Her heart was pounding.

Niki was in a lovely dress- she’d made it herself, lovingly hand stitched it with carefully matched thread, picked out the fabric and lace and patterns like she’d done months ago with her own uniform- and she could see them dancing and her heart, against her will, was still pounding. 

Biting her lip, she looked for Jack, but no! He could be hidden somewhere, tucked behind a table or in a corner, but chances were he wouldn’t be showing up. She was alone for this one. 

He wasn’t here, but she still heard a little, strangely similar voice inside her head, muttering just fucking go in, niki, get it over with.

“Right,” she whispered, squaring her shoulders and letting herself recheck the knife strapped to her leg one more time. “Just go in.” 

And, with a final nod, in she went.

It's the most wonderful time of the year...

You are formally invited to the first Winter Gala of the Dream SMP, a roleplay event organized by @hypixelsblade! This roleplay event isn't limited to only canon characters, so please feel free to bring your OCs! The event's timeline will run from December 11th to December 25th, 2021. This means that there will be plenty of time to write fluff, angst, and perhaps... even romance?

The theme of the gala itself will be formal wear with classical music playing in the background - classic, timeless, and easy to imagine. Feel free to draw your character in their outfit or post the outfit your character will be wearing! I'll be tracking the tag #DSMPRPWinterGala21 and reblogging your posts before and during the event. Furthermore, I'll be attempting to post a prompt list some time before the event starts & sending asks throughout the event, so please don't be concerned if you're worried about not having ideas.

I’ve been trying to find time to catch you and finally now I’ve had the chance. Whew, does it feel like a relief. I was wondering if maybe — just maybe — you would be open to having a new friend (that friend being me)?

My name is Advena, by the way. You probably haven’t seen me around as I have been spending all of my time in the arctic for the past… er…. year or so…? of my days there? Loneliness gets too much sometimes so I’ve came to meet everyone at last. New faces seems to cure me.
