Life and Technology: How the Digital Age Enhances Our Life

21st-century technology has been incorporated into our lives ever since the creation of it, making our daily lives more proficient and functional. The inclusion of technology in the work-life-student balance has been enhanced as I do everyday work/school tasks with quality. Not only in our professional aspect but in our personal lives- technology is immensely ingrained in our personal lives- there are times that you will think that it honestly runs your life as if you do not have a grasp on reality. Technology is evolving- as evolvement is made, it escalates the livelihood of everyone, further meeting the demands that technology has set for our world.

Existing in a world where technology has an absolute advantage daily. For instance, I use both an iPad and a laptop in my academics, as this makes the quality of my tasks beyond the standard. In addition, both devices are used whenever I review since they make me more adequate in remembering my lectures and retaining lessons. Furthermore, the involvement of technology in my line of work helps me as I can easily take notes on my phone and keep track of the tasks I need to finish. For my future line of work, technological advancement helps medicine immensely since it assists the unwell and treats them in minimally invasive procedures. Also, getting diagnosed has been more uncomplicated and safe since minimal bodily tests you can get diagnosed that do not require surgeries. The impact of technology on my personal life has been satisfactory as this helps me compartmentalize my needs- mainly, I use my phone to sort my schedule out as I have to balance my life. In terms of media consumption, I use it to navigate TikTok and other social media apps. But for the most part, I actually use it to see how the K-pop idols are doing and if there are going to be new releases of songs or concert dates.

To sum it all up, technology has impacted our ways culturally and our daily lives. Some think that it makes our lives more effective- some contradict the idea that people tend to lose their grasp on reality as they are being consumed by technology instead of guzzling it. In the end, people must be reminded that technology is there to help rather than letting it dictate our lives since technology is there to improve our world rather than letting it demise all things existing.
