transformation. This is why he’s the first Champion of the region to actually schedule his fights according to his eevee’s transformation,” You and Donghyuck both look at each other and then back to Professor Lily.
“Do you think the Champion and Aciano are working together?” Donghyuck asked quietly.
“No, I’ve known Baekhyun since he was a kid. I don’t believe him, or his family are involved with Aciano at all,” The Professor smiled.
“Now shall we pick your partner?” Three pokéballs were presented to both you and Donghyuck. One in particular grabbed your attention, as if its energy was pulling you to it.

Everything seemed so far away, he remembered a time when he fell into a pool. He couldn’t swim then, they stood there as panic crushed his lungs. The sunlight faded as he thrashed against the darkness devouring him. Red hair in the shape of horns, an unconcerned gaze mirrored the unforgiving sea around him. Sink or Swim; it’s simple, isn’t it? Are they not supposed to be the perfected clones? Are they not the final product? A new wave of panic shot through him, another flaw. Sehůn gasped as he was pulled from the dark abyss, he coughed and wretched out the water that tried to fill his lungs.
“You need to be better, Sehůn. There’s no time for these flaws, the last thing we need is to train another version of you. There’s no time for these ridiculous imperfections,” Judgmental eyes as dark as a wave caught in a storm softened only for a split second, even Kāi would have missed it.
“I’ll do better,” Sehůn their creators have no problem with disposing him. They’ve done it so many times already.
Subject 99 is their current addition, 99 different Xiůmin’s walked in the same shoes. They’ve finally perfected Xiůmin with the 99th subject. The 1st couldn’t speak, the 10th couldn’t use its abilities, the 90th was burned to a crisp in an argument with Chanyeøl… there have been so many different Xiůmin’s, it’s always difficult to trust the second in command. Until now, the 99th subject is the best creation since the 1st Suhø. The Red Force studied Suho inside and out for many years. He made them promise to leave the other Exo members alone as long as he could stay conscious. A foolish mistake if you asked Sehůn.
If the creators were allowed to study the others like they did Suho, they all could have been perfect originally. The war would have ended so quickly if they were all as perfect as Subject 01. How many more needed to be created and destroyed before they are all as perfect as Subject 01 and Subject 99? Sehůn hid his fear quite well from the others, an emotion he shouldn’t have in the first place. He’s flawed beyond repair, it’s only a matter of time before the creators understand how flawed he truly is. Sehůn is Subject 93, and he is flawed. He’s not ready to die, he’s not ready to be destroyed. As long as he can continue to hide his flaws, he could live.
“Sehůn, we need to get going to the next test area,” Subject 04 startled him from his thoughts. Another clone lucky enough to have been perfected early on.
They were given the emotions to “care” for each other, just in a different way. Caring too much is a flaw but using that ability to drive rage is a current test. Sehůn can’t imagine how hard it must have been for those who were perfected early on, especially for Suhø. Suhø met all 99 Xiůmins. He met 4 Baëkhyuns and 9 Lāys, it must have been so lonely for him… Sehůn followed closely behind their emotionless leader, they all strived to be as perfect as the first. He looked around to his brothers and counted quietly, making a small list in his mind.
1 Suhø, 4 Baëkhyuns, 99 Xiůmins, 61 Chanyeøls, how many different versions of the others did they still need to go through? Only four of them were perfected, five of them still needed a lot of work. Sehůn remembers hearing from one of the creators that their search for a perfect formula based around Subjects 87 and 9 is almost over. Having a perfect version of Kāi and Lāy would give the Red Forces an edge against the Originals. Giving them time to perfect the rest of the clones, Subject 93 knows he doesn’t have long with his brothers.
The Creators never allow a clone with flaws to live long. Should he try to fight against the Creators like the last D.Ø did? That was the first time he ever saw the great Suhø fight for one of them. It was really hard watching them take Subject 11 away from Suhø. It was the first time Sehůn ever saw the truth. Subject 01 has a dangerous flaw, one he hides from the Creators with his quick processing and adapting abilities. Subject 01 cares for each and every one of the experiments in his own way, caring too much is one of the most dangerous flaws an experiment can have. Yet, he’s gotten away with it. He’s the only clone of the great Suho to ever pass all the tests given to him, Sehůn wonders if Baëkhyun and Chanyeøl can see the flaw in great Suhø too.
As they arrived at the next training area, Chën and him were pulled aside. Sehůn now understood why Baëkhyun seemed so angry today, why Suhø refused to meet his gaze in warmth. Two of them were being pulled to go back into phase one. Their “family” isn’t losing one brother today, they’re losing two. Chën follows without a fight, knowing there’s nothing he can do.
Sehůn frantically looks for Suhø warm gaze, only to meet an icy glare instead. Sehůn ripped his arm from the nurse trying to sedate him, he’s not ready to die yet! Footsteps approached him slowly. When did he start feeling dizzy? Sehůn turned to see Suhø next to him instead of the nurse, shaking his head slowly he begged for his life through his gaze. Why couldn’t his mouth move? He pled with his gaze; he wants to stay for one more day. He wants another chance to prove he can change and improve his flaws.
“Sehůn it’s time to rest,” Suhø spoke to him softly as the other bodies in the room began to disappear.
“I’m not ready, please convince them to let me stay! I can grow stronger-” Sehůn could only see Suhø now, he felt Subject 01 “help” him onto a soft surface.
“Fight for me like you fought for him,” Sehůn whispered softly, when did it become so difficult for him to breathe?
“You’re flawed,” Suhø stated simply without an ounce of sorrow in his tone. Sehůn thought he saw tears forming in Suhø’s eyes, but maybe it was a trick of the light from Baëkhyun.
“Goodnight, Subject 93.”

Hello!
Hello everyone, long time no see! I apologize for being away so long. I was having a difficult time mentally and I am also a full time student which doesn’t help in the mental department (haha...) Let me know if there is anything you would like to see! I have some things planned, but I want to hear from you

Admin E, will you keep requests open for BTS and GOT7 and others?
I will work on requests addressed to me. If you would like something from BTS or GOT7, I don’t mind keeping it open. However, it will be written by me and not Admin D and S as their requests are closed for right now. So, if you don’t mind me writing it, I would be happy to keep them open along with Dreamcatcher, Exo, Red Velvet, Super M, and Monsta X.

TIR VII - Subject 07
Warning: Hospital appearance, restraints, testing, sedatives
Tumblr media
Minseok watched lifelessly as Jongdae and Chanyeol were rolled back into the main room. Another man came in after, he was rolled into the room quietly. The new man looked at each one of them, he looked older than Baekhyun, Jongdae, and Chanyeol, but he didn’t look older than him or Junmyeon. He was dressed in the same pristine white attire as the rest, the only difference being a black number 10 on his collar. Chanyeol shifted in his dreamless sleep, the new man looked over Chanyeol worriedly. Minseok shuddered at the look.
“Welcome Zhang Yixing, welcome Orange,” The Great One boomed from the speakers around the room.
‘Orange’ Minseok thought quietly to himself. The robots left the room as soon as the Great One was finished speaking.
“Orange, Yixing, I wish I could welcome you under other circumstances,” Minseok sighed softly as he looked at the other.
“May I know your name?” Yixing asked after his greeting.
“Minseok, I am Light Blue. This one next to me is Junmyeon, Dark Blue. Baekhyun and Sehun are on either side of us, they are White and Green. Then there is Jongin and Zitao, Black and Pink. The two who are unconscious on either side of you are Jongdae and Chanyeol, Red and Yellow,” Minseok introduced everyone to their new brother.
“They were in the room with me...” Yixing said as he looked at Jongdae and Chanyeol.
“Yes, they helped create you. The Great One created all of us,” Yixing looked a little confused, but Minseok figured it had a lot to do with that he was just created. Yixing looked back at Chanyeol and Jongdae.
“Thunder and Fire, the phoenix…” Yixing mumbled softly. Minseok and Junmyeon looked at each other confusedly.
“How do you know about that?” Junmyeon asked softly.
“I’ve seen it. Water, Ice, Light, Wind…” Yixing mumbled to himself. The robots returned and walked straight to Jongdae and Kyungsoo. Yixing pulled against his restraints, the others weren’t even aware he was restrained. Once all of the robots walked over to Yixing. With a press of a button, the bag next to Yixing’s bed started to turn light blue. Once the light blue overtook the bag, Yixing stopped thrashing against his restraints. The same was done to the remaining boys around them. Junmyeon, Minseok, and Chanyeol were rolled out of the room. Kyungsoo and Jongdae were rolled out of the room. Kyungsoo looked at Jongdae nervously, the other hasn’t even woken up from the last extraction. There hasn’t been enough time in between.
“Please, leave Jongdae with the others. Is it possible for you to leave him alone, just for now? Just until he wakes up?” Kyungsoo pled with the robots. They stayed silent as the two of them were rolled down the pristine hallway. Kyungsoo looked at the doors they passed. The hall didn’t appear to be so big at first glance, but there were so many rooms. They all had numbers above them in a pitch-black color. There were fourteen rooms in total. The ginormous white double doors swung open, leading to the Room of Creation. Jongdae was placed on the far side of the room, leaving Kyungsoo to be close to the doors rather than the observation window.
‘Observation window?’ Kyungsoo thought to himself as the process began. The ceiling opened, Kyungsoo winced at the earsplitting screeching it created from its old and tired gears.
____________________________________________________________
Heavy shoes crushed the ground they fell upon as they walked through the pristine white hallway. A product of his creation walked quietly alongside him. Together, they looked into the observation window. It was all for show, of course. The boys slept peacefully as the third boy was rolled into the room in between them. The robot turned to the man they served.
“Great One, what is the new color?” The robot asked.
“Brown,” The Great One answered simply.
“What are your next orders,” The robot asked.
“Take them home,” The Great One ordered.
“What about room 07?” The robot turned to the entrance.
“I will take care of room 07. Take the others home<” The Great One said without ever looking to the robot.
The Great One followed when more robots came to roll the three boys out of the “Room of Creation”. He quietly walked behind the three subjects. Purple is rolled into room 12, Yellow is returned to room 21, and Brown is placed into room 00. The remaining subjects have already been returned “home”, into their proper rooms. All sleeping due to their medicine. Room 07, at the end of the hall, was the only room to make a sound. Of course, subject 07 is never one to stay quiet. A smaller boy, similar to subject 99, thrashed against his restraints. He screamed in frustration as he tried to get out of his imprisonment.
“You know, this process could go smoothly if you would just let it,” The Great One announced his arrival condescendingly.
“I will get through to them and once I do, you better count down your days,” Subject 07 spit at the Great One.
“How will you do that? The solution I give them counteracts your abilities, subject 07,” The Great One sighed as he resumed the same old argument.
“Then why haven’t you used it on me? Surely if you use it on me, the fight I have in me will become suppressed,” Subject 07 growled.
“Subject 07, you know that’s not how the solution works,” The Great One chuckled. His crimson eyes shimmered with insanity from the pitch-black corners of the room.
“You and I both know you can’t hold on to them forever,” Subject 07 sneered.
“Maybe not, but I can hold on to them for long enough,” The man walked back the door.
“Think about it subject 07, would you rather die fighting for people who don’t fight for you, or would you rather join them and be complete again?” Without waiting for an answer, The Great One opened the door and locked subject 07 inside once more.

Note
will there ever be a part 3 to your x-exo post? specifically where the remaining exo members find out that the red force/x-exo have gotten to their sehun and jongdae and try getting them back
I’m so glad you asked! There will be indeed a part three! It’s one of my favorite things to write right now, but I want to make sure I have posted 7KoI and TIR first. I’m still not happy with the way the next part for those two series’ have turned out, so I’m trying to change some stuff. But there will be a part three!

Hello there, thank you for your question. I’m hoping by tomorrow night or Sunday. Things really didn’t go my way this week. I apologize for not having them up yet. Until then you can request some drabbles if you would like.

The sky crackled, splitting into two. A fight between good and evil, a tale as old as life itself. Minseok stood on the blood-soaked ground, looking at his domain in despair. The leader of the Ice Dragons declared war upon the human race. Minseok knew as soon as the human leaders decided to expand their territories further than allowed by the peace treaty that death was soon to follow. Like his kind, Minseok hates humans. The bodies of his brothers and sisters and the bodies of man littered the grow where he stood.
All supernatural creatures joined a side, the creatures of the night joined forces with the Ice Dragons. Those who chose to protect humans are banned from ever returning to the supernatural realm. Not a lot of creature chose humans over their homes. Mainly those who believe they can help humans chose to leave the supernatural realm for good. Certainly, Minseok wasn’t surprised when the Angels, Guardians, Familiars, and Fairies chose to leave. Minseok shifted as the final horn blared throughout the skies. Wings as cold as frostbite sprouted from his back, an Ice Dragon took his place faster a human could take a breath.
With a powerful jump, Minseok raced against the trees as he gained altitude. Ice coated the ground where he stood, and frost branched into the trees after him. The final call for an attack on the humans, this will change the war into the favor of the Supernaturals for good. The Angels lost their stream long ago when the humans refused to listen to their advice. The Fairies were hunted for their powers, only a few remained in hiding.
The Guardians and Familiars still try their best to help sway the human’s decisions, but human ears have tuned them out. All that’s left for the remaining allies is to fight against the Ice Dragons head-on. Minseok took a breath as he soared across the sky, lightning crashing all around them as their allies fought on the ground. He closed his eyes and thought of a happier time. He thought of a time when he loved humans. To a person, he knew many, many years ago.
“Y/N! You know I can still sense you in my human form,” Minseok chuckled as he spoiled your surprise attack.
“Come on Minseokie, can’t you let me win just once?” You pouted and crossed your arms over your chest.
“Nonsense, then where would all the fun go?” Minseok laughed as you hit him lightly.
“Come now, Y/N, it’s time for you to head home,” Minseok sighed as he pulled you in for a hug.
“Why do I always have to leave so early?” You asked quietly as you held on to him tightly.
“Because, my delicate frost flower, I don’t want you around here when the sun goes down. There are a lot of dragons who still don’t approve of humans. It’s dangerous for you here,” Minseok gently kissed the top of your head, he felt a warm tear hit his shoulder.
“Do not cry, my love. I will see you again tomorrow,” Minseok pulled away and wiped away your tears. As the two of you stood in each other’s arms, the sun continued to slip from the sky. Minseok smiled at you gently when you finally released your grip around him. You turned away from him and began to walk the small journey home, before disappearing from his sight you turned around to wave at him.
“Minseokie, I’ll see you tomorrow. I love you!” Minseok waved back with a small chuckle and returned the loving goodbye.
As soon as you left his sight, Minseok turned to head home. On a normal day, Minseok loved his abilities. He loves the ice and frost he can create; he loves being about to hear your heartbeat throughout the land. Today, however, his abilities are a curse. A sickening, ear-shattering boom echoed throughout his mind.
Minseok turned around slowly to listen, he couldn’t hear anything but nature all around him. He couldn’t hear you. Minseok ran in the direction you disappeared to; the world around slowed down with every step. The sky grew dark as he ran, the clouds began to cry across the land. Bursting through the trees, Minseok looked around.
Supernatural hunters gathered around a still body. For the first time in his life, Minseok froze. Hands wrapped around him and pulled Minseok away from the scene. Minseok screamed and thrashed in the arms of the unknown being. The hunters surround their kill, they surrounded you. The sky erupted in anguish as Minseok screamed, shattering his eardrums.
Minseok opened his eyes as he landed on the final battlefield. Eyes filled with white fire as rage burned through his veins. At the command of his leader, Minseok and the other dragons began their final assault on the humans for now. As Minseok went in for his first kill, a fox stood in front of his prey. A gorgeous fox with white and blue fur and has nine tails. The fox shifted in front of him, staying in front of the man it was chosen to protect. For the second time in Minseok’s life, he froze. The fox shifted into a being with a human form. The Kitsune turned into you.

Bloom
Admin Eva: Here you go, @sdn-bl , I hope you like it! Thank you so much for the request!
Trigger Warning: Depression
Tumblr media
Siyeon walked into a flower shop after dance practice with the other girls. She looked around for a while, covered to avoid any attention. The scents of the flowers all around her filled her with delight. She avoided the roses and the carnations; those options were too obvious. Siyeon stopped at the beautiful hydrangeas, many different colors lined the back of the store. Purple, pink, yellow, Siyeon looked passed them all until her eyes settled on blue. The blue hydrangeas were displayed behind all the other colors, Siyeon smiled as she picked a small bouquet of the blue hydrangeas.
The woman at the check out counter offered her a vase to go with the flowers, Siyeon knew better. The last time she brought home another vase, you showed her all the vases she has ever bought. Siyeon agreed that she has too many vases. Siyeon politely declined and thanked the woman for her generosity. The cold air punctured her lungs as her breath escaped her. Winter is a strange time to buy flowers, but Siyeon knew you would smile when you saw them. That smile is worth a million diamonds, and Siyeon would do anything to see it again.
Recently, it seemed like your energy levels were depleting in the blink of an eye. Siyeon walked the short distance from the company to your home. Taking a deep breath, she knocked on the door and waited for you to answer. You gave her a key, but she still felt a little strange using it. She waited a few moments, and suddenly the door unlocked and opened. She excitedly walked in, immediately she felt the atmosphere drop. You didn’t say hi, you turned as soon as the door opened and walked straight back to your room.
Siyeon looked at the dining room table, the newest vase sat in the middle. It was empty. Siyeon smiled as she walked over to the vase and put the flowers in their new home. The flowers contrasted greatly against the atmosphere that coated the apartment. She placed her coat in the closet and left her shoes by the door. Quietly, Siyeon walked to your bedroom. Looking into it to see you, Siyeon’s heart cracked a little bit. You are curled up in your bed, completely covered by your comforter in a dark room.
“May I come in?” Siyeon asked softly. You sighed and peeked out from your comforter.
“You don’t have to ask,” You opened your cocoon for Siyeon to lay down next to you. She smiled and immediately hopped in next to you.
“I’m sorry, I know you want to take me out today-“ Siyeon interrupted you with a soft kiss against your lips, silencing you gently.
“You never have to apologize to me. I understand you need time to recharge, but I don’t want you to be alone. You never have to be alone,” Siyeon smiled at you kindly.
“Let me protect you, let me be here for you,” You nodded slowly and hugged Siyeon. Despite the despair all around you, the atmosphere that suffocated you, your gorgeous guardian angel appeared with some beautiful flowers. As the two of you cuddled in the dark and cold room, the flowers on the dining room table bloomed.

Let’s Love
Anon: Requests + a F Covid19 Let's Love Special Request. 💝💝💖💖
Admin Eva: Thank you so much for your request, I hope you like it
Trigger: Mention of Covid 19
Tumblr media
The sun glared through the window sneaking passed the blinds. Junmyeon growled as he glared at the intruders. He was having such a nice dream, only to be awoken so rudely by the sun. Slowly sitting up, he stretched and yawned. Junmyeon picked up his phone as his alarm started to ring. A smile stretched across his face. Today is the day! Jumping out of bed, he ran to the bathroom and ripped his toothbrush from its home. As he was brushing his teeth, he ran back to his room to pull out the special outfit he planned for today.
“This is such a waste of time to do it like this! What am I thinking?!” Junmyeon growled to himself.
He ran back to the bathroom to finish brushing his teeth. As soon as he was done, he dropped the toothbrush and ran back to his room to get dressed and brushed his hair quickly. Realizing he forgot to put his toothbrush back and he forgot to turn off the water, Junmyeon bolted back to the bathroom. Junmyeon turned off the water and placed his toothbrush in its spot. He fixed his hair in the mirror and smiled when it looked perfect. He fixed his shirt and tie.
Although he wasn’t going anywhere, he needs to look good for this occasion. Junmyeon smiled again into the mirror and made his way to the kitchen. He put on his apron and grabbed the proper ingredients from his cabinets. Before starting anything, he washed his hands and turned on the rice maker after.
A few beeps to his side alerted him to the rice marker. Quickly he put the rice into the rice maker and added the correct amount of water. Junmyeon washed his hands again and moved on to short ribs and put them in a pressure cooker.
“I could take Kyungsoo in a cook-off,” Junmyeon boasted as he cracked the eggs into the pan.
The soft hiss of the eggs hitting the pan's surface reminded him of the time he was on the Idol Cooking show with Baekhyun. Junmyeon shuttered as he remembered how embarrassed the both of them were after the program. He focused on the eggs, making sure not to overcook them. He placed eggs off the side. While all the items were cooking, Junmyeon ran over to the table and lit a candle.
He set a little flower off to the side and set his phone up in the middle. About an hour passed when more beeping grabbed Junmyeon’s attention as he was setting up his eggs and rice nicely on his plate. Junmyeon smiled as he walked over to release the steam from the pressure cooker. Adding the ribs to the plate, he grabbed a cold beverage and sat down in front of his phone. A few more minutes passed, Junmeyon started to fidget in his seat. Suddenly, the phone rang. Junmyeon answered quickly and smiled as he saw your beautiful smile.
“Good morning,” You waved at him.
“Good morning,” Junmyeon returned the greeting.
“I hope I’m not getting in the way of anything you have to do today,” Junmyeon smiled softly as he saw you nervously fidgeting in your chair.
“Nonsense, this morning it’s all about us,” Junmyeon eased your worries.
“Thank you for doing this, you look very handsome this morning,” You complimented him as you moved your small candle and flower into the frame. The two of you always had the same thought process when it came to dates.
“No illness is going to stop us from having this breakfast together. Even if I can’t be there physically with you, I still want to be with you,” Junmyeon chuckled softly.
“You look very beautiful, Y/N,” You blushed at the compliment, he always knew what to say to turn your nerves of steel into jelly.
“Let us enjoy this time together, let’s love this breakfast just as we would if we were face to face,” You nodded at Junmyeon’s words. Raising your glasses, you both made a little clink sound and began your morning date.
