Devoid
Give the ones you ignore a standing ovation
Despite your ill will they’ve changed their constellations
Bottom dwellers with their heads held high
Backs turned forward and eyes to the sky
They will not fight for you but they’ll take their turn to die
It’s been a long time coming and no one seems to mind
Safe and unchanging the hypocrisy of truth
Lost and wasted on the unwise years of youth
Unwanted delusions warped into a single ideal
The promise of death becomes all that is real
Smiles that flicker and words won’t fade
Intangible objects of their life’s long parade
Submerged in distractions and insatiable thirsts
Insanity broken and shamefully deterred
Devoid of any meaning the necessary sins… Greed and gluttony slither out from within

a dude came into work looking for vitamin d drops for his newborn so I grabbed the cheapest ones off the shelf (which happened to be Dora the Explorer brand, they were on sale and it was a sweet deal???) and he was like “Um excuse me could I have another brand? my child’s a boy.” like okay buddy i was just trying to save you $5, didn’t mean to threaten your hours-old newborn child’s masculinity omfg

Letting Go
Tonight, passing through The eye of the storm Just barely fit And there I’ll sit Perfect still eternity
Outside the edges My mind twirl-twisting Praying to the god Of Stupidity Bring the darkest storm.

Quietus
Swinging by the changing tides of truth Your love has got me hanging from its noose You smelled cheap and rare and almost too wonderful You tasted so expensive lying on that Sunday floor Left drifting like a separate piece of you Contorting bones and blood that flows right through You've got me by the holes, salting the wounds And now you reek of death, my open tomb I've tasted you and now my tongue is blue Been apart of you Mortality ensues

Another! A federal judge just overturned Wisconsin’s ban on same-sex marriage, though it’s not totally clear whether same-sex marriages can begin immediately.
U.S. District Judge Barbara Crabb did not stay her ruling but also did not immediately issue an order blocking the enforcement of the order, sparking a hasty debate among lawyers who had not even fully digested the decision on whether it meant that couples could immediately marry in the courthouses of Wisconsin.
Instead, Crabb asked the gay couples who had sued over the ban to describe by June 16 exactly what they wanted the judge to block with respect to the enforcement of the law. She said she would then address whether to stay her decision while the matter is on appeal.
WISCONSIN WISCONSIN WISCONSIN! There is a chance marriages will begin today, so start your engines!

Under the new policy, you can obtain a full ten-year passport with an updated gender if you have had CLINICAL TREATMENT determined by your doctor to be appropriate in your case to facilitate gender transition.
This is especially awesome…
