“Thank you Doctor Lehnsherr..”

Charles Xavier x Erik Lehnsherr

Synopsis: Erik is a doctor at a hospital when a man comes in with a broken wrist. This will be the first time Erik and Charles meet out of the many times Charles comes back to the hospital for.

“Lehnsherr, you got someone in room 2441 with a broken wrist. Examine it please I’m going on break.” Emma says to him. Erik was about to go home, just finishing his shift. “Emma please this isn’t on my time.” “Nor is it on mine. Now go.” She said to him and he rolled his eyes going on his way.

This patient whomever they may be, better have a pretty damn bad broken wrist for him to go and work when he already finished HIS shift. “Hello I’m Doctor Erik Lehnsherr. I will be the one helping you today. What seems to be the problem…” he pauses and reads the name off of the clipboard “Mr. Xavier..” “Please just call me Charles.. uhm I was at work when I helped one of my coworkers carry something heavy and…this happened..” The man said. He had a soothing English accent that was calling towards Erik. “Ah well let me examine it..”

He had taken his hand gently, touching his wrist.. Charles making a sound of pain in doing so. “S-Sorry..” he said. “Please don’t apologize, it’s alright. It must hurt a lot..” “Yes but uhm..continue sorry.” Erik only nodded and continued examining his arm. “So Charles.. it seems you’ll be needing a cast..nothing too extreme.. keep off of holding heavy things. It should heal quickly..”

He came back from grabbing the supplies and starting working on Charles’ arm. “And you are done.. Come back in about 3-4 weeks to get it removed.. remember no picking up heavy objects and be careful with arm positions..” “Ah alrighty then. Thank you so much Doctor Lehnsherr.” He only nodded back at the man and got out of that room before even Charles. He was ready and done to go home.

Weeks pass by and Charles comes back in again. A few different times too for many other things. “Oh sorry I think I may have sprained my ankle.” “It’s only a cramp in your leg Charles..” “Ah I’m so sorry to have spent your time Doctor Lehnsherr.” “No problem at all.” He’d smile back at him. And just like that little occurrences happened.

“Sorry!” Erik bumped into someone. “It’s quite alright.” A man said. “Charles.?” “Oh Doctor Lehnsherr hello..” “You have something else aching?” Laughs softly. “No actually I came here to drop off some food for my sister. She works here.” “You have a sister? What’s her name maybe we work in the same floor.” “Uh Raven..” “Ah yes Miss Darkholme. She’s a wonderful nurse for being so young.” “Haha yes..well I must be on my way now. Very nice seeing you Doctor Lehnsherr.” “Erik…call me Erik..” “Alright then Erik.” And the shorter man left with a smile.

Finally the week of taking his cast off came and Erik was the lucky one to take it off. “Charles, great to see you.” “Likewise Erik..” he smiles softly. He finally takes the cast off and Charles is just about to leave when.. “Charles..may I ask..? Are you seeing anyone?” “No I’m not hah. Why?” “I know this is very unprofessional but would you perhaps like to grab coffee or dinner with me sometime..?” “Dinner and coffee are two different things Doctor…but yes of course. Either of those is fine..” “Ah well perfect..you already have my information so..until then?“ “Until then.” He stood up, smiled, and that was the true start of Charles and Erik’s relationship.

“I still find it funny how you asked me out on a date in a hospital.. while working!” Charles laughs as he lays his head on Erik’s chest. Laying in their bedroom from the flat they had just moved into. “Well look at us now Charles.. and you still break that wrist of yours every now and then.” He smiles and laughs. “You are an asshole…” “But you love me.” “Of course I do..Doctor Lehnsherr.” And that night was a longggg night after that statement.

You are in your bedroom. It’s 3:15 a.m at this point, you should’ve been asleep hours ago. But how could you with everything that just happened. You were at a party your friends had invited you to, you knew your boyfriend Eli now called Hawk was there. You were a fool to go that party, you should’ve just stayed home like you always do. You went to where your friend had said he was. ... Him and some girl were there. Kissing. In that moment you froze and it was even worse when they pulled away and he had stared right at your direction realizing you had seen it. Regret. Regret pulsed through your body, goosebumps running down your arms and legs leaving you in hurt and shock. “Y/n I-l” “Save it.” That’s all that was said that night.

“Don't you know I'm not your ghost anymore? You lost the love I loved the most”

You felt sick to your stomach. Those blue eyes had turned icy and cold. You were there for him since day one and yet you’d become a ghost from his past. He pushed aside his best friend months ago and now it was your turn too. Once he became Hawk he didn’t want any sign of his past, his ego was too high for that now. You’re screaming into your pillows, bawling your eyes out. You had a headache from all those tears. You’d done everything you could for that relationship to strive, he was your best friend and the love of your life. And now he’d lost that love he’d gotten from you. It was a Friday and you’d have to get up for school in a few hours. You weren’t going to go that day, you didn’t want too and you didn’t have too. You fell asleep in your pool of tears, wallowing in the sorrows of those events.

It was now around 1:30 p.m. You were blasted with texts from your friends some were from Sam asking if you were okay, a few from Miguel, and Demetri had even called you but you didn’t answer. It wasn’t their business, you felt weak.numb. You turned to hate someone you once loved and it was hurting. You had gotten a call from him then, you looked at the caller Id name. Glaring at those words you’d have there ‘my one and only’ you scoffed reading it. You answered him with a nasty spiteful feeling in your body. “Y/n why didn’t you come today. Listen I want to apologize about last night it’s not what it looked like I swear.” “No. You don’t get to apologize, you are an asshole and I’m an idiot for even staying with your stupid ass. I-I never want you to speak to me again. I feel like I’m living half alive right now, so you don’t get the right to want me one more time!” You screamed. It felt like venom coming out of your throat spilling those words out. You hung up after that. You didn’t deserve this.

It’s Sunday afternoon and you’re busy buying some stuff. You felt a bit better but you were still hurting and that wouldn’t change anytime soon. You were with Sam and Moon buying some swimsuits for hanging out at Sam’s house. “Y/n it’s hard I know it must be.” Sam said to you. “It’s whatever, I didn’t expect that from him but hey we are in High School right?” You said smiling sadly looking back at the rack of bathing suits. You heard Sam and Moon whispering in back of you and soon stopped to talk to you. “Hey uhm I think there is some more stuff over here.” They said trying to usher you away. “What but I was looking at those-“ You said until you heard a voice near you that your recognized. You turned around to see him. You were paused there in shock and pain coming over you. That’s when he saw you there too. “Y/n....” He said going up towards you. You had left your stuff with Sam and ran out. “Y/n! Wait please!” He said going after you. You finally got into the parking lot when you felt a grip on your wrist. “Leave me alone please...” you said to him. Pain going through you. You couldn’t look at him. Not after what he did. “Y/n I’m so sorry please believe me. She came on to me, I was waiting for you please...” he said looking at you. “That’s a lie. Who do you think you are, running around leaving scars.” You say to him. A shake in your tone as you spoke those words. “Please I love you Y/n you are my everything.” “Yeah well that wasn’t the case when your hands were on that girls ass huh?” You said to him. “Listen don’t come back for me... I know your little cute Hawk persona is working out for you so I have to be written off too, I’m not an idiot.” You told him. “I know I’m an idiot and I know you hate me. You should hate me... but I never wanted to kiss her I swear to you that.” He told you.

You started crying. You didn’t want to be vulnerable in front of him you really didn’t. But as everything runs through your mind you can’t help but cry. And it starts of low, then into a hitch, and from that bawling and hurt passing through you. You punched his chest, screaming. “I HATE YOU. I HATE YOU. I HATE YOU.-��� You continued slowly, slowing down and putting your hands to your face. He holds you, pulling you into a hug. “I’m so sorry Y/n I’m so sorry... you are my everything trust me. I’ll never let that happen again, I didn’t want that to happen I swear to you. You’ve went through so much just for me and this is how I repay you. I hated what happened that night and I swear I didn’t want to kiss her. I love you and only you.” He says to you holding you tight. You felt his tears slowly come in too. You hated whenever Eli would cry, you felt so bad for him because he would be made fun of. “I...Eli please don’t c-cry...” “I’m sorry, I missed you Y/n..” “I missed you too. Just know that it’s going to take me a while to forgive you but... I just I want you to know I do love you.” You say to him sighing. “And I love you too, also I understand. I promise I’ll make myself trustworthy again, okay?” He says to you. You nod and hug him. “Now I’m gonna head back instead so I don’t ruin your ego.” You say to him. “You’d never do that, you’re too cool babe.” He smirked happily and you both went back inside.
