Hurt/Comfort Kid just like basically whatever you want! You choose! Be your OWN request.
Lmaooo! I have become my own request! Thank you for the suggestion!
Kid's first meeting with Liz and Patty (hurt/comfort)
Building relationships was difficult, and for the most part, Kid didn’t really understand the point of close friendships. It wasn’t necessarily for a lack of trying, but people seemed to be put off by his status as Lord Death’s son or his mannerisms. After a young childhood of clinging to his father who had desperately tried to build his son’s social skills, Lord Death eventually had to put that concern on the back burner, hoping that eventually Kid would be able to find someone on his own who accepted him.
Still, work had to be done, and Kid had to learn about the roles of being a reaper. Lord Death had sent him on a trip to Brooklyn to scope out some information for the academy. Kid had been traveling alone, and the intense individualism of the city was starting to hit him. Even though he had struggles with creating strong friendships like he had seen in books and movies, the people in Death City were at least friendly. His time in Brooklyn was proving to be extra lonesome and people were outwardly rude to him about his quirks.
On the one hand, he appreciated that people didn’t seem to walk on eggshells with the knowledge of who his father was, but interacting with others was beginning to feel particularly isolating. He strolled through the city as daytime turned to night. Still on the hunt for information and feeling discouraged at the lack of cooperation from others, he was thinking of throwing in the towel and going back home to his father.
As he walked past a dark alleyway, he heard a commotion coming from the area further down its path. Curious to see if a stray kishin egg was nearby, he made his way through the dark path and came upon a rather violent scene. At first he only saw a large group of men clad in dark clothing, until he heard the voices of two girls from an area outside his vision. Continuously intrigued, he snuck to a higher ground to get a better view of the situation. He had found the source of the voices he couldn’t see before.
There were two girls surrounded by the men who appeared to be a bit rough around the edges, standing strong and calm, almost amused, against the group of men who seemed to be ready to pounce at a moment's notice. Kid watched, wondering if he should step in. He almost walked away when he heard the bang of a gunshot. He whipped around to see that one of the girls had turned into a gun and the two were holding their own against the group with no issues. He almost walked away again when he saw what would end up as a life changing moment for him.
The one girl who had turned into a gun turned back into her human form, only for the other girl to transform into an identical gun. His heart began to pound excitedly. His father had been relentlessly trying to find an elegant weapon partner for Kid, but there was always something off about the partners he had presented. This moment was when Kid saw what seemed to be missing from the other partners. It wasn't just that having them as partners would follow the ideal symmetry Kid desired, but it was what he gathered from their personalities as well.
The two of them were bold, they had no issues relying on each other just as weapons and they weren't trying to sugarcoat anything during their fight. It made him feel hopeful- maybe if he reached out to them, maybe those two could accept him. Maybe they wouldn't feel as if they were walking on eggshells while they were with him. Maybe they could treat him like a normal person even though he knew he wasn't.
After a moment's hesitation, he jumped in, taking out the remaining attackers. As the chaos cleared, the two girls met his gaze, confused and impressed at the sight of him.
"Who the hell do you think you are?" The older of the girls asked.
"My name is Death the Kid. Kid for short. I have a proposition for you two."
The two watch him skeptically as he explains who he is and how he wants them to come back to the DWMA with him.
"You're certainly bold asking us to come with you. What's the catch, huh?" The older girl asks.
"Nothing at all, I'm being fully transparent. If you come back to the academy with me and agree to be my weapons, you'll be provided with a more comfortable life. Food, shelter, whatever you need."
The two girls look at each other and back to Kid.
"And why us?" The younger girl asks.
"I saw you fight. You're twin pistols, right? I have an affinity for symmetry, you know. More than that however, I see a deep potential for you both. I think we'd work well with each other."
Kid pauses, unsure of how much further to take his convincing.
"I won't force you to come with me, but if you're interested, I'll be at the library tomorrow searching for some information right at opening, 7am. Meet me there in the archives and we can test the waters."
He turns, walking off and returning to the hotel room his father had set up for him, wondering if he had made an impression on them like they did on him.
.
.
.
Sure enough, the next morning at 7am, Kid was walking up the stairs to the library's entrance.
"Okay Kid," a voice calls out. He turns to the source and sees one of the girls from last night. "We thought about it. You let us know what you're looking for and if this works out, we'll consider coming back with you."
Kid gives them a grin.
"Perfect. Now, since we'll be working together for this, what should I call you two?"
"I'm Patty, and that's my big sis Liz. Now, you better not pull any shit with us, mister. We're not afraid to go on the offensive," the younger girl with shorter hair tells him, her voice shockingly cute and unseeming for the harsh tone she was giving him.
Kid nods, "Of course. I don't blame you for being wary. I'll do my best to gain your trust."
He fills the two of them in on reports of a kishin egg in the area and how the people around the city weren't being too cooperative, so he had decided to see if he could find any leads using newspaper reports. The two girls groaned at this.
"Okay, I see why you're struggling with this. Your presence ain't shit honestly. If you're gonna dress and look the way you do, you need a voice to back it up. Take us to your first lead, we'll get the information you want," Liz tells him.
Kid raises a brow at this but agrees. He leads the sisters to a back-alley store he had gone to yesterday, leading the way in.
When the man behind the counter sees him, he rolls his eyes.
"Look dude, I told you yesterday, I don't have-" he freezes as he notices the two girls standing behind Kid.
"You say you don't know anything, huh? I call bullshit, how about you Patty?" Liz says, her voice sickeningly sweet, but her aura brimming with malice.
"Uh-huh. I think this guy is lying to you Kid. I don't like liars," Patty replies.
The two approach the counter and the guy backs up a bit.
"O-okay, fine! What do you need to know? I don't want any trouble!"
"Kid, what was it you were looking for?"
"I'm looking for the whereabouts of a kishin egg. Do you know anyone who's been more violent lately? Particularly someone who wants to get more powerful by eating human souls?"
"Well, I don't know about any of that 'eating human souls' crap but… my boss. He's been acting really sketchy lately- hasn't been coming in much and when he does he's been weirdly strong and threatening. He used to be real scrawny, but now he's way beefy. He's only been claiming to work out for a month! There's no way he's built that much muscle that fast."
"Mhmmmm, and where can we find your boss, huh?" Patty asks.
"He lives in the apartments down the street. I think his apartment number is 712"
"Awww, see? Wasn't that easy?" Liz says condescendingly.
The man nods nervously, and Kid turns around, leaving the building with Liz and Patty in tow.
The three of them make their way to the apartment and begin to plan as they walk.
"Now, since we may have to fight, I want to see how well the two of you work with me as a meister for you. If things go south, we can change the plan, but let's go in guns blazing okay?" Kid tells them.
"I can get behind that. Can't turn down a good fight!"
As they approach the building, Kid gives them a signal and the two girls assume their gun forms. Starting off by holding them normally, Kid pauses.
"What's wrong dude, shouldn't we get in there before he decides to move?"
"Yes… but this feels wrong." He says, as he holds the two of them in front of him.
"Maybe if I switch hands with them…? No… Aiming sideways…? ….No…" he mumbles to himself.
"What the hell are you doing? Just pick a way to hold us and move, dammit!" Patty screeches at him.
"Just wait!" He yells back. "Aha, I've got it!"
Giving the two of them a good spin, he grasps them both, pinkies near the triggers as they're held upside down.
"That's better." He says as he enters the building.
The two girls stare in disbelief as he happily saunters his way to the apartment building.
Once they reach the correct apartment number, Kid wastes no time shooting the door down and jumping in. Immediately he's jumped by the kishin egg he'd been searching for and satisfaction settles in-
It's immediately apparent as the trio fights together. They're perfect for each other. Kid never realized it before, how powerful a soul connection could be, but as the three took down this kishin, he felt it- a connection that hadn't been there before- and he knew that these girls were going to be a big part of his life for a long time.

You write for FMAB, Right? Do you think if you could squeeze it in somewhere, write something about Al helping Ed with autmail pain? Preferably near the start or before canon, while als still in his armour. Assuming they live in like army barracks as well.
Yeah!! Thank you so much for the request, and the reminder that I will write for lots of different fandoms!! This might have deviated a bit from your original request, but I hope ya still like it!
Alphonse helping Edward through Automail pain
Al helping Ed with automail pains
Edward had always been a bit too ambitious and a bit too trusting of what his automail could handle. It was the bane of Winry's existence knowing that whenever Ed and Al came to visit, there was almost always something she needed to fix.
"Seriously Ed, you're putting yourself through a whole lot of unnecessary pain when you're being reckless! You need to be more careful!" She scolds him.
"It's no big deal, honestly! I trust you to be able to fix it and I've done this plenty of times before, it doesn't hurt that much anymore," he says, waving off her lecture.
She clicks her tongue and finishes connecting Ed's automail to his nervous system, which causes him to let out a screech of pain.
"Sure. It doesn't hurt," she scoffs.
He flushes in embarrassment, but doubles down.
"Well of course the first connection to my nervous system hurts! But after that it's fine!"
She rolls her eyes and waves him out of the room.
"Whatever! Just try to take care of yourself. I don't want to keep fixing you whenever you visit."
He stumbles his way out of the room, trying to readjust to his automail and trying to hide the obvious nerve pain from Winry.
She sighs and catches sight of Al waiting for his brother.
"Hey Al! Can I talk with you for a second?" She asks.
His looming figure nods and he clunks his way over to her.
"What did you need, Winry?" He asks, his voice young and unfitting for the armor he's attached to.
"Ed is being stubborn again and his automail is going to be sensitive for awhile until his body readjusts. Will you make sure he takes it easy?"
Al nods.
"Of course! I've gotta look after him somehow!" He says before running off after his brother.
.
.
.
Ed groans as he collapses into bed and Al makes his way into the room as quietly as possible.
"How's it going?" He asks.
"Terrible. I don't want to admit it to Winry, but it hurts like hell right now. Like the area where my arm and leg end and the automail begins is on fire."
Al sits down next to his brother and holds a metal hand up, revealing a bottle of painkillers and a heating pad.
"I know it won't make it all better, but I figured these might help!"
Ed flashes an exhausted smile at his brother and grabs the pill bottle with his non-automail hand, then points to his leg.
"Will you put that on my leg? That's where the worst of it is right now," Ed says.
Al helps get his brother situated and comfortable before settling on the floor next to him.
"Talk to me about something while these meds kick in okay?" Ed requests.
Al jumps, unsure of what to say.
"Uhhhhh… is there anything you want to talk about?"
"Well, how about when you get your body back? What's the first thing you want to do?"
"Oh gosh, there's so much that I will be able to do, I don't know if I'll be able to come up with one specific thing! Maybe eat? I don't even know what, but I just miss being able to enjoy a good meal,"
"Yeah? Well, when we get you back to your normal self I'll take you wherever you wanna go to eat. If there's a specific chef who's food ya wanna eat, I'll make damn sure they're there to cook for ya!" Ed says.
The two sit for awhile, discussing what they'll do whenever they get their situation figured out.
"You know… I know you're in a lot of pain right now, and maybe this sounds weird, but in a way I kind of miss pain. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to get myself injured when I'm back! I just miss being able to have the full human experience, yknow?" Al explains.
Ed turns to face his brother.
"Yeah, I can understand what you mean. Don't worry, we're going to get you back to normal soon. I'm sure of it!" He says, holding out his fist.
Al gently bumps his own metal fist to his brothers and Ed rolls onto his back.
"Thanks for distracting me. I'm not feeling quite as bad anymore."
"Oh good! Just let me know if you need anything, okay? It's the least I can do right now."
Ed nods and starts drifting to sleep. Al lays down on the ground, staring quietly at the ceiling and finding quiet ways to entertain himself until his brother wakes up again.

Okay okay. Corny as hell, but who doesn't love corn: modern deathstar AU wherein DTK is a werewolf and it's fluffy as hell.
This is really cute! I honestly wasn't sure how I was going to start this, but I ended up writing way more than I anticipated! Hope ya like it as much as I liked writing it! <3
Death*Star Werewolf AU
Shit. Kid stared at the reminder on his phone and looked up at the quickly darkening night sky, then back to his group of friends who were beginning to get ahead of him.
“Everybody, I apologize, but I have to leave…immediately.” he calls out.
“Oh, is everything okay?” Maka calls out.
Kid pauses.
“Yes, everything is fine. I’m pretty sure I just nudged a portrait on my way out and if I don’t fix it, I swear the world might end.”
His friends seem to accept the answer, used to his usual quirks, and Kid quickly makes the trek back to his manor.
Once he’s inside, he feels an immediate sense of relief.
“That was too close. I can’t believe that I forgot tonight was our full moon. I’ll explain it eventually, but damn I need to be more careful!” Kid says to himself.
He sighs, going to his room to prepare himself for the transformation ahead of him.
As the moonlight begins to trickle in, he feels the shift in his body. Luckily this time seems to be a not-so-painful cycle. When the fur and fangs make it to their full size, he sighs in relief, relaxing momentarily before he slinks up from his nest of blankets and stares at his reflection in his bedroom mirror.
“Hey Kid! There’s no way it could take that long to fix a stupid painting! Ol’ Black*Star is here to help so we can get back to our game night!”
Kid freezes as the door to his bedroom slams open and Black*Star barges in. The two make eye contact and suddenly Black*Star is on the defensive.
“What the hell is going on here? What did you do to my friend?” He asks forcefully, his palms twitching with soul energy.
“Black*Star, wait!” Kid says, putting his hands up and shrinking back. “I know it doesn’t look like it right now, but it is me. I’m Death the Kid”
Black*Star pauses, hearing the voice of his friend and eventually feeling the familiar soul resonance of Kid. He drops his stance and slowly approaches Kid, poking and prodding at his furry form.
“Hey, I never knew you were a furry! Did you make this yourself?”
“Black*Star!” Kid groans.
Kid sighs and sits down on the edge of his bed.
“I’m not a furry, I'm a werewolf. If I were a furry, I’d get to choose when and where this happens. There’s a reason I ran off and it wasn’t about a stupid painting!”
Black*Star pauses for a moment before sitting down next to Kid.
“Oh! That makes way more sense. I was wondering why you would just randomly disappear some nights.”
Kid snorts, then shyly looks over to Black*Star.
“So, you aren’t scared… or upset by this?” he asks.
“Nah! Furry, werewolf, reaper… regardless, you’re Kid! I like you no matter what you look like. You have way more self-control than what I’ve heard about werewolves though. You sure that’s not a fursuit?”
Kid laughs. “No, it is not a fursuit. There’s a common misconception that werewolves lose all sense of self when they transform. Maybe that’s the case for those who were previously human, but no. I am able to remain with almost full control of myself.”
“Almost full control? What, do you get hardcore cravings to like, attack cow farms or deer or something?”
“Not so much that, though I do tend to crave raw meat a lot more and when my father throws a ball… this pisses me off so much… I can’t help but go fetch it!”
“Oh my god dude! So you just turn into a total dog! Hardly a wolf at all!”
Kid grumbles and rolls his eyes.
“Are there other dog-like things about you when you’re in wolf form?” Black*Star asks.
“Like what?”
“Well… Like…” Black*Star hesitates as he reaches up and begins to scratch behind the ears that have sprouted from Kid’s head, “Do you like head scratches?”
Kid feels his face heat up in embarrassment.
“Aha! You do like it! Look at that tail go!”
Reluctantly, Kid looks back to see his tail wagging involuntarily. He pouts.
“This is an embarrassment. I hate it.”
Black*Star stops petting him, but is still chuckling at the situation.
“Sorry dude, you know I have to poke fun at you a little bit. I didn’t mean to take the joke too far.”
“Thanks, I appreciate it.” Kid huffs.
The two sit quietly for a moment before Kid begins to fidget uncomfortably and then lets out an exasperated sigh.
“If you want to give me head scratches, you can!” he grumbles.
Black*Star lights up and immediately tugs Kid so his head is in his lap and begins to vigorously give scritches like Kid is a stray puppy.
“I swear to god, you better not tell anyone about this.” Kid says, tail wagging excitedly. “I won’t mention that you’re a werewolf, but if you ever decide to tell our friends, they’re gonna know all your weaknesses!”

I know this is not a request but, as a soul eater fan i wanna ask, have you ever been curious to know what the witches' backstories are? like eruka, kim, medusa, arachne shaula, etc. what are your thoughts? I'm just curious. you don't have to answer.
Oh 100%! Like, we do get a teeny tiny bit of background on Kim if you look at both the manga and at Soul Eater Not, but like, it's such a tiny amount I wish we would have been able to get more!
And I definitely would love to get a deeper background on Eruka! She's one of my favorites of the witches (I just really like frogs!)
It also would make a lot of sense to get more background on any or all of the Gorgon witches. Like, they end up being the big baddies but we only get tiny glimpses of their history. They have so much that could be explored!
Thanks for the question, Anon!

Lord Death parenting baby Kid?
Kinda just went through the stages of Kid’s infancy here too lol, but this was really cute! Thank you for the request!
Lord Death parenting Kid
Kid was always an interesting character to take care of since the day Death had split him off from himself. Even when he was tiny and couldn’t speak, he was always so particular! It took a lot for Lord Death to understand his son at first. Sometimes Kid would start crying because he was hungry, and other times he would begin crying because something in his line of sight bothered him, though it took Kid being able to toddle around for Lord Death to understand why some sights would frustrate him.
Some days it would take hours on end for Death to comfort Kid, but he never gave up on it! It wasn’t as if he needed sleep, so Death could give his full attention whenever it was needed. He worked hard each minute too. Reapers have much more advanced abilities than humans, and since they don’t need as much sleep, Lord Death would spend hours reading aloud to Kid, helping him strengthen his tiny muscles, and slowly teaching him how to be a person.
Kid was easily able to crawl by 6 months and began to walk at a whopping 8 months! Lord Death was always so excited for every milestone, aware that they would happen much faster and pass quickly. He kept a camera with him at all times during Kid’s infancy, making sure he would never miss a single moment! Lord Death is absolutely a scrapbook kind of dad, and kept DVDs of Kid first learning to walk and speak, as well as books on books of photos of Kid’s growth. He cried happy tears so hard when Kid’s first word was “Dad!”.
It was around this time that Lord Death finally began picking up on some of his son’s quirks. Whenever Kid would play with toys, his form of play would involve a lot of organizing. Simple puzzles are what he leaned towards the most. Kid was very quick to pick up on the circle going into the circle shaped hole. He would also toddle about the house and whenever there was something a little off in an otherwise symmetrical display, Kid would nudge it or point to it and cry until it was fixed. Lord Death was able to quickly realize what parts of himself were given to Kid and how that was manifesting.
One part of their relationship remained constant though. Lord Death would spend any time where Kid was not sleeping, eating, or playing by reading to him. Some of the best nights of his life were with Kid curled up in his arms as Lord Death read story after story until Kid would eventually fall asleep.
.
.
.
“Father, you keep staring at me. Why?”
Lord Death shook himself out of his thoughts, giving a small chuckle as he stared at the confused teen sitting in front of him.
“Hmmm? Oh nothing to worry about Kiddo! I was just thinking about how proud I am of you!”

Dtk, but it's his SCP document headed by Stein and co-headed by maka. :)
I was also asked to add some angst to this, and there is some angst there if ya squint a little bit, but I may have written this a little too clinically for it to hit the same way as some of my other fics lol. Maybe I'll write something later on about Kid's reaction to seeing an SCP entry written about him??
Death the Kid's SCP document:
Maka made her way up the creepy path to her teacher’s lab. She clasped the journal she held close to her chest, fiddling with the edges of the pages as she entered the lab.
“Professor? I’m here!” She calls out.
She waits for a moment before the familiar sound of Stein’s rolling chair makes its way down the hall.
“There you are, alright, you brought the info, correct?” he asks, peering at her from over his glasses.
Maka nods, handing him the journal she was clinging to. Stein opens it and begins to read.
“ Object Class: Euclid
Disruption Class: Keneq
Risk Class: Warning
Special Containment Procedures: N/A
Description: This SCP resembles a young human boy (currently aged about 14, though this SCP seems to age as any human would). He is referred to as “Death the Kid” but has insisted on being called “Kid” as a shortened name. He has black hair that he keeps very tidy, with three white stripes on the left side of his head that do not seem to be affected by dyes of any sort (much to the dismay of this SCP and their affinity for symmetry). This SCP also has pale skin and bright gold eyes that they state is “common amongst reapers”. For the most part, this SCP has a tendency to dress in dark gothic style clothing and is particular about their clothing being as symmetrical as possible. This quirk of desiring symmetry is a strong subject for this SCP and if any asymmetrical aspect of themselves is pointed out, they will go into a self-loathing state and refuse to move unless they have been reassured that their symmetry does not make them a horrible being.
Other physical attributes of this SCP include his skin being cold to the touch and they do not appear to have a heartbeat or a need to breathe. Regular growth of hair and nails seems to take a much longer time in comparison to an average human. They are also immune to poisons and have a more accelerated rate of healing than an average human.
This SCP seems to behave as most other human teenagers would. Their emotions can be erratic at times and the sight of any asymmetrical object or being puts them into a state of discomfort until the subject is fixed.
Additional Information: This SCP contains a very strong soul power that can become even more dangerous if they feel their life is threatened. During periods of intense struggle, the lines in their hair begin to detach and form complete halos around their head. Upon full connection, their power becomes more intense and he has the ability to affect people around him with the wavelength his soul gives off. However, this SCP is much more rational and compassionate than other anomalies and has chosen not to display the full capabilities of what that additional power can do.
While he does interact and get along well with others, this SCP is also rather distant and seems to struggle creating strong connections with multiple people, especially humans. They sometimes become reserved and withdrawn when involved in social situations. However, they also tend to overcompensate for these moments by immediately becoming a centralized attention with lighthearted behavior that may seem disingenuous at the start. ”
Stein reads over the journal entry once more, then rolls back to his computer, pulling up a document where he begins to viciously type in every detail and more.
“It needs a little touching up and some more details here and there, but good work, Maka. Thank you for participating in this extra credit research. Please let me know if you can think of any additional information!” he tells her as he continues his typing.
“Of course! Thank you for the research opportunity, Professor!”

So Arachne is a spider, yes?
And did you know spiders don't like peppermint?
So does Arachne not like peppermint?
I like to imagine an au where Kid did research on spiders before the arachne battle, and when the aprtoi come face to face with her, he just whips out a spray bottle of peppermint extract and sprays it in her face.
She just like yowls and is like "NOOOOO YOU HENIOUS BRAT HOW DID YOU KNOOOOWW?"
And now the entire of spartoi + teachers are laughing their ass off as Arachne is curled up in a ball on the floor and Kid is dead-faced and completely serious as he repetitvely sprays down at her.
He has two more bottles locked and loaded.
This IS a fic request.
This request gave me a good giggle! I like the thought of witches sharing similar weaknesses to their familiars! Thank you! (Also this is one of the most lighthearted fics I've written for this fandom so far lol)
Kid taking down Arachne with the power of peppermint essential oils:
Kid was completely prepared for this moment. He had been researching witches in depth since he knew they were a threat. When he learned about Arachne and her organization Arachnophobia, he figured that finding ways to keep spiders away was going to be a smart idea. Planting peppermint around the academy and spraying every potential entryway with citrus was the start to ensure there weren’t spiders creeping in to spy on the academy for Arachne.
During his research on witches though, Kid also found that witches tend to carry a lot of the same traits and habits of their familiars. Figuring that there could be no harm by trying, Kid tucked away some peppermint sprays as he and the academy prepped themselves to ambush Arachnophobia’s headquarters.
Infiltrating the base was rough, but Kid managed to keep a lot of their positions secured by repelling lingering spiders in the area with his DIY sprays. The long nights putting together concoctions to keep the academy secured and ignoring Liz and Patty’s jabs about him getting carried away with all of his “DIY Spider Repellant” videos was paying off.
Each team split up to find each major villain in the base, and Kid was going to make sure that he was on the team to find Arachne. As his group ran through the halls, they came across a large set of doors. Slowly, the group pushed them open, only to be pulled in through the doors by first, their eyes traveled up a large web to see Arachne staring down at them.
They were face to face with her now- her eyes were mocking, as if they were all flies caught in a web.
“I must admit, you did a splendid job at avoiding my babies. How did you manage to keep them away from you?” she asked as she slowly lowered herself from her webbed throne.
The second she touched the ground, Kid lunged forward, lobbing a gas can full of his peppermint spray her way. Once the scent hit her nose, she froze up, her eyes watering, and her demeanor changing to one of panic and anger.
“So this is how you got here. By using cheap tricks to upset my spiders!”
As the spray continued to swirl higher around her, she began coughing and finding a way to escape the cloud of minty fresh gas surrounding her.
Kid caught a glimpse of his teammates and teachers as he moved in further to continue bombarding Arachne with sprays until she gave in. Everyone seemed to be in a state of amused shock at the sight.
“Well, are you just going to stand there and wait for me to run out of this?” Kid calls out to them.
Luck was on the academy’s side as they all went in for the capture. Arachne was infuriated, her ego shot at being captured by something so simple. As she plotted her escape, she knew that a change would need to be made and also began the plans for a mask to keep out any scents that would throw her into coughing fits.

Can I request a scenario where witch baby was with Mifune and Angela instead of the DWMA, and when Blackstar fought Mifune witch baby followed him home?
This is cute!! Thanks for the request!
Witch Baby following Black*Star home after the first fight with Mifune:
It was bad enough for Black*Star when he saw one little witch come to the aid of Mifune, begging him not to hurt the man. If that hadn’t already convinced him to drop the situation, a second, even smaller witch came and started to join Angela in pounding against Black*Star’s legs with their tiny fists.
“Wait- I thought Angela was the only witch with you,” Black*Star says.
“She is the only one the world has heard about so far. Bahamut recently joined us and we’ve been doing our best to keep them a secret,” Mifune explains, his voice wavering from the intensity of the battle.
Black*Star turns his back to them and begins to walk away.
“I don’t want to kill a child if I can help it. There’s no honor in hurting someone who doesn’t stand a chance.”
Tsubaki nods in agreement and the two leave the scene.
.
.
.
As they make their way back to the academy, Black*Star stops.
“Hey Tsubaki, usually wavelengths stop feeling so strong by this distance. Do you see anything?”
The two look around until Tsubaki spots the origin of the wavelength.
“Black*Star, behind you! Isn’t that one of the witches Mifune was protecting?” she asks.
Black*Star turns around only to see the smaller witch, the one Mifune called Bahamut, floating along on a small broomstick heading in their direction. It takes a minute, but Bahamut finally catches up to them.
Black*Star crouches down, curious about what this kid could want.
Bahamut steps off the broom and stands proudly in front of Black*Star.
“I wanna be big and strong like you! I wanna help Mifune!”
Black*Star looks up at Tsubaki who gives him a look that says, “this kid is talking to you, what’s next is your choice”. He sighs and looks back at Bahamut, giving the kid a big thumbs up.
“Alright, looks like we have similar goals. We both want to be stronger! Come on then, I’ll take you with me and help you train. Don’t worry- I’ll protect you like Mifune did until you get even stronger, okay?”
Bahamut nods excitedly and hops back on their broom, keeping up with Black*Star and Tsubaki as they make their way back to the academy as a team. It was going to take some convincing, he was sure, but Black*Star would bring back up if he felt that Lord Death would try anything to put Bahamut in danger.

Oh cool Also, in that case, how about a fic where after the events of the manga, Kid starts taking his stress and grief (and some of that trauma from being kidnapped) out on Spirit, telling him it's all his fault because he didn't do his job in the first place and stick beside his father like he was supposed to. Mostly because he can't bare the thought that he himself might be responsible :)
I got reeeeeally carried away with the angst on this one! So we're definitely giving some warnings for it! Thank you for the request!! <3 And your endless patience!
Post-Manga angst with Spirit and Kid
Warnings: Alcoholism, heavy swearing, drunk rage
*Ending up to interpretation on whether it's positive or negative*
Spirit was used to being lashed out against. He didn’t always make the best decisions in life, but he was also in a highly stressful and dangerous position. It took a lot of mental fortitude to be in his position. The thoughts of the enemy never bothered him. Why would he give the time of day to the thoughts of his targets? It did hurt though, whenever his daughter rejected him, or when one of his coworkers decided to point out anything that wasn’t up to their standards, or when Lord Death wouldn’t take him seriously.
He had some rough days, but nothing a night out drinking on his day off couldn’t fix for him. Though he hated to admit it, after the final battle for the academy, he found himself going to the bars more than once a week. He found that every night was becoming more and more rough and that on top of his rocky relationship with Maka, the most stressful part about work now was interacting with Kid, who had become his new boss since Lord Death’s passing.
Spirit could take criticism just fine, but there was a difference between saying “Hey, you need to put in more focus to get this paper work done” and saying “Of course you don’t have your work done. You’ve always been the most useless Death Scythe. Why did my father ever keep you around?” At first, he took the comments in stride. Kid was overwhelmed with power and responsibility and didn’t see how or when his father died. Spirit figured that overtime, the comments would become less harsh, but no matter what effort Spirit put in to try and make Kid’s life easier, there was no pleasing him. It was as if Kid had latched all of his grief, anger, and confusion onto Spirit. Still, Spirit felt there was nowhere for him to go, so he stayed with the academy and bottled up the feelings that were being thrust upon him every day.
He’d stopped going to ChupaCabra’s after his drinking binges started to become more frequent. He already had a reputation there and he couldn’t stand the thought of making it worse. So he found a little hole-in-the-wall bar in Death City that he decided to frequent instead.
The night was the same as each one that had come before it. One drink turned into two, into three, into one shot, into many. He didn’t question the practices of the bar, he was just glad to go somewhere to drink so he at least wasn’t alone.
As he sat, nursing his 4th drink and the bartender letting him know that he’d finished off another bottle of vodka, Spirit’s phone began to ring. The noise was grating on his ears, but still, he grabbed the phone and answered, only for Kid’s vitriolic voice to ring in from the other side. It immediately soured Spirit’s mood, but he composed himself as much as he could as he pieced together Kid’s demands for him to get back to the academy and help him.
Spirit absentmindedly hangs up the phone, approaching the counter and throwing some cash to the bartender.
“‘M leavin. Gimme a beer for the road, kay’?” he slurs.
The bartender complies and Spirit stumbles his way back up to the academy. He isn’t sure how long it takes. He hasn’t been sure how long anything has taken in months. Still, he climbs his way up the stairs and shuffles his way to the Death Room, certain that he himself looks like death.
He meets Kid’s gaze, the bottle of beer loosely dangling in his right hand. There’s an immediate look of rage in Kid’s eyes.
“You’re drunk. Again.”
“N’ yet, you still asked me to be here” Spirit mumbles.
Kid stands and Spirit isn’t sure what’s going to happen next. Kid takes a deep breath then lets out a frustrated screech as he kicks his chair hard, it crashes against the floor and Kid whips back around, stomping his way up to Spirit.
“Is this what you did instead of staying and protecting my father? Did you fuck off and get piss drunk while everyone else was fighting Asura?”
Spirit’s eye twitches and the anger he’s been feeling everyday begins to boil up inside of him.
“You know that’s not what happened,” he says.
“Sure, maybe you didn’t go off and get drunk while we were fighting, but certainly that war wouldn’t have needed to happen if you were just able to do your damn job!”
Spirit snaps, the anger taking over and he turns, chucking his beer bottle against the wall. It shatters, littering the room with shards of glass and the distinct scent of yeast-y alcohol.
“I’m fucking tired of this! If you think I’m a piece of shit, just fire me already. I’m done being your emotional punching bag just because you can’t accept your dad’s death. Have you ever thought that maybe the one who killed him isn’t the enemy? Didn’t that annoying little mouse Excalibur say that? Those stupid lines in your hair- that was his timer. So, instead of blaming everything else in the world- instead of blaming me for an entire war that would have happened anyway, maybe look in the mirror and realize that your dad is dead because of you!”
The two are silent as they stare in shock at each other. Spirit immediately regrets it and slumps against the wall, sliding to the floor and putting his pounding heads in his hands.
Kid shifts uncomfortably, straightening up but remaining silent.
“God, I’m a piece of shit- I just screamed at a teenager because I’m a garbage human being. M’ sorry, Kid. I won’t bother coming back in. This isn’t working.”
Kid lets out a deep breath.
“No. Sober up and come back in on Monday. I need your help with this.”
He turns to leave, the tension in the air heavy. He looks at Spirit, sitting crumpled pathetically on the ground.
“Just Your help.” Kid emphasizes before leaving the Death Room.
Spirit stares in the direction of the door, trying to process what Kid said to him. Unable to decide if this was progress between them, Spirit slowly hobbled his way to the broken glass bottle, picking up the pieces before heading out. He figured that he’d find out on Monday.

"Heyo, are you good???"
***Tldr at bottom***
Well hello there, friends! I hope you've all been doing well.
I have been... generally a hot mess. If you couldn't tell already, my time management skills are not my strongest suit, but I have recently just kindof disappeared entirely.
Firstly, I am alive and physically okay!
But! I am mentally hanging on by the tiniest of threads right now.
Currently I'm in my final semester of uni finishing a degree in teaching. Part of that involves a sortof internship where I act as a teacher in a licensed teacher's classrom for two periods of 8 weeks.
Those first 8 weeks were great! That's when I was consistently active and loving what I was doing!
This second class however, has been a slight disaster piece. My students are great! I have no real issues with teaching them! My mentor teacher on the otherhand, spent the first 2 1/2 weeks only telling me what I was doing wrong. And lordy, with the constant negative criticism, the change from a classroom I loved to a completely different structure, tight finances, and a huge list of other stressors- I finally hit my breaking point and had an entire nervous breakdown on Wednesday!
I'm doing much better than that now, but unfortunately I still have a lot on my plate and can't add anything onto that right now.
So unfortunately that means I'm taking a small break. However, there is an end in sight for this! I have a 5 day break starting on November 23rd and then I will be completely finished by December 9th.
So I will be returning officially on November 26th! That will give me plenty of time to write requests for the poor souls waiting in my inbox, and enough time to be destressed for those final 2 weeks of my semester.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me to check in 💕 and thank you for sticking with me! Your support means the world to me!
I hope to still see y'all here on November 26th 💕
Tldr: Graduating is rough, I'm stressed af, I'll be back on November 26th!
