Apparently my director went to see a production of West Side Story a few years ago, and the guy playing Chino forgot his gun before coming out for his final scene. Once it got to the big scene where he is supposed to shoot Tony, he screeched “Poison Boots” and kicked the actor playing Tony until he went down. The girl playing Maria then had to jerk the shoe off of Chino’s foot, and had to do the gunshot scene asking “How many kicks Chino? How many kicks, and one kick left for me”.

I've found that many nerd cons but especially anime cons will let in bento boxes. They don't usually ask you to open them up and they assume you just bought them in the vendor hall.

Bring your own bottled water to a con!

Many con vending machines and food kiosks can sell bottled water at high prices. However, many drugstores and grocery stores sell bottled water for as low as under a dollar! You could also bottle and bring your own water for free.
