Kyler, human disaster. She/her. I talk a lot about fandoms, whatever I'm interested in at the moment. I write and I ramble and give meta opinions nobody asked for. I try to stay out of fandom drama, but I’m always willing to chat!
nothing is problematic about my mutuals. they have a sexy amount of insanity and the most beautiful, and grotesque minds ever. some might not understand them, but i do. also you’re just jealous.
Look, I’m not saying that trusting Ruby ended well, but it was a perfectly reasonable thing for Sam to do. Considering that she’d been proven right about basically everything so far, and had even undergone torture by Alastair– whose skills Dean could vouch for– to help them with Anna, it’s less rational for Dean to not trust her: The girl’s track record was good.
If someone forces you at gunpoint to guess the color of the slip they will pull from a hat where you know that 90% of the slips are blue and 10% are white, you should guess blue. There’s still a 1-in-10 chance that the slip they pull will be white, but that doesn’t mean that you were “wrong.”
Given only what Sam knew, there was a high probability that Ruby really did want to stop Lilith, so working with her was the right choice at the time he made it.
Around 2,000 years ago, Ymir Fritz obtained the power of the Titans and became the first Titan, the Founding.
Some say she was given her powers from “God”, others claim she made a deal with the “Devil”, and there are few who say she “touched the source of all living matter.” Thirteen years later, she died and her soul was split into the Nine Titans, who were inherited by nine of her subjects, those people are called “Subjects of Ymir”.
Humans who inherit the power of the Titans, enables them to transform into their inherited Titan at will, gaining its special abilities while retaining their human body and intelligence. They access the memories of previous Shifters that also held this power. If a Pure Titan gains this power, it will return to human being.
All inheritors of her power would be doomed to die after 13 years as she did, known as the “Curse of Ymir.”
If one of the Nine Titans is not transferred before dying, the Titan will be sent to a random baby among the Subjects, with distance and blood relation playing no factor. This led to the discovery that all Subjects of Ymir are connected by “Paths”, and these Paths connect all Subjects to the Founding Titan.
