We spend so much energy on made-up competitions that happen mostly in our own minds. Our culture might have made us believe that this way of being is good, but all it really does is increase our sense of separateness and put people against each other, causing useless suffering in pretty much everyone involved.
It seems to me that unlearning this habit is necessary not only for us to live more fulfilling lives but also so we can build better communities with each other.

May we have the courage and sensibility to feel all the things that can't be seen.

I believe that's the real challenge of moving forward and sometimes it's also the reason why we can't move on from others, because they remind us of the way that we used to be.
Letting go isn't easy, but it's necessary.

Sometimes, we need to simply stop the search so we can find what we already have.

A little motivation to start this week.
Sometimes, all we need is the courage to look ahead.

Every act of love towards others also reaches deep within ourselves and shows us the way to self-acceptance.

I feel so happy seeing that many people are advocating for mental health lately. I believe that taking care of our minds is one of the most important things we can do, not only for ourselves but for our community as well.
So, whatever you’re doing to take care of your mind, whether it’s therapy or meditation or any other thing, I want you to know that as a fellow human being I feel truly grateful for your efforts.

Here's a little secret:
You don't have to carry the burden of understanding everything that happens to you and translating every single one of your feelings into words.
Let go of your inner monologue, if only for a moment, and you'll see that the mystery of being is already enough to make you whole.

You don't need to hold on to anything along the way. Just let it all go and return to the only place where we're real: the present.

It amazes me how much I can get caught up in my own circumstances.
From time to time I find myself with so much wanting, cravings and an urge to make things more than what they really are. And it all makes me so tired, like I have been desperately running for a long time, escaping from forgotten nightmares, searching for made-up dreams.
Does life really has to feel this way?

Here is an experiment. Take a look at a mirror and try to see how much the image of your body represents your actual life.
If you look closely at an ear, for example, you will realize that its image and shape represents almost nothing about the act of listening. And the same is true about our eyes and the act of seeing. And our mouths, noses, and everything else, really.
The truth is that the act of being is just too vast for our own senses to define. In a mysterious way, consciousness turns the confinement of the skin into an infinite place.
We are all much more than just human bodies. We are whole universes, mostly unexplored, even by our own selves.

This poem came to me in a moment when I was thinking about death and the paradoxes of beginnings and endings.
The part “Everything that was simply becomes everything that is” was the first thing that I wrote and to be honest I don’t even think it makes sense grammatically, but it makes sense in a way that brings me comfort.
And I hope it can do the same for you as well.

Recently I’ve read the etymology of the word spirit and I found out that it comes from the latin word spirare which means breathe.
I was fascinated by this and I was immediately reminded of the practice of meditation and how paying close attention to the breath can bring a feeling of comfort and ease.
The breath is often neglected and we usually forget that we’re even breathing. But it is an essential principle of our lives and I believe that forming a strong connection with it can help us tremendously.
In a sense, the breath really is our spirit.

I wrote this one thinking about prejudice and rigid thinking and how they hinder our progress and evolution.
May we always have the courage to move further into the mysteries of each other and of ourselves.
And just like the universe, may we keep expanding towards the unknown.
