i love how lost pairs some of the most dramatic and tense episodes with a totally random and funny side plot.

- we first meet danielle and she tortures sayid — first island golf game!

- the hatch goes into lockdown and locke gets his leg trapped — jack v sawyer poker game (pissing contest)

- sayid finds and tortures ben (henry gale) — sawyer and hurley hunt down an annoying tree frog

- we first find the flame and meet mikhail — sawyers mad he doesn’t have his stuff :( and plays ping pong with hurley
