Hey everyone! So, I feel really awkward doing this but I’m kind of desperate right now. I’ve fallen on some really tough times recently - I’ve been caring for my unwell schizophrenic mum the past 2 weeks or so, and had to unfortunately admit her to the psychiatric ward yesterday morning. She will be in there for roughly 2 weeks while she’s put back on her medication (clozapine) under supervision. These past few days have felt like a surreal dream. I am now left to pick up the pieces, all while struggling with depression, anxiety and trichotillomania (hair pulling disorder). I have also been transitioning from zoloft onto a new medication which has been rough.

I have been out of work through all of this and am almost broke. I have 3 cats to take care of, and need to buy food for myself. I have to sort out what bills need paying and I’ve no idea what to do. I can’t drive so I have to pay $15 for a taxi to visit my mum in the ward. My dad helps as much as he can, but he’s a single parent raising my 11 year old step sister and is struggling himself. My mum is on the disability support pension, but doesn’t get paid for another week.
