Sorry about the lack of updates, it’s been hard to think of a point of doing all this lately. I mean, I’m having fun while I do, but I can’t seem to think of any way to get out of the situation I’m in. To go further, to evolve.. The current crisis doesn’t help with looking for an art-related job, but let’s be honest, the problems are older than that. It’s probably time to move on.

Until I find something else, I’ll keep drawing, and I’ll probably keep drawing after that, but obviously not with the same intent.

Here's my first real draft for the Fox gambler. She's huge, more than 2 meters tall. I intended her to be a dignified/stoic character, but after scribbling a silly smile for fun, I couldn't resist turning her into a goofball. Unless that's exactly what she wants you to think?

Still not quite sure about her markings, or her hair. A short bobcut might suit her? Drew one of her eyes because what's not, as she probably will never open them ordinarily. I'm too much a fan of that trope to miss using it when I get to work on a kitsune character.

Doodled the vampire gal while waiting for results.

She's a vampire that tried to learn how to ignore her thirst through intense training and meditation. Didn't work, and now with all the skill she gained, she's even more of a crazed, unstoppable force of mayhem than before.Still not sure about the pupils, maybe they'll switch depending on her mood?

Also, yeah, she can grow a giant, teeth-covered tongue from the back of her head, but also teeth from the palm of her hands and sole of her feet. Faster than sucking blood the classy way I guess.

Might use her for this month's CDC (Yokai & Kami) as she's a blend of a vampire, but also a futakuchi-onna and a kuchisake-onna. And I guess I'll have to think of a name? Probably something silly like Emi Globine.

#01 Fighter:  "Ulberg is a twig, but a swing of that axe should still prove useful.. as long as it lands on the desired target."

#02 Hungry: "As most goblin artifacts are made out of salvaged corpses, bone-chewing is seen as a crucial role for the tribe. They say that when Hikapo enter her transe, the noises that can be heard are words ripped straight from the Earth itself."

#03 Artificer: "Like most goblin tinkerers, Mishga is generally drunk or bursting with adrenaline. The mayhem that usually follow each of her "stroke of genius" is always surprising, even by goblin standards."

#04 Wild: "A Wildcaller's powers can turn the tide of a battle. However Slobenak inherited the flegm of the Capybara that chose him as vessel, becoming completely uninterested in fighting. For now, he mostly take naps in the middle of the battlefield."

Already late three days in? Yup. Who's the dumbass? I'm the dumbass!

So, i went and participated in not one, but two challenges for this month! Uri's Gobtober (where I'll do quick designs, trying to go faster and be more efficient as I go) and the classic #Inktober, where I'll use the" official" list and make props.

Something I'm working on for fun between freelance and job hunting: Scylla's Seat, a fictive fighting game project where monstergirls compete for the most coveted position of the realm.

For now her name's Liseron, she's a nymph and plays as a mid-range grappler. Her arms and legs are only vines mimicking human limbs, so she can have them take the shape of whatever fit her situation the best.

Added a few informations for the DTIYS.

I really should do more with her, but even though she’s one of my most fleshed-out character, her story is quite lacking for now.

She started as the protagonist in a pulp supernatural story, but the more I think about it, the more I want to lower that aspect. Maybe keep a few supernatural things, but toned down. I kinda like contemporary stories with low fantasy aspects.
