I had an extra pumpkin from Halloween, so I thought I would try a variation to the typical back carving I do. I was inspired by the searchlights seen in the several day Ghost live steam done prior to the release of Hunter's Moon. The left side is the modification and the right side is the typical.

Imagine that somewhere in the ministry there is a large statue in honour of the very first Sister of Sin.

Inspired by a photograph of Gian Lorenzo Bernini's statue of Constantine, taken by Saiko (wikipedia).

I didn't keep the statue because my aim was to practise by completely creating a part of the work, but the photograph was very useful for everything else, the architecture and especially the light! Without Saiko's beautiful photo, this illustration wouldn't exist.

It was an interesting exercise!

I love me some Dracopia

A quick little Dracopia for Halloween. The reference is a photo of Bela Lugosi as Dracula with a bat shadow projected behind.

I didn't expect it to turn out this way, it was only supposed to be a pencil sketch, but playing around with brushes and effects led to this.

I couldn't work on the important things, so I made this. It's almost a study, you might recognise a ritual pic, I just wanted add ssssssomething.

the style is a bit haphazard, I started out wanting to do a painting without lineart, then finally I thought it would be too long so along the way I opted for the style I used for the Hellraiser crossover and the skeleton stack. So if it's weird, it's normal hehe

Perhaps I deleted it, applied a correction and published it again straight away. Who knows...
