I owe you guys some posts for stuff I’ve watched during quarantine. I’ll do that.... When I feel up to it and have some time. Probably after the new year, but we’ll see. Thank you for visiting my blog, it really does make me happy that people are enjoying stuff I posted. I hope you all stay safe and healthy. Happy holidays!

Anime name: Beastars
Genre(s): Comedy-drama, romance, mystery, thriller
Lauren’s Like Rating: 10/10 (It was very intriguing! I can’t wait to see what happens next season! I’m a little rusty with writing these, but I tried to keep it spoiler free.)
Character (s): Legoshi, Haru
Legoshi is a gray wolf who feels conflicted about being a carnivore and wills himself act mild and quiet, wishing to completely suppress his more aggressive traits and instincts that scare herbivores so they can be more comfortable around him. He cares a lot about others, being willing to put himself in danger without being asked to in order to protect other people. He’s a member of the Drama club, but he prefers being a crew member in the background and watching the other members perform. Everything gets a lot more complicated for him the day he experiences his hunting instinct for the first time.
Haru is a dwarf rabbit and sole member of Cherryton’s gardening club. She has a bad reputation of sleeping around and is bullied for it. She doesn’t care, she just picks herself up and keeps going, not even being bothered by being treated as an outcast. Anime name: Paprika
Genre(s): Fantasy, Mystery, thriller, Sci-fi, drama (according to Bing)
Lauren’s Like Rating: 10/10 (This movie is incredible! If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly suggest you do yourself a favor and watch it. It does have some disturbing images and themes, but if you can handle it, it’s worth it. The animation is mind-blowing, especially combined with the surreal theme of dreams.)
Character (s): Paprika, Doctor Kosaku Tokita,  Doctor Torataro Shima, Doctor Atsuko Chiba
Paprika, the bubbly, energetic alter ego of Atsuko Chiba, is brave and adventurous. She is willing to go into the unknown within peoples’ dreams to try to give them therapy, and when the DC Mini is stolen, she valiantly does all she can to try to unravel the mystery and save everyone.
Doctor Kosaku Tokita is a young at heart genius who invented the DC Mini to revolutionize dream analysis therapy by allowing a therapist to directly enter and interact with a patent’s dreams. Unfortunately, as the DC Mini was still in the prototype stage, he neglected to put user restrictions on it. He loves to eat and has a crush on Chiba.
Doctor Torataro Shima is the chief of staff at Institute for Psychiatric Research, the hospital where Chiba and Tokita work. He is friendly, outgoing, and hard working.
Doctor Atsuko Chiba is a psychiatrist at the Institute for Psychiatric Research. Using the DC Mini she gives therapy to her patients. Unlike Paprika, she is  usually serious and cold.

Anime name: Mary and the Witch’s Flower
Genre(s): Fantasy
Lauren’s Like Rating: 8/10 (I had mixed feelings throughout this movie. I felt like I was watching a rip-off of Studio Ghibli to some extent, as the movie not only looked a lot like Miyazaki’s style, but the flow reminded me of his movies as well. That being said though, it was an enjoyable watch and had its own merit, it just wasn’t anything super special. I felt like the main character, Mary, was a bit flat and almost annoying at times. The artwork was stunning, and I’m adding some bonus pictures for appreciation. TL;DR I enjoyed it but I don’t think it was very memorable.)
Character (s): Peter, Charlotte
Peter is a boy who lives in the town near Mary and Charlotte’s house. He really wants to support his mother and even wouldn’t mind being turned into an adult if he could do more for her. He’s very brave and despite his teasing, he cares about Mary and would even be willing to sacrifice himself if needed for her.
Charlotte is Mary’s great-aunt who takes care of her while they wait for her parents to move in with them. She loves her great-niece and in general is a kind and caring woman.

Anime name: Your Name. (also known as Kimi no Na wa.)
Genre(s): Romance, Drama, Fantasy
Lauren’s Like Rating: 10/10 (What a wonderful movie! I enjoyed every minute of it. The story captivated me and the animation is beautiful to behold.)
Character (s): Taki Tachibana, Mitsuha Miyamizu
Taki Tachibana is a student in Tokyo with the dream of being an architect. He is kind and earnest, but quick to fight because of his temper. He spends his time at his part time job as a waiter, having a crush on his coworker, and hanging out with his friends. His easygoing nature makes body switching less hard on him, but it leaves Mitsuha’s friends and sister feeling very confused.
Mitsuha Miyamizu is a small town girl living in Itomori surrounded by mountains. She wishes she could live in Tokyo, preferably as a boy so she wouldn’t have to live up to her family’s expectations of having to be the daughter of the mayor and being a Miko, complete with being embarrassed by classmates being grossed out by her participation in the ritual of making traditional kuchikamizake. She is very embarrassed by being in Taki’s body and worries about him groping her body.

Anime name: Forest of Piano (also known as Piano no Mori: The Perfect World of Kai)
Genre(s): Drama
Lauren’s Like Rating: 6/10 (I was excited for the beginning of this anime, but after awhile, especially after the timeskip, it felt repetitive and uninteresting to me, the formula being- Kai and various other people play piano, corrupt judges in whatever competition, people being impressed by Kai, Amamiya is jealous of Kai, rinse and repeat. Maybe this would have been more enjoyable if I was a lot more familiar with the pieces or if I could play an instrument but by the end of the first season I wasn’t feeling much of anything besides boredom aside from interest in a few flashbacks to Kai’s tragic backstory and liking a couple side characters. I only saw season 1, as that was all I had access to, but I just read that a season 2 came out earlier this year. I’m probably not going to bother watching any additional episodes, but we’ll see. I feel like there was wasted potential here, some parts nicely executed while others felt lacking in substance.)
Character (s): Kai Ichinose, Reiko Ichinose, Daiki, Karol Adamski, Lech Szymanowski
*mild spoiler warning*
Kai Ichinose is a positive and determined boy who cherishes the piano he found in the forest outside his window and claimed as his. He’s the only person who can make music with this piano, and because of having it he fell in love with music at young age. At first this is enough for him, being able to memorize any piece he hears just once and playing it perfectly alone in the forest, but then he comes to find there is so much more he can learn and do, and with the help of his music teacher pursues playing the piano for audiences.
Reiko “Rei” Ichinose is Kai’s mother. She was born and raised in the red light district, and works as a prostitute. She loves Kai more than anything and truly treasures and supports him, though her tendency to cry happy tears whenever he does something embarrasses him. She wants for him to escape the red light district and follow his dreams, despite opposition from her landlord/employer, a woman who torments Kai and forces him to work in her bar in order for he and his mother to live there.
Daiki is a young boy who takes piano lessons from Kai after the timeskip. He and the song he’s writing inspires Amamiya to look at piano a different way, and he decides Amamiya is his apprentice.
Karol Adamski is a famous pianist and one of the competitors in the International Chopin Competition in Poland. He gives assistance and friendly advice to Amamiya when he collapses from anxiety. He is extremely popular and some say he is the reincarnation of Chopin. He frequently performs in various competitions and on TV.
Lech Szymanowski is the grandson Dimitri Szymanowski, who was a famous pianist. He is one of the competitors in the International Chopin Competition in Poland, though he said he barely passed the preliminaries. He is also the self-proclaimed guardian spirit of Chopin’s Forest and easily befriends Kai.

Hentai name: Dropout
Genre(s): Hentai (Adults only)
Lauren’s Like Rating: 8/10 (I liked the story and wanted to learn more, but I did not like a lot of the sexual content. The basic concept is high achieving students earn having someone to take care of their sexual needs so long as they keep their grades up, with the intention that this would provide jobs for people who could not otherwise contribute to society and that the dropouts could instead help boost the productivity of others. I think about Reika and her decisions from time to time, there’s actually some wisdom in the meaning of her choice.)
Character (s): Reika Shichijo, Niimi-kun
*****Spoiler warning!*****
Reika Shichijo was one of the top students at her school and destined to go to a prestigious university, that is, until she decided to refuse to take the exam. Sick of the pressure she had been under for her whole life, she decided to instead become a sexual servant so that she could live worry free and without anyone’s expectations. This is the life of someone who becomes a dropout, and she chose it. I think she is a surprisingly relatable character, considering this is a hentai. She is so intelligent and had had her whole life planned and forced on her her whole life, as well-achieving as she was, it wasn’t for herself, that kind of life can feel like a prison. By choosing to drop out she refused her prison and chose what for her would be freedom, the freedom to live her life for herself.
Niimi-kun is the classmate who Reika is assigned to. Niimi is at first confused, shocked, and horrified that his dear crush Reika had become a dropout and was shy about using her services. When Reika said she would end her assignment to him and become public use if he continued to try to convince her to reconsider her choices, he chose to support her and get into the role she wished from him. I personally believe this is out of love.

Anime name: Doukyuusei (2016) (also known as “Doukyusei” or “Classmates”)
Genre(s): Romance
Lauren’s Like Rating: 9/10 (It was nice and understated, while feeling sincere and sweet. Definitely a worthwhile movie to see.)
Character (s): Hikaru Kusakabe, Licht Sajo
*****Spoiler warning!******
Hikaru Kusakabe is a guitar player in a band who is popular with the ladies. He tends to be much more straightforward with his words and actions than Sajo. He realizes he’s in love, but Sajo’s hesitation and inclination to push him away hurt him. His love and determination keep him going.
Licht Sajo is a shy honor student who starts talking with Kusakabe, his classmate, when the latter offers him singing lessons for a school chorus festival. He’s very hesitant and easily flustered, but he slowly accepts that he is in love with Kusakabe, and that his love is reciprocated.

Anime name: Hi Score Girl
Genre(s): Romantic Comedy
Lauren’s Like Rating: 8/10 (At first I flat out disliked this series because of the art style and characters, but it really grew on me. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next if more episodes are made, and if so, it’s likely I’ll raise my rating again, it already went up a point after the 3 episodes added since I first wrote this post.)
Character (s): Haruo Yaguchi, Kotaro Miyao, Makoto Ono
Haruo Yaguchi has only one passion in life: gaming. He spends all his free time in the arcades and anywhere he can find a game. He is surprised and at first horrified to discover that popular girl Akira from his class not only plays in ‘his’ arcades, but she’s also easily as talented as he is. He slowly loses some of his arrogance and bonds with her over their shared passion for gaming. He’s actually a caring guy (towards one person in particular), despite his arrogance and obliviousness.
Kotaru Miyao has been Haruo’s best (guy) friend since middle school. He’s much more popular with girls than his friend, and more aware of peoples’ feelings, as he notices the love triangle Haruo is oblivious about being in. He also enjoys arcades, though not as much as Haruo. He tries to help Haruo and gives him good advice.
*Spoiler warning ahead*
Makoto Ono is Akira’s older and wilder sister. She rebelled when she was younger and her duties as family heir were dumped on Akira, who also wound up with even worse rules as a result of Makoto’s actions. As a result, Makoto does whatever she can to help and improve things for Akira. She can clearly see how much Haruo and her sister love each other and teams up with him to help Akira. She also likes games, as she was playing Mahjong when she met Haruo.

Anime name: Back Street Girls: Gokudolls
Genre(s): Comedy
Lauren’s Like Rating: 7/10 (This show’s premise is certainly novel, and in my opinion it was executed quite well with humorous juxtapositions of cute idols and their inner yakuza true selves. When I laughed, I laughed pretty hard, which is an accomplishment with me, but I wound up empathizing with the main characters too much, and I say this because I wound up just feeling bad for them most of the time. These negative feelings got in the way of me really letting myself get to know the characters. I was cringing for them as their horror-show lives were being decided by such a cruel and evil man. I would watch more episodes if they come out, but I’m likely to keep feeling more bitter than sweet.)
Character (s): Airi/Kentarou Yamamoto, Chika/Kazuhiko Sugihara, Mari/Ryou Tachibana
Kentarou Yamamoto, Kazuhiko Sugihara, and Ryou Tachibana are yakuza men who make a fatal mistake and anger their boss. They are given two options: death, or get sex change operations and make money for the yakuza as an idol group. Not wanting to die, the trio decide on what initially seems like the less terrible option, but soon come to regret it, as their lives as idols is nothing short of torture, especially due to the cruelty of their boss. Now known as Airi (leader of the idol group), Chika (the ditzy one), and Mari (the older sister type), they have gained scores of followers, who they despise for being creeps.

Anime name: Hero Mask
Genre(s): Crime, Action
Lauren’s Like Rating: 7/10 (I really enjoyed the depth of some of the characters. However, it didn’t really make me feel engaged or interested for most of the time, and the action scenes, while some were pretty cool, the rest kinda just felt messy and pointless. It was also hard to follow, and I’m not sure if it was because I couldn’t keep interest or it was just badly connected. I was going to rate it 6/10 but I gave it one more point for really liking the characters I liked, all of whom deserved more screen time and most. I was disappointed in not getting more time to see and learn about various characters, including Theo and Grimm, or even Harry, as we get a bit about who he is normally and who he has become out of necessity, but so little is said and done with characters in this series. Only part 1 is out as I write this on 3/11/19 but if more is made I would possibly watch more to see if the ever do better for the characters.)
Character (s): Harry Creighton, Harry’s Girlfriend, Edmond Chandler, Theo Lowe, Grimm
!!!Spoiler warning!!!
Harry Creighton was once a police detective, but after his girlfriend collapses, in order to pay for getting her treated, he disappears and becomes a mercenary for the LIVE corporation, who wants him to kill Mask users. This puts him at odds with his colleagues, including James Blood, whom he admires. He loves his girlfriend and affectionately teases her every chance he gets.
Harry’s girlfriend is a very upbeat and positive girl who has a loving relationship with Harry. She playfully teases him just as much as he teases her.
Edmond “Eddy” Chandler is a Sargent and a technical specialist in the SSC. He invents many useful gadgets for James, including the GPS Bullets. Over the course of the series he struggles with his perceived inadequacies, and comes to be a badass in his own way. He has a serious and by-the-book kind of mindset, but he’s also warm and caring. He allows himself to be more confident and bold, and winds up taking on missions himself in order to uncover the secrets behind the Masks.
Theo Lowe is a man who loves his family so much that he went to prison for holding doctors hostage to force them to give his dying daughter a heart transplant. He was used as a test subject for the Masks, and all he wanted to do after breaking free was to see his family again, even if it’s just for a moment. After the Mask ravages his body, he becomes an old man and as he’s about to give up, his daughter comes up to him, not knowing who he is, and befriends him. He gives her a rock for her collection before he passes peacefully, and she treasures it. The rock reminds his wife of him, as he was the one who got his daughter interested in rock collecting. He loves children and is kind to any he sees.
Grimm is an unstable serial killer who was used as a test subject for developing the Masks after supposedly dying in prison. His Mask allows him to change his face whenever he wants. He enjoys painting with his own blood (also probably his victims prior to incarceration) and wants to use James’ blood as well. He is very sadistic, reveling in tormenting and killing others.

Anime name: My My Mai (also known as My My Mai Make Me Wanna Be With You! or Sono Ki ni Sasete yo My My Mai)
Genre(s): comedy, ecchi
Lauren’s Like Rating: 10/10 (It is very retro, and as humorous as it is skimpy. Apparently some consider it a movie, while others like me watched it chopped into 2-4 oddly sized episodes, so I’m tagging it as movie and series.)
Character (s): Ben K. Shinobi, Satan, Mai Waku, Ryota, Yua
Doctor Ben K. Shinobi, also known as the Black Count, or just the Count, is an eccentric German doctor with a specialty in Eastern Medicine and Acupuncture.
Satan is a demon who possesses Kasumi, causing her to be ill. Yua the faith healer tries to defeat him, but cannot resist his attractiveness (which confuses him, as he is not at all trying to interest her.) He develops a crush on Mai after she exorcises him in an unconventional way.
Mai Waku is a counselor who also assists in supernatural matters. She has very unorthodox ways of problem-solving, but her creativity, determination, and enthusiasm get the job done, no matter how strange the problem. She is also quite quirky and her mood varies between being very modest or taking her clothes off/being sexual without any shame.
Ryota is the son of the head fisherman. He is determined to get rid of the ghosts haunting the hotel, and to that end helps Ai, Mai, and Mii.
Yua is a faith healer with a weakness for muscular men and cannot resist asking them to marry her upon her first laying eyes on them. She often claims she is about to use her ‘healing power’ but then uses guns.

Anime name: Lupin the Third: The Castle of Cagliostro
Genre(s): Action-Adventure, Comedy
Lauren’s Like Rating: 9/10 (It was a pleasure to watch, the comedic story wove interestingly and beautifully together with the gorgeous scenery and animation. This movie came out in 1979 and at times it felt very dated, which in general I enjoyed, but a couple scenes felt cheesy to me. It has been too many years since I last saw any episodes of Lupin the Third, so I can only really review this as a stand-alone story, but it felt different than I vaguely remembered, especially regarding Lupin himself. Afterwards I found out that the original author, Monkey Punch, also said Miyazaki’s interpretation is very different from his own!)
Character (s): Clarisse d'Cagliostro, Fujiko Mine, Koichi Zenigata, Arsène Lupin III
***Spoiler warning*****
Clarisse d'Cagliostro is the princess of Cagliostro. She is very kind and selfless, willing to give anything to help others. She is engaged to the nefarious Count Lazare d’Cagliostro against her will.
Fujiko Mine is a thief, con-artist, and rival/former lover of Lupin. She is very skilled at her craft and can impersonate and infiltrate impressively. She takes a liking to Clarisse after pretending to be her maid for some time.
Koichi Zenigata is an investigator with the International Police with an ongoing mission to capture Lupin.
Arsène Lupin III is a thief who is searching for the creator of some counterfeit money he stole thinking it was real. Upon seeing a familiar face, he decides to get involved in helping the princess and foiling the Count.

Anime name: Howl’s Moving Castle
Genre(s): Fantasy
Lauren’s Like Rating: 10/10 (This is one of my favorite Miyazaki movies! From what I’ve heard it is very different than the book it is based on, but I haven’t read it. I thought it was really awesome that she was given a private showing of the movie and that she liked the changes.)
Character (s): Howl, Calcifer
Howl is a cowardly wizard who is knowing for eating the hearts of pretty girls (because he is unreliable in love, enjoying only the chase.) He lives mostly as a hermit, a lifestyle he perpetuates by intentionally spreading bad rumors about himself and obscuring who he really is. Beneath the vanity and cowardice, he is a kind-hearted person who lets Markl and Sophie live with him, along with Heen and even the Witch of the Waste (and Turnip-head, kinda.) He goes out of his way to mess with both sides of the war, as he disapproves of it, and with Sophie’s support he even starts facing his problems.
Calcifer is a fire demon who works in Howl’s castle. He keeps it running, both in the sense of helping maintaining it and making it move. He doesn’t like being reduced to being a servant, but he needs help in order to break what binds him to Howl.

Anime name: Expelled From Paradise
Genre(s): Science Fiction (or perhaps science fantasy?)
Lauren’s Like Rating: 5/10 (I thought it was mostly mediocre as far as delivery, but I really liked Frontier Setter, the dandelion scene, and some of the concepts, though the ones I liked weren’t really explored much, if at all. I did not like the animation style, however. I know it was CGI, which I tend to not be a big fan of when it is obviously so, but the movements in particular bothered me, as did some of the facial expressions. It was too rubbery/plastic/unnatural feeling for my taste.)
Character (s): Frontier Setter, Dingo, Angela Balzac
*****Spoiler warning, I suggest you do not read further if you mind spoilers.*****
Frontier Setter is an artificial intelligence that achieved sentience on its own over a hundred years ago. It loves music, so much so that it creates its own extensions of songs that it likes. It also loves humans and wishes to recruit a crew for the rocket it has been building for the last hundred and fifty years. It continued building even after all the humans who worked with it died, as it feels that going into space and expanding humanities’ horizons is the meaning of its existence.
Zarik Kajiwara (real name Zarik Kajiwara) is a contact who lives on Earth, which, after a catastrophe now only has 2% of the human population who live in a relatively primitive society. He is strongly anti-establishment and a music lover. Although he has been offered citizenship in DEVA, he turns it down every time, as he doesn’t like the idea of constantly being evaluated to see how much memory he deserves, nor not being able to “feel music in [his] bones.”
Angela Balzac is a security agent for the space station DEVA, where people live virtually and without bodies, their only limit being how much memory they have, which is rationed based on how useful the person is. Shortly after conception her genes were stored and her mind was uploaded into DEVA. To get to Earth, a body was grown for her with her stored DNA, but in order to get there faster than her coworkers she stops the maturation process early, resulting in her being stuck with a teenage body. Since she has never been physical before, she doesn’t know her body’s limits or see a point in sleeping or eating for pleasure. She is very serious, competitive, and determined to continue to become higher rank in DEVA’s society.

Anime name: A.I.C.O. Incarnation
Genre(s): Science Fiction
Lauren’s Like Rating: 7/10 (It was okay. I could summarize my comments by saying that there were interesting concepts, but it was hard to follow and the English dub is so bad that even I had to switch to subtitles, and I’m very forgiving.)
Character (s): Yuya Kanzaki, Kazuki Minase, Daisuke Shinoyama, Maho Shiraishi
Yuya Kanzaki is a cold and enigmatic student who transfers to Aiko’s school. He acts strangely mature and unaffected by most of what is going on around him and knows more than he will tell. He has a greater understanding of artificial organisms than the diver team, and even has medicine and technology ready to help Aiko. He can alter the divers’ bullets as needed, even in the middle of battle. SPOILERS: He is actually Dr. Toshihide Yura, who died in the Burst incident and was put in an artificial body by Dr. Susumu Kurose. He used to be good friends with Kurose and his daughter before the accident and was the one who performed Aiko’s surgery.
Kazuki Minase is a newer diver who is partnered with Sagami. He is very upbeat and energetic and the first one to really make Aiko feel welcome. Despite the policy being that divers are supposed to stay out of client’s business and personal lives, he befriends Aiko and develops feelings for her. He has an artificial arm made of artificial organisms. He is talented with electronics.
Daisuke Shinoyama is the leader of the team of divers that were hired to escort Aiko. He is very dedicated to his teammates and puts their well-being before his own. He is gentle and kind. His partner is Shiraishi.
Maho Shiraishi is a gentle and hardworking supporting member of the team of divers. She has been working with Shinoyama for a long time and cares deeply for him. Her partner is Shinoyama.

Anime name: The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls (also known as The IdolM@aster Cinderella Girls) and The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls Theater TV series as well as then ONA (web) series of the same name
Genre(s): comedy-drama (first series), slice of life, comedy (Theater)
Lauren’s Like Rating: First series: 10/10 Theater (TV): 7/10 Theater (ONA): 7/10 (First series: While not what I would usually be interested in, this series has a lot of heart and really cheered me up during a difficult time in my life. It was very well made, with endearing characters, beautiful visuals, and the music is so awesome that I’ve already started buying some of the CDs. I feel like I’ll be checking out other IdolM@aster series in the future. I liked so many of the girls that I had to make myself cut this post down to just top favorites! Theater: These were cute little shorts, but I’m not really into the cute factor, so I found them hit-or-miss whether I liked each one, but some were pretty funny and I gotta admit it made me happy seeing Rin do cute things.)
Character (s): Rin Shibuya, Anastasia, Producer, Ranko Kanzaki, Mika Jougasaki, Kaede Takagaki
Rin Shibuya is a cool idol who started out not wanting to be an idol at all! She was approached by the Producer, who told her she had a nice smile and asked her to consider it. After he accidentally makes a fuss at her school by showing up regularly and people misjudging his intentions, which leads to her meeting Uzuki and learning about her passion to be an idol, she agrees to try it out and winds up being good friends with Uzuki and Mio, with whom she forms New Generations. She is the most quiet one in the trio and keeps her composure well, but she is kind and caring and shows a more feminine and cute side when she gets flustered. She also helps run a flower shop and she has a dog.
Anastasia, who likes to go by Anya, is a half Russian, half Japanese idol who does her best to speak Japanese but isn’t fluent. She at times speaks Russian without thinking and sometimes needs help figuring out the words she needs, but she never fails to be a voice of reason and a good friend. She is a gentle, kind person and very supportive of the other idols. She and Minami form Love Laika together and become close friends.
Producer has a tough face, but a warm heart. Although he gets into trouble sometimes as people assume based on his looks that he is being bad, he is generally actually the person trying to help out. His dream is to help girls reach their potential and be happy, and although they don’t always understand his choices at first, it tends to work out well in the end.
Ranko Kanzaki is a Gothic-lolita idol who speaks in dramatic phrases rather than normal speech. Many people can’t understand what she means (Producer even writes down her phrases and a translation.) Although she is easily associated with horror by her appearance and behavior, she gets scared extremely easily and can’t stand scary or creepy stuff, so Producer gets her a Gothic themed project instead, which she really appreciates. She is the only one of the idols to not be in a unit and her stage name is Rosenburg Engel. Although she tries to seem arrogant and intimidating, she is actually sweet and a bit shy. After she deals with some of her insecurity and makes friends with the other idols, she encourages and supports them and even on occasion speaks normally.
Mika Jougasaki is the already successful older sister of Rika. She invites Rin, Uzuki and Mio to dance at a big performance to give them a confidence boost, and they love it. She beloved by the other idols both for her ability and her friendships with them. She is a very outgoing and positive person, and tends to lift others up with her encouragement and willpower.
Kaede Takagaki is a gentle and quirky idol, but once she starts drinking a whole other side of her comes out!
