Hi everyone! I'm done with all the creations for Willow Creek, which means the new version of my save file is on the way! Buuuut... I also realized that with the ceiling update, I'm gonna have to update a lot of my builds, write new descriptions and lore when I create rental units, and it's gonna take me some time. Also, I've not really been playing TS4 since For Rent. Having so many bugs in the game is making me very nervous to break my save file and lose everything I've worked on, I won't lie. So be patient with me! In the meantime, here is a glorious build for a family that I adore, the Alstons.

(I had to remove all of the custom paintings from the build to be able to share it on the gallery. It's a bug apparently, some of them are preventing you from uploading builds. The tray version you can download on my Patreon has all of the original gallery art.)

The Alston Mansion is an impressive building, charming in some ways but also scary. There’s an aura to it. When you walk by, a strange feeling of discomfort comes to you, like you’re not supposed to be here. People in Willow Creek usually don’t go near it because of the suspicious disappearances that happened in the neighborhood. Is it haunted? What is this place? And no one, NO ONE, wants to find themselves alone with one of the members of the Alston family. They don’t seem to age.

Last night I couldn’t sleep, so I just started building an abandoned castle for no reason.

I think I’ve started this build like two years ago, and ended up spending so much time on it that I kinda hate it now... and love it at the same time. I know it doesn’t make much sense. I would love to finish it, though. The build is inspired by the tree house in Adventure Time (obviously) and I’ve created a household of teens and kids for it that I love. I really hope I’ll be able to share all of that with you one day... 🥺

Since the game won’t let me share my finished builds for Willow Creek on the gallery (I get infinite loading screens when I try) and I don’t want my save file to get corrupted while finishing it, I’m just spending time in StrangerVille again. I might have started five builds in 7 days... Am I okay?

After taking a few days to rest, Myrtle went back to see Maggie at the shop. She had also worked on the spores data and said she would be able to help Myrtle with her mission. When Myrtle arrived, Maggie seemed ecstatic. “I knew it, Myrtle! I knew something happened to Mr. PeePaw at the crater! They’re all involved: the scientists, the military, the government! ALL OF THEM! I analyzed the data you sent me, and something is definitely wrong with the plants in StrangerVille. But there’s a source, something bigger. I’m sure of it, and it’s probably what’s hidden in the lab... I worked on an old hazmat suit that I found at the abandoned military base down south. It should protect you so you don’t get infected when you go down there. Be careful, Myrtle. It's likely to be worse than everything we can imagine right now.” Well, that was it. Myrtle was ready to go. She would have to open the door and look for the source of the infection... She didn’t want to, but what choice did she have? The fate of the people of StrangerVille depended on her.

Main Aspiration: StrangerVille Mystery

Myrtle was exhausted but she had to finish what she started. After days or research, she could see things more clearly. The data she collected from the spores had helped her a lot in her findings. She was able to analyze it with one of the old machines at the lab. Even if she couldn’t fully understand the readings, she was now sure that something was indeed hidden there, in the lab, deep... deep down. Just beyond the door she never dared to open, the one behind her. In the center of the building, buried in the underground, some type of phenomenon was causing all of it. She now knew for a fact that the spores were highly contagious, so going there without protection was not an option if she didn’t want to lose her mind. Maggie would probably be able to help her with that... Things were getting really scary. Maybe they had been from the start, but Myrtle didn’t fully realize it at the time, or accept it. And now, it was too late to back down.
