I'd probably sell my soul for tunes. But then I'd listen to my music and feel awful for selling my soul. Fortunately, it's a habit that kind of keeps me in check.

I think I blame money and those damn societal pressures. You're expected to get married, make a lot of money, get a nice house, pop out babies, then retire and die. Greed's probably a factor, too. People start selling off "little" ideals for things or money until all they have left is a bunch of stuff and nothing of themselves. They just keep convincing themselves that they have to take that corporate job or they can't afford whatever the fad is. People put stuff above everything. Mostly their own selves, sadly.

I believe you, people rarely discuss the societal pressures boys have to be "men," which is awful. In high school, I just went with the assumption everyone had that I worshiped Satan in order to seem tougher. You would think guys in general would be more sympathic to women's plight after going through that stuff themselves. Point of it all, is fuck your social standards!

If you're writing a negative review, be prepared for people to dislike you. Did you really become a journo to make all your favorite musicians like you? Because if that's the case, you have no business in this business.

You know why I hate the baby boomers so much (Besides the fact that they trashed the economy to benefit them solely, completely ruined a future for my generation). They were all hippies in the 60s and 70s who gave the fuck up, got a corporate job and loved money more than humanity or love or compassion. It was a fucking fad. And I hate fads.

I'm the kind of person who sees benefits in more than just money from things. Plus, I think if you put positive out, positive will come back. "Be the change you want to see in this world" and all that

I'm usually pretty cool and level-headed about bands, but A-F is different for me. Most of the time I follow the whole "no heroes" thing, but I just love everything they do. I can't help it
