4t2 Seasonal Trees Collection (Giant)

Some of you asked me about this and I finally delivered! 🥳

This is a collection of 4t2 trees converted from Sims 4 in original textures and made seasonal. It is meant as an add-on to my 4t2 Default Replacement Flora because I didn't include trees already available there.

Key features:

66 Maxis seasonal trees

2 cc palms by Max20 (from his Poolside Lounge Pack)

6 dead trees (non seasonal but get snowy in winter)

5 tree lights (separate objects (lamps, found in lights-misc), show up in hood view)

Seasonal recolors for a lot of trees

Hood view enabled

Quarter tile placeable

Smoothed out meshes

Undersides for leaves

As always, I tried to follow real-life seasonness of plants but sometimes had fun with some states and textures, don't take it too seriously. Seasonal states are not pictured on purpose so you could discover them yourself, in their full glory.

Functional 4t2 Book Piles

A while ago I already shared a bunch of functional book piles. Time for some new ones!

This is a set of 20 book piles converted from Sims 4 and turned into functional bookcases. All books can go on various surfaces, including shelves, and are still functional.

@lordcrumps' shadow file is necessary for the shadows to work properly, it's included, but of course delete it if you already have it.

Compressed, clearly labelled, meshes merged with recolors (trust me, you'll want them all), picture included.

Real Animated Pets - Goat, Sheep and Llama

This project is our fruit of labour with @deedee-sims. I was looking for a way to have more "alive" pets in Sims 2 and approached DeeDee. Luckily for all of us, she liked the idea and helped me out with the most difficult parts. This project would not be possible without you, thank you DeeDee ❤️

From the technical point of view all animals are custom collars for large dogs (and only large dogs). In order for them to work as on previews, you need to assign your dog a transparent fur (a brand new creation by DeeDee that makes dogs' fur completely invisible, included in the archive) and then pick an animal skin you want from the collar section. If you'd like to change the appearance of an existing large dog, be sure to buy it a desired collar on a community lot first! Dog's breed is also important, it can make chubbier or thinner animals. If your fur doesn't look completely transparent, be sure to uncheck all the fur accessories. I'd recommend using a default white no name breed (looks best with animations).

Swatches:

We (especially DeeDee! ❤️) did our best making new animals move as smoothly as possible, but be aware that clipping is still present in certain animations. Also, these animals behave and sound like normal dogs. Hopefully we'll find a way to mute them in the future.

Animals come with a set of objects that are more appropriate for farm animals - new bed, toy, 2 "bowls" and deco hay. Objects have morphs and dirty states. Note that the feeders works like a pet bowl meaning they will randomly rotate but it won't prevent pets from eating normally.

All animals come with original Sims 4 textures (1024x1024 for llama and 512x512 for goat and sheep), converted and tweaked by me. Animal colors are separated so you can pick and choose only the ones you want. Collection file for objects is included. I also recommend these and these Uldum rug add-ons (if you want other sizes for the hay overlay).

Part II

Another easel paint brush replacement using another Leoz94 converted object from Bioshock: Infinite. Reminder: there can be only one! This will overwrite the previous file I created in Part I.

Even though the marvelous @msbarrows abandoned us left the TS2 community over a decade ago, her lovely creations are still essential for any Victorian game. These are her Victorian textures on the painting frame as default replacements, and I sincerely cannot believe I didn't think of this sooner! The paintings featured here are from Part I. SWATCH

The Independent Expressions Inc. Easel edited to remove the paint tubes in the tray and with a dark texture replacement, then recolored using Aweeshie's volatile retexture as a base in Aelia's Eco Naturals.

The grilled cheese paintings from FreeTime replaced using 19th century artwork featuring food.

And now for the bonus goodies! This is Steffor's Fairy Easel heavily edited to remove the clutter and updated with @belladovah's edits to AnoeskaB's easels. My object will replace the original. I've also included the recolors @riekus13 did in this amazing set that inspired me to finally complete this upload.

This is Gorey's conversion of an Awesims' painting that Malle recolored ages ago that I was able to separate into two different subsets: frame and painting. (Hooray for new skills!) The file name has been changed and will overwrite the original object in the game as it has the same GUID. Frame recolors are Malle's originals with Victorian art.

A Bioshock easel converted by @leoz94, updated with BellaDovah's easel edits and adjusted to be recolorable. Lately I've been on a quest to make a lot of game conversions functional, and this object is perfect for 19th century games.

In the never-ending quest to improve old content, Maya40 at the Historical Sims Discord was kind enough to fulfill a request from me to remap Taroo's Atelier Canvases. The textures are vastly improved, and I've made additional objects with Taroo's originals. Too many paintings were used in this creation to include a swatch, but several are used in the above preview pictures. Thank you for the lovely work, Maya!

And last, but certainly not least, as I get the feeling I'll be revisiting the entire set someday, is the canvas storage object from Tinkle's The Artist set edited to have two subsets and recolored. The wooden frame is a separate subset from the paintings, and I also created a collection of those same paintings grouped together on the floor.

All files have been renamed and compressed with a collection file included. Many thanks to all the creators whose works I used in parts or whole to make this set possible and The Society Papers gang for their patience while I sorted this out! As always, feel free to use and abuse anything included in this set, and let me know of any errors. Enjoy!

L'ego My Legos!! Legos are one of my favoritest toys - I have a huge collection (that I really need to stop neglecting!) and used to spend hours building elaborate houses.. even as an adult. When I was working on the games I uploaded a little bit ago I got to thinking about Legos because the game boxes would be perfect for Lego recolors. If you’re going to have the boxes, you’ve got to have the Legos, right? Right. Well, I looked and looked again and didn’t find much more than a set of 3 Lego blocks at Blacky Panther. Nope.. so here you are - Legos for the Lego fiend in all of us. :)

In this set you get recolors of the game boxes, 4 different Lego meshes, a Lego tote and an empty tote with a slot. There is also an additional optional download of the shelves (1 tile with 4 slots, 2 tile with 8 slots) - they are slaved to the Lack end table so the Ikea stuff pack is needed!

The Lego meshes and Lego tote can be found in Misc>Child for 1 Simoleon (I left them cheap because my sims got them at a yard sale!). The shelves are in Surfaces>Shelves for 250 Simoleons and the empty tote in Deco>Misc for 10 Simoleons (slots cost Simoleons, lol). Polycounts for the Legos and Lego tote range from 772 to 2558; polycounts for the shelves are 376 each; polycount for the empty tote is 310. The game box meshes are included (if you already have them, you don’t need them) and they can be found in Misc>Child too. There is a residential collection file included.

Note: I know the Lego mesh polys are a bit high. I tried, I even remade them which *did* lower them a bit but it’s hard to lower box polycounts. The legos that are “built” on the bases aren’t separate Legos - the texture was made to make them look like they are.

Note 2: The repository technique was used - files are named so you know which are masters/slaves.
