Hello latinandlattes !! I just wanted to let you know that I love your blog and it’s aesthetic✨ also it might be a bit late but congratulations on becoming a T.A. 🎊 Also may I ask a question? Which app do you generally use for picture editing? You may not share if you don’t wish to .. anyways , keep up the good work 🙌🏽
Lots of love from Pakistan 🇵🇰
Aw thank you, you're so sweet! I use Lightroom, both on desktop and the app. I bought some presets a long time ago and can't remember who made them (sorry!), so I usually just put on one of those and slightly adjust the lighting and colours to my preference.
If you're not goo with photo software and don't have the time to play around with it, I recommend finding some presets you like, or watching a video on how to create a preset. It really cuts down on editing time, especially during a busy semester.
I hope this helps!

2021.05.24 || Here’s an old picture of my set up from last semester. Now that summer has arrived, I don’t have much studying going on anymore, so I’m not quite sure what to talk about on this page. I graduated this month, so I’m officially in transition mode as I look forward to starting my graduate degree in the fall!
Restrictions in my area have ramped up again and this time I’m not allowed to see anyone outside of my household, neither indoors nor outdoors. This means that for the next two weeks, you’ll find me at the park, reading underneath a tree alone, or at my desk, preparing for my language exams in September.

this year is a pretty important one for my future. hopefully, we'll all be happy, safe and healthy throughout.
the book i am reading features essays from some of of my absolute favorite individuals, and speaks about the necessity of dissent. truly important in today's times.

march 04, 2021 ♡
Hey beautiful people! It’s been a while, but wow I can’t believe it’s March already which means it’s basically a year since we’ve been quarantined. It’s crazy. For some quick life updates, I’m still currently reading abt the Roman emperors and it’s so interesting; I’ve gotten quite far with it and, omg, I love it. It’s insane to think that they were once walking on this planet and there’s actual evidence for it. I also found a book all abt the influences of the classical world in Game of Thrones! It’s also super interesting. On a different note, I can’t believe the last episode for WandaVision is on Friday like aaaah, it’s been so good! I surely will miss it and all the crazy theories.
Also, my love for Italian is still as strong as ever and I’ve been studying a little bit everyday. It’s such a beautiful language. By the way, I’ve developed quite a fascination for Latin and I might be taking some classes for it in university. Long story short, I watched a video of how ancient languages would’ve sounded like, was completely captivated when Ancient Rome came up, read some reasons why I should study Latin, realized they aligned with my goals, and the rest is history. Also, I think I’ve settled on what I wanna study in university (taking into account majors and minors) after much reflection and organization, but we shall continue to see how it goes. I hope March will be kind to all of us!! 🤍✨

21.01.24 || New year, same old me with the pics from my study abroad two years ago. Where does the time go?
Term started late this year due to covid, but classes finally started last week. I’m taking three language courses and am in absolute heaven right now. I feel like I finally have the time to focus on the smallest details of Greek and Latin and can nerd out over grammar constructions with my professors. Maybe teaching a language is my true calling, since I’m at my happiest in a language class.
Also lerne ich Deutsch und lese Der Kleine Prinz. Wo sind die Deutschsprache studyblrs?
