hopping in to let you guys know that you should not let this post irritate or stress you out. its fine to struggle during your 20s and onward. even before that.

chances are, your friends struggle too. everyone is trying to find their place in life. people study, move away, have kids, you name it. its hard to catch up with it all. and that is valid and real.

but that does not mean that if at a certain point of time, if you have no friends and/or lovelife or regular contact to the people in question youre doomed to spend your time alone forever. theres no deadline.

from personal experience, you find the best people around you when you stop putting pressure on yourself and know how to enjoy spending time alone. ofc you can seek to find activities where youre most likely to find like minded people. but dont stress yourself out about your age or if making new connections doesnt work out immediately.

a lot of young girls need to realize that keeping friendships alive gets so hard after high school/uni and that you have to actively nurture your friendships if you want them to last yes even the friendships of 2 decades….. your 20s are so disorienting and trauamtizing no one can afford to take friendships for granted… everybody worries about not finding a romantic partner lets start worrying about being friendless by the time you hit 30

#this is coming from someone who struggles a lot with there fears #keeping up and staying in touch is HARD #lets have some reassurances here rather than spread fear

hiii i’m a beginner and I absolutely love your art style, do you have any tips for beginner artists? thank you

The only tips that actually work I think are:

1. practice and use references! Barely anyone will be able to draw a bicycle from memory but only after proper study, patience and practice ! That applies to literally anything else you might want to draw.🌝

2. Specifically for beginners, I suggest you try a lot of different art styles and forms, just to see whats most fun for you!

3. have fun and try to not put a lot of pressure on yourself, dont compare yourself with others too much. art is not a competition and those other artists arent your competitors, but more like your friendly collegues that you can learn c00l new things from!

4. buy cute art supplies its retail therapy

Ladybug and Chat Noir have a rooftop sleepover with pillows and blankets and snacks and Chat Noir tries to stay up as long as possible to maximize his Buguinette time and as he’s lying on his side fighting to keep his head up & his eyes open Ladybug says they can go to sleep if he’s tired but Chat Noir insists that he’s Not Tired Yet bc he wants to keep talking to her and finally Ladybug challenges him like “sooo it won’t be a problem if i start doing this” and starts running her hand through his hair and her Chaton manages to mumble out a “not at all ive never been more awake in my life” right before he knocks out cold and if Ladybug kept petting his hair and watching his sleeping face for longer than necessary no one would know

Conditions:

I would charge additional 10€ if the commissions requires me to draw the character(s) full-body. I would prefer to draw young characters of the Miraculous universe, including Nathalie and Gabriel. So, basically, if they use and/or own a Miraculous, theyre on my “preferred” list. The rest, I dont care about as much. My favorite character is Adrien. My favorite ship is the love square. Other ships that I enjoy are: marigami, adrigami, adrinino, lukzoe ! But I would draw any ships, really.  Any big age gap ships are big no-no. No incest ships pls😭 Big no-no. Im fine with AUs. But! I wont draw new complex designs unless I get a single clear reference OR am given full liberty in creating designs of my own. Since I have a tight schedule, I wont draw anything with more than two characters (so no poly ships or big group hugs, sorry!;;). I wont be depicting complex scenes with many details. Also no backgrounds.
