I was like that with S10 of Doctor Who, I was hyped then disappointed & still to this day. Tbh, I feel Ahsoka has me hyped but I think it might have the thing S10 was missing, likeable leads & I don’t think I gave Pearl Mackie and Matt Lucas a fair chance but they were after Jenna Coleman who was one of my favourites and am worried it will repeat with Catherine Tate and Millie Gibson who I think has something with Mandip Gill putting on a performance of a life time and basically once again being the detriment to poor Pearl and Matt.

What Rosario Dawson and Natasha Liu Bordizzo have is this uniqueness and they have brig jumped on the radar after Katee Sackhoff’s surprise rise back in Mandalorian but she wasn’t as hyped as the boys were but it still late off and one of my standouts of the series . I also think the trailers have helped them because I see Jodie Whittaker and Mandip in them and I loved them but it’s a different case here.

For me, The Mandalorian is the show to beat but The Bad Batch we’re also on par. At the time, the Bad Batch episodes which were on the same day as Mando had been overshadowed except Pabu. In 2022, I watched Andor which was my first Star Wars series I watched on its release, I watched the first storyline then stopped because something wasn’t appealing for me. OWK just didn’t have the storyline for me sadly but the last episode saved it. TBOBF outshine them all as I just enjoyed what Temeura Morrison and Ming Na Wen brought to the show. I wanted more Boba like everyone else who had the same issue but it was still good as it had that emotional appeal, especially with Din and Grogu but it made me be invest in the chemistry between Boba and Fennec.

This is what is appealing with Ahsoka and Sabine, there is chemistry and it hasn’t been explored yet but with this and a lot more, I think Ahsoka is on par to be one of the best Star Wars Live Action shows. If it can stay at a good standard, it could give Doctor Who the encouragement it needs after my favourite era.

Will anyone else be inconsolable if the Ahsoka show isn't any good? God forbid it's terrible..... but I'd even be super bummed if it's mid. I didn't hate Obi-Wan Kenobi but it definitely had some clunky moments and bewildering writing choices. I'm not expecting Ahsoka to reach the heights of Andor, but they are also very different shows and I don't think I'd want that anyway. I just want it to be on par with Rebels (which to be clear is right below Andor in my book).

So many of us have been waiting to see Ahsoka and Sabine search for Ezra (and Thrawn) for so long.... part of me still wishes we got an animated continuation of the story. It would be more consistent and there are less eyes on animation from the general population. Feels safer to me. I don't want toxic SW Twitter ripping apart my faves. Also with so many alien characters it is just easier to pull off in animation.

Idk, I'm super excited for Ahsoka but this is the most nervous I've been for a Star Wars project since The Force Awakens honestly and we all know how that turned out!!!!

Anyway, I already told my boyfriend if this show isn't good I will probably slip into a depression for a 7 weeks so

I am excited for these guys. I feel I am in the age bracket which allows me to relate them. I do worry for Ruby if I am honest based on what I have seen & what is yet to come. I can understand that but with 15, I feel he has a good chance but I can see Ruby pulling out a surprise.

Boba being upset of the demise of his family is sad as they helped him and allows him to see a new side to life. Their legacy lives on in Boba. Loved Temeura’s performance and it was sad to see a emotional Boba have a moment of vulnerability that allowed him to treat the Tuskens with a proper Tusken filming.

The Doctor is more open on why she is protecting Yaz

The Doctor was in the TARDIS, walking down the corridors looking for Yasmin Khan. She knew she need to talk with her. Her past romance were haunting her, Rose Tyler, River Song and more. She felt she need to get it out.

She found a Yaz in her room and went to sit with her.

“Yasmin Khan,” the Doctor said, “I needed us to talk alone. I managed to to tell Dan not to bother us.

“I understand,” said Yaz, “It’s time that we talked on our own. I understand he cares but sometimes it’s best that that we discourse it just the two us.”

“It’s about our feelings,” the Doctor said, “I have struggled to think of how to say this.”

Yaz stared as she understood she struggled with her feelings. She saw it when she said goodbye to Graham and Ryan.

“Remember when I sold we should focus on the present on the beach.”

Yaz nodded and replied, “Yes and you wished that this would gone on forever.”

“I wish I could be committed with you Yaz but I have learned that it ends in heartbreak. I don’t want you to go through the same thing.

“I understand but that’s what still makes it a love story because you take on board my feelings and I appreciate that,” Yaz said truthfully

“I just want us enjoy the time we have left,” the Doctor said, “You told me when you joined for good that you want more time with me. That’s all I want. I have already waste enough. You are my closest friend.

Yaz smiled, she knew the odds were stacked against them, but together they were the perfect pairing. Yaz rested her head on the Doctor’s shoulder and noticed the Doctor didn’t flinch, why but she rather no answer and let that though be in the Doctor’s privacy.

“So I would choose to be with you

That's if the choice were mine to make

Grogu’s Love For Strawberries

27th February - Strawberry

Grogu loves strawberries

Grogu had been shopping it his father for supplies and it was enjoyable. Grogu had a new favourite food. He loved strawberries. He had begged his Dad to but him and he gave in. Also, he knew Grogu was starting to steal food as he did with the eggs belonging to the Frog Lady.

Grogu after tea was ready for his strawberries and he ate them one at a time. It would be described as a juicy and rays but more sweeter than the worms which he found tasty even though his dad didn’t like them.

He kept eating his strawberries, savouring each on he had and when he had finished, he was so happy and full and too tried to concentrate. His dad noticed this and placed him to bed and left him to it. Grogu got comfort and went to keep, going into another beautiful dream thanks to the strawberries he has just eaten.

Boba Fett and Fennec Shand have a good time at a gala at Mos Espa

Boba Fett and Fennec Shand walked arm in arm to a formal gala. It was a very important event as heirs to the throne, they had to make an impression.

Boba assured Fennec who was nervous as she wanted to get this right. She was part of royalty on the Mid Rim. She was worried her toughness would work against her.

Boba gave Fennec the confidence she needed just like she would and that’s what made their relationship work.

They walked into the ballroom to a rapturous applause.

“See Fen,” said Boba, “They love you.

“Its like a Fairytale,” Fennec said look back at Boba smiling at him.

“It’s going to get better,” said Boba, “Shall we?”

Fennec nodded in agreement as he led her to the middle of the floor and they got themselves into hold.

They danced the night away an got a lot of admiration from their subjects.

It felt like a fairytale as Fennec had said. Boba loved that about Fennec, she

was optimistic. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.

Fennec felt the same way. He saved her life and they became as equal as each other.

Near the end of the evening, they were embracing each other and kissing with passion and they felt comfortable with each other.

“Let’s go to bed,” said Boba

“You got that right Fett,” said Fennec as she took his hand, “I feel very tired.”

“Ok,” said Boba as he led them to bed.

Their nighttime had just begun.

The Consequences of War

Boba and Fennec are facing the consequences from the Battle For Mos Espa.

“There are places I'll remember

All my life though some have changed

Some forever, not for better

Some have gone and some remain”

Boba saw the affects of the recent war has taken its toll on him and Fennec. He was nearly killed by his own mentor, Fennec assassinated all of the opposition as he felt in cold blood. He knew they were a threat but it had t be done, anyone who betrayed him payed the price.

He walked towards Fennec who was feeling very emotional. She felt this was the bloodthirstiest she had taken part. She remembered Cad Bane and stopped him all those years from taking unaltered Clone Omega to her death. She wonders where she was now but she was glad Cad had finally taken his last stand. He was too dangerous but it was the only way.

There was bloodshed on both sides and Boba knew the whole of Tattoine was at stake. He lost two good soldiers in battle and missed the Gamorrean Guards. He wish he could have done something but they were too far aw to be saved but they were Marty’s and the gang had remembered the, as a hero. Boba did save Krssantan and might have saved Cobb Vanth as well by the use of his Bacta Tank. From the last he heard from the Mod in charge of his recovery , looked like Cobb would make a full recovery.

He was relieved that Fennec was ok and looked after her quite a bit. He let her sleep with her and comforted her when she needed. They both agreed that they were getting close to a relationship but it would take time for that.

Boba sat with Fennec and pulled her into an embrace.

“Are you ok,” he asked.

“Better now you are here, my love,” replied Fennec

Boba smiled, he felt the happiest he had been.

From now on, Boba could move on with Fennec and keep Mos Espa safe from their enemies hand. As he once said, he intends to rule with respect but he knew maybe his relationship with Fennec would grow.

“Though I know I'll never lose affection

The Bartender and The Doctor

John Smith’s night running the bar ends up more exciting.

John Smith was an experienced bartender in London. He always loved looking after his patrons and spent plenty of years in the trade. One of his patrons in particular had won him over.

“Hello, it's me

I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet

They say that time's supposed to heal ya, but I ain't done much healing”

Professor River Song often visited John’s Bar and as one of his regular patrons. She loves coming to his bar. It reminded her of the US sitcom Cheers which she has began watching. She thought what was wrong with Sam Turner but she enjoyed Frasier Crane and he had a show called Frasier.

River walked into the bar after work. She saw John look on at her with interest. She gave him a friendly smile and went to the bar.

“Hello Dr Song and what can I get you,” he asked.

“A glass of shandy please?”

John got to work preparing her drink.

“How are you doing,” he asked

“I am doing good thanks John,” she replied, “Tough work day to be honest but I won’t note you what it.”

“You won’t bore me,” John said before whispering, “You and Missy are the only ones who are able to engage in great conversation.

“Alright,” she said with a smile.

As River engaged in conversation, John was starting to realise he was attracted to Dr Song. He knew it would take time to know of River would feel the same but the answer was right in from him.

Boba attempts to serenade Fennec with a personal song but ends up getting emotional.

It was Fennec Shand’s birthday and and she came down to see Boba Fett waiting for her with a guitar.

“Happy Birthday Fennec,” she said.

“What is with the guitar?

“As it’s your birthday, said Boba putting in his guitar strap preparing to play, “I thought I would serenade you with a song that shows how I feel about you.

Fennec raised her eyebrows. “Really,” she thought.

“When you and I have separated for a few months,” Boba said, “I listened to this song a lot and I learned to play the guitar to this song. I really missed you.”

Boba began to sing…

“If I should stay

I would only be in your way

So I'll go, but I know

I'll think of you every step of the way”

Biba began to choke up as he sang the chorus.

“And I

“You, my darling, you, mm”

Boba stopped singing and broke down on the spot. Fennec noticed and walked straight over to Boba.

“It’s ok Boba,” she said gently, “It was lovely. It doesn’t matter if you don’t finish it. I felt the same way.”

“I wanted to say how much I missed you but I guess it’s too much, Boba said tearily.

Fennec put her hands on his head and passionately kissed him

“Let’s do something more celebratory,” suggested Fennec as she let go of Boba.

“Dinner tonight, my darling,” Boba asked.

“That would be lovely,” she replied.

The Doctor uses logic

The Doctor uses logic on how to check on the TARDIS.

The Doctor was in the TARDIS. She was on her own and doing what she loved, tinkering with the controls. It’s her safe space and the TARDIS was her long time companion.

She stared at her friend and asked, “What do you think I should do with the controls? Should I take it all of it a part and rewire it or just check them over?

The TARDIS hummed in disapproval.

“Use my logic? How rude,” the Doctor said in an angry voice.

She thought about it. Which would be quick but or which would be safer. She just had to combine the both.

“I got it,” the Doctor burst out, “Let’s get shift on,”

The Doctor got to work, she dismantled and rewired the dematerialisation circuit and did it very quickly but safely. Once it was reworked. She checked over everything, making sure not to damaging anything that could mess up during Demat and Remat mode.

“Oh Brilliant!”

The TARDIS made a noise of agreement.

“It’s done,” she said, focusing on the sentient console, “Let’s find the Fam.”

The Doctor operated the controls as the TARDIS flew into the vortex once again.

The Doctor and Yasmin Khan celebrate Mardi Gras.

Hi, you can imagine where they were. It’s your choice.

“Welcome to Mardi Gras Yasmin Khan,” the Doctor announced as they walked into the streets of the USA.

Yaz was excited as she wanted to do something different but wanted the party atmosphere.

The Doctor thought a Mardi Gras would be the effect axe thee when it was two of them. She thought of calling it a date but went against it as she was unsure. What was ruining her judgement.

“What are we going to do,” asks Yaz

“We are going to join a parade,” she said.

Yaz cheered with excitement.

The Doctor and Yaz walked through the city in the parade and enjoyed it. It felt like a fiesta and they fit right in with the crowd and partied hard. Yaz felt so happy and the Doctor was glad she gave her the opportunity,

The were covered in paint being thrown into the streets, they danced to upbeat carnival music and ate a variety of food.

The Doctor looked at Yaz, she felt she looked beautiful. Her Yasmin Khan. She was struggling with her feelings. Should she ask her out or just leave to as it was without hurting Yaz. She new her long life and previous experience would be a reason why she couldn’t do it. She didn’t know but Yaz’s smile made it harder.

They returned to the TARDIS at night and were tired. The partying had finally got to them

“I am partied out,” said Yaz.

Me too Yaz,” the Doctor said, “Let’s get to bed. Want to join me Miss Khan?”

“Is it a date?”

“It might be!”

Yaz smiled as the Doctor led to her bedroom.

The Doctor felt happy she had asked Yaz. All she had to do was not let her past feelings ruin it and just be herself. She’s the Doctor.

What They Thought As They Said Goodbye

What happened as Din and Grogu said goodbye.

“Lately, I've been, I've been thinking

I want you to be happier, I want you to be happier.”

“Alright pal, it’s time got go, Din had said to his son, “Don’t be afraid.”

Grogu knew he has to go and train with this mysterious Jedi who was Luke Skywalker and his Astromech droid which he called R2-D2 but seeing his Dad’s face made it more harder. He wanted to be powerful as he knew he couldn’t end up in the hands of the Imperials agin. He refused at first but hearing his dad say he belonged with his own kind has swayed his decision. When he had one look at his father, he smiled back at his son, being strong but he knew had to move on or was it the right path.

Din watched his soon walk away to his destiny. He had just got him back fro, Moff Gideon and got a unexpected weapon he didn’t even want. He has completed his task by creed. He reunited his son with the Jedi. He didn’t feel as happy but he had to let his son move on without him. He put on a smile to know everything was going to be ok.

What was his future now her had took his mask off so his son could see him for good. He never regret what he did but if he told The Armourer, he would be out.

As the doors closed, he put his helmet on and turned to the girls. Cara Dune, Fennec Shand, Bo Katan Kryze and Koska Reeves. The girls who made the rescue possible. He was grateful and thankful for their service. They left the ship together so they could find the passage home.

What was the Darksaber for? Now dark was it in the wrong hands. All he had to do was train himself and else. More bout. This was Don’s way now.

“Know that means I'll have to leave

Grogu’s Way To The Light Side

19th February - Lights (Ellie Goulding)

From shiny to lights, Grogu knows what path he needs to take.

Grogu loved shiny stuff like the silver knob from the Razor Crest. It reminded him of the Mandalorian and he knew he had a lot of appreciation after he save his life.

He revered getting it back in the chairs on Tattoine. He was a mixed of emotions, he got his toy but was worried about his father’s safety. Then using it to annoy his dad into speeding. He loved doing that, “Wheeeeeee.”

Grogu also loved lights. He loved the Razor Crest controls. He saw Red and Green lights and he loved to press those buttons. He often though of messing around to make it more of a disco but he was more aware of damaging the ship. He knew it made Mando mad but sometimes he wanted to help him out. Especially when he did try to help with repairs before they returned to Nevarro.

“You show the lights that stop me turn to stone

Grogu loved the light for another reason, he felt Mando was beacon to happiness, he saved him from the dark. Mando made him stronger and brought back his powers. He has still work to do but the light side do the force calling to him to avoid the same fate as what the nice lady had said. Ashoka had helped him reveal his name and made his dad relate he had an attachment to him. He knew he had to stay with Mando to avoid the same fate as Ashoka’s old friend. But he believed in the force helping him stay good. He knew he had to return to his father as he needed him even though he did benefit from the training of Luke Skywalker. The life of a Mandalorian was his calling. He knew the Mandalorian was his home.
