Hot glue/fabric glue
Elastic band
Velcro

cut elastic so it fits waist
attach velcro so it works as "buckle"

Blank canvas bag
Sharpie
Highlighters
Sequins
Flat-back jewels
Needle & thread
Fabric glue
Estimated time: 1.5 hrs/ Estimated cost: $6
lay bag on flat surface & place book or clipboard inside so marker doesn't bleed through to other side.
free hand skull with sharpie (or use stencil).
color with neon highlighters.
use fabric glue to glue on flat-back jewels.
use need & thread to sew on sequins.

brown paper bag roses
Supplies:
Brown paper bag or brown packing paper
Scissors
Hot glue
Straws
Dried flowers
Gold spray paint (optional)
Estimated time: 45 min/ Estimated cost: $1
cut paper into circles about the size of your hand.
cut circle into spiral.
roll spiral from outside in and hot glue together as you go.
hot glue to straw & spray paint straw metallic.
mix paper flowers with dried leaves & flowers to form bouquet.
result is a bouquet that doesn't die.

miley christmas ornament

Resume paper
Printer
Gold glitter paper
Safety pin
download picture off internet & use "superimpose" app to crop your face in.
print using thick resume paper.
cut circles out of glitter paper to fit "wrecking ball"
punch paperclip through hands to make "chain"
hang on tree.

Funfetti cake mix
Vanilla frosting
Black food coloring
Red decorative frosting
Sprinkles
Estimated cost: $6/Estimated time: 1.25 hours
bake funfetti cake according to instructions
set aside 1/3 of frosting for skull
dye remaining frosting w/ black food coloring
use white frosting to create skull
cut "eye stencil" out of poster board
stencil in eyes w/ sprinkles
do same for nose
use red decorative frosting for mouth
add decorative accents w/ sprinkles

mermaid costume
Supplies:
Green lace
No sew iron-on fusion web
Thin cardboard
Glue
Glitter
Estimated time: 45 min/ Estimated cost: $7
cut fabric the length of your leg and wide enough so that you can tie the fabric around your waist
safety pin the fabric at your upper and lower thigh
cut piece of no sew tape so that it fits between the two safety pins
use an iron, steamer or hair straightener to bond the fabric together
when you pull the skirt on, it should look like this. The slit at the top will allow you to tie the skirt around your waist; the bonded seam will fall across your thigh.
cut starfish out of poster board and coat in glue.
cover in glitter.

use mod podge to glue paper to can.
apply several coats of mod podge on top of paper & let dry.
