People in majorities always undervalue representation for minority groups and it's really frustrating because I hear a ton of "we don't need anymore of that" or "that stuff is everywhere now" when we DO need more and it's NOT everywhere.
I see a single same sex couple in a commercial or something and I get a shot of serotonin directly into my brain. I can only begin to imagine how it must feel for even more oppressed groups, like genderqueer people or PoC's when they see people of their own groups in media and other places.
Representation is super important, and there's always more to be fought for. As long as there's one person who gets a rush from seeing their group in something, we need more.

So I just finished reading The Rift and it was great but I have one pretty huge problem: general old irons link to combustion bending, or rather, lack thereof. The writers made a super powerful spirit with an eye in the middle of it's forehead but didn't connect it to combustion bending at all??????? Especially since we have practically no canon knowledge of combustion bending????? I get that it was written around book 2 of legend of korra (I think, someone correct me if I'm wrong) so spirits were a big focus, but still. It had so much potential and it just didn't happen. What does everyone else think??

Also news is hard for me to keep up with so if there's any LGBTQ+ that also got elected that I missed, please add them so we can celebrate everyone!!
Guys we got 5 LGBTQ+ politicians elected, two of which are Black gay men, and the other three are trans women!!
-Ritchie Torres, who was also the the first LGBTQ person to represent the Bronx on the NYC city council, beat Rubén Díaz, who has been anti-LGBTQ in the past
-Mondaire Jones, who beat four others in a five way election
-Sarah McBride, who is now the first trans senator in the U.S., and is also the current press secretary for the Human Rights Campaign
-Taylor Small, the first trans person to be on Vermont state legislature, who is also the director of the Pride Center of Vermont which is a nonprofit that provides LGBTQ+ aid in that state
-Stephanie Byers, the first trans Native American woman to serve in Kansas, and thus the first Native American trans woman in the country, although her win isn't official yet as the mail-in votes haven't been counted
This is a big win, people!! So many doors can be opened by these 5!!! Get excited!!!!! Stay Proud!!!!!

So I have a theory that the afterlife or whatever reached max capacity a while ago and their solution was automatic doors
Like each door is actually just operated by ghosts
And when they finish their shifts they swap out with other ghosts
