piano in the courtyard/alone
EL Rabbo: eats peyote for knowledge
LeSuzie: just happened to open a door —————————————————————-
LeSuzie: i live in a fairly small world. now that El Rabbo is just a ghost and his cousin eventually froze in the desert night i am alone in the courtyard to play this piano in these final seconds of twenty twenty three. these notes you hear will echo through the whole courtyard back to right where i sit now. welcome to twenty twenty four El Rabbo bellowed. that echo alone seems so present. this is a song song for El Rabbo. oh, and his poor cousin. found the cousin with a camera photographs of a large cactus. i must go back now to my house three states away.
bye

piano in the courtyard / photograph
——-
EL Rabbo: ate peyote for knowledge
LeSuzie: just happened to open a door
Rabbo DeLux: the cousin
——-
LeSuzie: well that sixty seconds sure seemed to evaporate rather swiftly.
Rabbo DeLux: i captured a photograph of the moment EL Rabbo appeared, of you and your expression. i also took a photograph as EL Rabbo sat next to you on the piano bench. of course EL Rabbo is not in any of the photos because of him now being a ghost. although you know that he is there next to you when you see the photographs i captured of you two.
LeSuzie: traveling these years to be here in the courtyard as EL Rabbo would play this piano, or the piano in the cellar where no one goes but us, then EL Rabbo requesting i sing along, or play, even today, EL Rabbo a ghost only appearing for one minute just before the new year then right then EL Rabbo will disappear, all of this, is worth every sixty s-e-c-o-n-d-s. now you here too play the piano would you? i would never have imagined all those years ago being here under very normal circumstances i open a door to my room and in walked a giant human-size rabbit introduced as EL Rabbo. seems EL Rabbo wanted to tune the piano in the corner of my room.
Rabbo DeLux: i would love to play but the thing is i fell asleep out in the snow a few nights ago i am still mostly numb from that could not play the piano although you should play the piano i will capture a photograph of that. also, yes, for as long as ELRabbo owned this hotel this piano in the courtyard would come alive every new year eve. it is the only time you are here too.
LeSuzie: i have deep thoughts about not coming back, each year. i am vexed on what i should do. in the meantime of my trying to come to that decision i arrive back here. maybe tomorrow i will decide.
Rabbo DeLux: will you also sing? play the piano, and sing?
LeSuzie: i will.
Rabbo DeLux: may i capture a photograph, maybe two?
LeSuzie: yes, please. will you be also singing?
Rabbo DeLux: i will.
LeSuzie: perfect.

EL Rabbo: ate peyote for knowledge
LeSuzie: just happened to open a door
Rabbo DeLux: the cousin
——-
LeSuzie: i am again here decemeber thirty-first eleven fifty-nine at night waiting for El Rabbo to appear to play this piano in the courtyard. all these past times i just never dreamed this was how bringing in the new year would be. who are you?
Rabbo DeLux: i am the cousin of El Rabbo, here to play the piano in the courtyard for weddings.
LeSuzie: oh, i remember who you are. you were one of the large rabbits out in the hallway when i realized El Rabbo was a large rabbit too. you one time fell asleep outside, got cold lost your voice froze your feet. could not play the piano or sing, so took photographs instead.
Rabbo DeLux: yes, that is me. to be candid, that happens to me quite frequently. one reason i always have a camera with me.
LeSuzie: El Rabbo then asked me if i could play Little Bunny Foo Foo.
Rabbo DeLux: i remember. now, every year since for the welcoming of the new year El Rabbo and you would together sing and play the piano in the courtyard. you must have been shocked last time to find El Rabbo is now a ghost.
LeSuzie: i certainly was surprised. then, El Rabbo appeared, started to play the piano, i began to sing. as soon as we entered into the new year El Rabbo disappeared leaving me to sing and play the piano alone.
Rabbo DeLux: and i snapped your photograph.
LeSuzie: indeed you did. are you ready now?
Rabbo DeLux: i am ready, miss. oh, El Rabbo is playing!
LeSuzie: perfect.

all this. all of this is random. at this
particular moment in time how your
eyes could have been anywhere but
here they are. just does not really
happen that often. that line up.
——-
i wrote a poem and no one noticed. i
should maybe write it down here, but
i wrote it on the bottom of a stone. then,
threw that stone as far as i could out into
the water.
——-
there is no interest in what i say just
after some attention your way ‘see i
did all this will you spend your time to
look. it was the entire purpose i so
randomly connected to you.’ plus,

piano in the courtyard skeleton
-------
EL Rabbo: eats peyote for knowledge
LeSuzie: just happened to open a door
-------
LeSuzie: what is this?
that is where El Rabbo laid down for death to come, and it did.
LeSuzie: you just left him there?
this was his request.
LeSuzie: why is the piano there?
also his request.
LeSuzie: to turn to bones lying next to the piano in the courtyard?
here, look. it is all written right here. these were his instructions
to me i should open when he said so, that is exactly what
happened here. one day in june El Rabbo says to me, i am
going to the courtyard open the letter now.
LeSuzie: it says here he should be propped up against the piano
as if playing. why is he lying down then?
he went off script there right at the end. wanted to lie down.
LeSuzie: who else knows?
everyone now.
LeSuzie: (sighs deeply) i come all this way so we may play the piano
in the courtyard together, and i find his skeleton lying next to it. is
there a ghost?
it was the virus, miss.
LeSuzie: is El Rabbo still here?
if you are here decemeber thirty-first eleven fifty-nine at
night El Rabbo historically appears to play the piano.
LeSuzie: then i am just in time.
yes you are.
LeSuzie: perfect.

Emily: i am quite shy quite
shy indeed. at times you may
not even see me. i blend in
invisible with mostly anything.
dim out the lights let the moon
speak. the moon you see speaks
in tongues. all of them invisible.
very shy.

this is why there are other rooms.
some, do require a certain desired
acceptance. i, and our team, certainly
believe how free you will be Emily, with any
of these rooms. we might suggest THE
DREAM ROOM. there, you are in the air.
so.

listen
you were looking for a little control,
thought you had a handle. it broke when
you pulled on it now the door will not
open. this room is spinning. even though
you are sitting down you are spinning a-
round round too. a small tornado alone
with you, controlling what you just wrote. look,
watch how it ricochets off the walls. might
there be some temptation follows it there,
a small table a chair, side by side. i was not
expecting to see how fast glass walls are built
although, here we are. blurs to one another, colors
float about. sometimes when it gets very quiet i
hear your voice, and others. i listen.

a business transaction
why, all these are charred paintings.
< Sarah appears begins painting with flair.
holding brushes that had tiny multi-colored
tips of flames drawing across the canvas as
the oils lit on fire.
flames ceased just as Sarah finished painting
pulling her brushes had tiny tips of flames away.
removing the brushes from her hands, then smiling,
stepping back. Sarah’s painting was of three parrots
flying around trees. it was now smoldering, the oil paint
fizzing to silence.
Sarah takes that painting puts it with the other
charred ones. positions a fresh canvas, stares
at it and sings. the three parrots painting was still
smoldering surrounded now by the other charred
paintings.
three parrots fly into the room ricochet around the
walls then, fly out the window >
i will buy all of them.
