Y'all ever get back from vacation and need a vacation to de-stress from your vacation?
I loved seeing all our friends and going to Universal Studios was super fun but the one unfortunate part was the food. Everywhere we ate (save for Three Broomsticks, that place was good) was SOOOOO subpar. And expensive. 😭 We got home and I made spaghetti with garlic knots and honestly that was so much better than 90% of the food we had there. AND I COULDN'T FIND FUNNEL CAKES. WHAT KIND OOF AMUSEMENT PARK DOESN'T HAVE FUNNEL CAKES???
Anyway, I'm up to 135 lbs now after that little trip, my sleep schedule is wayyy off, and I'm hungry constantly lol
Here's hoping I can just drink a shit ton of water (catch me very dehydrated lol) and get rid of the bloat since my body will hopefully chill with the water retention.
I made chili too, but I don't want chili or spaghetti for lunch, so I'm gonna go figure out something to eat cuz my snack of grapes isn't doing enough. Bye!!

No gym this past week, and I haven't been logging my food. In the past 8 days, I've worked 6 of them doing 12 hour shifts due to staffing issues. I'm exhausted, but I'm ready for my paycheck next week lol

My husband got a massage gun for Christmas and I am so happy about it because I'm soreeee.
I really wasn't that sore before the gym so I think my soreness was from today's workout. Today was cardio.

And I am tired. I made a bomb ass Tuscan Chicken Pasta in my pressure cooker; I didn't eat a meal but I took a bit of it to try it and it was soooo good. I also made some corn dip that my mom made for me when I was visiting. I did eat some of that.

Happy New Year!
I hope all you lovely people made it through the holiday season in good mental health and have come out the other side feeling like everything's gone be ok ❤️
Tonight was my first time back at the gym since the 8th of December and my butt hurts now and it feels good. I kept trying to remember to post my food log, but I'd always just forget by the end of the day (and I didn't log during the time we were visiting family) sooooo happy first post back, yayyy!

For supper I made cheesy chicken and rice, which is something my husband has been requesting for a while but I've never made before. I overcooked it on accident so the rice is mushy lmfao 😅 Hopefully he can tolerate it because I made 6 servings and lort knows I cannot eat the same thing 6 times in a week without hating myself.
There were not really any new people at the gym, which I expected like maybe 1 or 2 (I go at 2am so it's not heavily populated anyway, but there are still a few folks there) so I was pretty surprised by that. Also I think I wrote in my planner that I was supposed to do cardio today but I just got too excited to lift so hopefully I won't be too sore tomorrow so I can do cardio then 😅

Another thing I did today was update my health review questionnaire through my workplace's health incentive program. I found out I lost 16.5 lbs since last year's questionnaire, which I'm pretty excited about. I know it's not a ton of weight and I could've lost more but the fact that I haven't regained anything is all I care about. I was 146.6 lbs when I took that quiz last, and now I'm sitting right around 130. I think I'd maybe like to lose a couple more pounds BUT I also lost muscle definition after being out of the gym for a month, so we'll see how I feel once I've got the definition back how it was before. Either way I've been eating more food recently than I was when I was actively trying to lose weight and I can't cut down to the calories I had before because I've been so hungry lately. So instead I'm eating around my maintenance calories and am just working out a little more, making sure I get my steps in as well as getting my ass to the gym. If I lose weight, great! If I don't and I just see a change in my muscles, great! I'm really trying to focus on how I feel after eating and how long it takes me to get hungry again so I can find out what works best for me at my current status.

Goooood Morning Lovelies ✨
I slept for 11 hours straight yesterday and it was phenomenal. Then I sat around the house and did next to nothing until just before midnight when I realized I still needed to get ~1500 steps in, so I hopped up off the couch and started walking in place.

Yooooo yesterday was weigh in Wednesday and I didn't even realize it was a Wednesday.
Sooooo y'all get the much less alliterated weigh in Thursday of 132.0 lbs.
I hit the gym late last night/early this morning for a cardio day.
Walking/Jogging: 0.25/3.0/1.0/5:00, 1.0/6.0/1.0/10:00, 0.25/3.0/1.0/5:00, 0.5/6.0/1.0/5:00, 0.25/3.0/1.0/5:00
So that ended up being a mile and a half of jogging, for a total of 2.25 miles in 30:00.
I cooked up some firecracker meatballs for meal prep and my post workout meal. (Not sponsored, I don't even order Hello Fresh anymore because they're too expensive. I just remake the recipes that I like from the recipes cards I kept). It's a lot lower calorie when I make it with ingredients I buy because I can choose lower calorie options (like leaner ground beef and light mayo) compared to what they send in their boxes. Mine was over 200 calories lower than their version, and mine has more green beans.

I got breakfast with my coworkers after our shift so those were extra calories I hadn't planned for (and technically should've gone on the food log from the day before but I put them on this one hoping my gym session would've covered the calories lolll) but that's ok because I can't just not enjoy my life, that's a very unsustainable way to lose weight and would just result in me gaining the weight back once I got to my goal.
I'm planning on cooking some Korean BBQ beef burritos tonight, once I wake up enough to clean the mess I made in the kitchen last night 😅
Gym session tonight will be weight lifting, and I've just gotten over the soreness from last time. I noticed I haven't been working my inner/outer thighs when I'm lifting, so I'm gonna lookup some exercises that target those muscles because I don't want to neglect them.

I just finished my 1st meal and I'm stuffed. Thanksgiving leftovers are the best 😂
I sat down yesterday and planned out my workouts and meals for next month so I have less of a reason to not go to the gym/not cook. It's not as intense as I've been in the past but I think that'll just make me more likely to stick with it. My weight has plateaued because I haven't been sticking to my calorie goal or workouts very well. Fingers crossed that sticking with this will get me down into the 120s by the end of the year 🤞🏻

I can't believe it's almost December. I'm going to have to figure out presents for people soon. I'll also be seeing my family for the first time in over a year so I really want to hit my goal weight by then.
I'm pretty sure I was 135 lbs on Wednesday? I've been overeating and I don't know why. I'm back on track today but damn I was at like 2300-2500 cals the last few days (I'm guessing because I was too lazy to track, so I ended up just inputting what I remembered. That range is above what I tracked because I know I forgot stuff)
I also hadn't cooked in several days and was being soooo lazy. So I cooked yesterday morning finally but I need to cook again tonight so I have food for work on Sunday. It was tasty though 😊
I rushed to pack my lunch today so I ended up buying some retail mix from the caf to hit my protein goal without going over on my calories.

Hello Lovelies ✨
Today was a bit of a rest/LISS cardio day for me. I wanted to lift weights but I'm sore and I've been doing total body lifting days instead of upper/lower focused days, and so there are no muscles that I can work that aren't needing to recover right now.
So I walked!

And then I went home. And now I'm eating a taco bowl. I've got a lot of calories left for the day (I made a delicious chili earlier that was surprisingly low calorie!) soooo I think I'm gonna eat some seasonal-not-zebra-cake-zebra-cakes that I picked up at Aldi. Those things are my weakness so I'm very excited that I've got the calories to eat a whole package instead of just eating 1/2 the package 😁

I also cleaned my wedding ring today! One of the Facebook groups I'm in posted a really nasty ring (out of the sonic bath, which dislodged all the nastiness) and a few jewelers commented and said if you can't get your ring to a jeweler to get it cleaned, you can clean it yourself at home. Boil some water, add "a lot" of dish soap, and soak your ring for a bit. Then use an extra soft bristled toothbrush (I grabbed one meant for little kids) and scrub the ring. It got my ring much shinier than it was before so that's something I'm gonna start doing more frequently 😊

I haven't posted in a hot minute and I totally missed posting last Weigh in Wednesday but I did weigh myself and I was 134.4 lbs. It was the first weigh in after Halloween weekend when I ate so much good food hahaha
I won't forget to post a weigh in this week, I promise!! I'm off work so I don't have to sprint out the door like I did last time.
I just got back from the gym and I can already tell my legs are gonna hurt like a bitch tomorrow 😩

Hi I know I missed weigh in Wednesday but that's because I was tired and my house was cold and we had been without power for 7.5 hours and I had to go to work.
So anyway, today I weighed in at 132.6 lbs! I'm still tired and cold and have to go to work but my cat convinced me to get out of bed a little earlier today.
I went to the gym 3 days ago and I'm finally feeling not sore again, just in time to go again tomorrow night. I'm not following a lifting routine at the moment because all the ones I like want me in the gym for over an hour and I don't want to make that big of a time commitment so I'm making my own routine. I think tomorrow I will do cardio on the treadmill and maybe a little bit of arm/chest work.

Weigh in Wednesday!
Sorry I haven't been posting. I don't have an excuse, I just haven't been doing it. I weighed in today at 133.6 lbs! So we're headed downward, which is exciting!
First up we've got weekly calories. My "budget" is set at 1409 per day, but it adds calories back based on exercise. Because I've already factored in my exercise when calculating my deficit, I don't eat all of those calories back. I'm not worried about eating above the 1409 as long as I am at or below maintenance because I want slow, sustainable weight loss, and if I need to eat more one day, then I do. I want to avoid binging and in the past when I haven't allowed myself to eat over my budget I've binged after about a week, and that ruins my progress. So, the added exercise calories are why it says I was so far below the weekly budget.

Next up is my steps. My husband and I went on a double date on Saturday to the movies, and then his stepmom came to town, so I wasn't focused on my step goal and the day got away from me, so I ended up walking just under 5,000 steps that day instead of my goal of 10,000. Because I moved less, I wasn't as hungry, and I ended up coming in slightly under my calorie goal, which I feel like made up for the lack of walking.

I can officially fit into a pair of white skinny jeans that I haven't worn in a couple years, however I don't fit comfortably yet so that's the next NSV goal!

Hi hello I didn't post my weight yesterday because I was super groggy and barely had time to get my lunch packed BUT I did weigh in when I woke up!
Current weight: 135.6 lbs
I've gone up a little bit from before vacation, but I am also on my period and bloated so maybe it's water weight 🤷🏼‍♀️😅
Lose It is projecting that I'll hit my goal weight on November 25th, which is like a month and a half away and that's awesome so I'm gonna work hard to reach that 😊

Hello Lovelies ✨
I want to start doing weigh in Wednesdays. It feels like a more accurate day of the week because I'm less likely to be bloated from any alcohol or takeout I may have had over the weekend. So, later today after I wake up (night shift lifeeee) I'm gonna weigh in. It'll probably be a short post but whatever.
I cooked a lot of food today, I made chicken tikka masala, cooked a thing of bacon for BLT's, and cooked some chicken alfredo that I added a little bit of bacon to. On Monday I made cupcakes and I need to remember to bring some in to work tonight to get them out of my house so I'm not tempted to eat them all 😅
