Dark Energy

I can feel your energy,

I can feel it taking over my body,

I wish I didn’t, I wish it wouldn’t

It pulls me down,...down, down, down

I just want to cry,

I just want to run,

I just want to scream.

I get annoyed at you,

I get annoyed at me,

I wish you wouldn’t let it win

But instead it fills the house,

I can almost see it in the air,

If I go to bed, will it still be here tomorrow?

There’s nothing I can do,

I try to hug you, but you prefer the dog,

I feel like you’re mad at me, but I know you’re not,

I honestly know you’re not!

Anything that comes out of my mouth is met with snaps!

I know everything, yet I know nothing,

You’d think I would know how to handle this, but I don’t,

There’s been plenty of times to learn, and not just from you.

I could probably handle it if it wasn’t so regular,

I barely have time to enjoy the good,

Or I could probably deal with it if I had someone to talk to,

But she left three years ago, now I feel so alone.

My fluffy Family <3 <3 <3

Fluffy Family

I love my little family,

They’re a bit different to yours,

Yours might have cute little booties,

Mine have cute little paws.

Mine follow me from room to room,

They fight over who sits on my lap,

They don’t give me any room in bed,

When I sleep at night, or go for a nap.

They have fluffy little butts,

And cold, wet noses,

They have really stinky breath,

Which certainly don’t smell like roses.

They rely on me for everything,

Like yours rely on you,

You love your babies to the moon and back,

I love mine exactly the same amount too.

The Good days

I always write about your bad days,

I never write about the good,

And I’ve been thinking to myself lately,

It’s about time I probably should.

I love when you’re happy in the morning,

And you call out from our bed,

Sometimes it’s absolute gibberish,

I haven’t a clue what you’ve actually said.

Then you smile and say “morning beautiful”,

And you pick up our fluffy little Joe,

You’re off to the kitchen together,

And bring me my own (slightly different) cup of joe.

You make us a tasty breakfast,

Which is usually eggs on toast,

We give the dogs their breakfast,

The part of the day they love the most.

This probably doesn’t sound like much,

But it really is the small things in life,

That bring you the most amount of happiness,

I really do love our perfect home life. 

... And that’s just the morning

I love my little family,

Presence

A lovely walk along the beach,

Lunch with my best friends,

Movie night with my love,

Some of my favourite things.

Travelling to new and exciting places,

Travelling to see my family,

Travelling for a new adventure

Things that bring me joy.

These are some of the things that bring me happiness,

Not thinking of anything but the happiness, happiness.

But then like a rug from under my feet I’m floored,

I used to do all of these things with you.

Christmas has never been the same,

It’s been good! Just not the same,

Getting good news is not the same,

No one gives me the enthusiasm that you did.

But I love that you’re always with me,

I know that you’re always with me,

It’s the hardest thing being without you,

But I can get through it because you’re with me.

Whispers from my heart

I whisper I love you because you’ve just gone off to sleep,

I whisper your name and it’s in my heart to keep,

You bring me a special light into a darkened room,

Your first ‘dada’ can’t come too soon.

Everything has changed since I first held you,

A rainbow has more colour,more light, more love.

When you cry I cry with you, when you laugh, so do I.

When you smile just to see, my heart seems to fly.

In such a short time here, you’ve changed so many lives.

The character you’re becoming, may you be strong and kind and wise.

I whisper my true feelings not because they are hidden.

Whispers from my heart, my love to you I am giving.

Before you were born, I knew that I’d love you.

But I never realised just how big my heart was.

To hold such a large place for you.

Hello you beautiful human,

Yes you, I’m talking to you,

I know how hard you are working,

To do the things you feel you have to do.

You find it hard to get out of bed,

You can’t even just open the curtains,

You don’t want any food for breakfast,

Now that, I know for certain.

But you’re reading this for a reason,

You didn’t come on my page by chance,

I’m here to tell you a glorious message,

One to make you get out of bed and dance!

It’s going to get better my darling,

I’m not talking to anyone else but you,

You’re perfect the way you’ve been created,

There’s no one else who is anything like you.

So stop trying to look like them,

And realize how beautiful you are,

Stop comparing yourself to others,

Stop so highly setting the bar.

Chin up babe, you’ve got this,

Just carry on the way that you are.

Your life is going to be perfect,

No words

I’m so bad with words,

I just don’t know what to say,

But the truth is that i do,

But anxiety just gets in the way.

I’m scared to say to the wrong thing,

I’m scared to make you mad,

I’m scared you’ll tell me to shut up,

Because you’re feeling sad.

I want to tell you you’re amazing,

I want to tell you you’re the best,

I want to tell you you make me so happy,

I want to tell you i like the way you’re dressed.

But i know you won’t believe me,

And i know that’s not your fault,

It just tears me up inside,

Cause depression has you caught.

I wanna rip it from your body,

I wanna pull it out your mind,

I wanna throw it into Space

I hate how it’s made you blind.

I hate hearing that you want to die,

It kills me inside too,

What hurts the most is I’m powerless

What’s tragic is so are you.

I wish I could give you my eyes,

So you’d see the things that i see,

You’d know how fucking wonderful,

You are to everyone and me!

You’d know how cool we think you are,

How much people want you to like them,

you never message anyone back,

But they still continue to send them.

Cause you’re so fucking amazing babe,

I tell you everyday,

You have the sexiest bum in the whole wide world,

I would marry it if there was a way.

But seriously babe, I love you

I love everything about you,

I love your face, love your soul

I can’t imagine my life without you.

So please keep going, I know it’s hard,

I wish there was a way I could help you,

The best I can do is just be here,

And wait for this dark cloud to leave.

I’m always here

I wish I could make it all better,

I wish I could take all the pain,

I’d put it in a box and destroy it,

So you wouldn’t feel it again. 

I wish I could make you happy,

I hate when I see you so blue,

I just feel so incredibly useless,

When I know that there’s nothing I can do.

So all I can do is hold you,

Until you are all out of tears,

And all i can do is feed you,

And supply you with plenty of beers.

I’ll stay by your side until morning,

without even saying a word,

I’ll listen and listen forever,

Until you feel that you’ve been heard.

We’ll sort out this problem together,

You know that we always do,

My priorities are definitely in order,

There’s no one I love more than you

Lets Spend the Day

Lets Spend the day together, and just walk hand in hand

Let’s spend the day together, for some that seems so bland

Let’s not spend a penny, and appreciate the sun

Let’s wake up super early, when the light has just begun

Let’s walk amongst the flowers, and smell them as we please

Let’s walk along the river, and hug all of the trees

Let’s sing a song together, and sing with all the birds

Let’s think up tunes together, and come up with wonderous words

Let’s Spend the day together, and just walk hand in hand

Let’s spend the day together, and appreciate our land
