mini fic request. Uhh how about during Hyrule showing off his fairy spell Wars fucking losses it over how adorable he is. He’s just a little guy, a little fairy, and my hc that persists over every links meet AU is that Wars loves fairies. So Wars the fairy adorer adores Hyrule’s fairy form. Sorry, I’m obsessing over this so I’m trying so hard to be coherent

“Traveller??” Warriors gasped, looking at him with wide blue eyes. “Is that you??”

Hyrule flew around his head, chiming happily. He’d forgotten how freeing it felt to fly around, and while he hadn’t been expecting the good captain to find him in the woods in this form, he wasn’t worried. He knew his brother loved fairies, and that fairies loved Warriors. It wasn’t uncommon for fairies to swarm him whenever they were around.

He watched the captain’s eyes light up and a wide, genuine grin spread across the man’s face as he cupped his hands for Hyrule to fly into. The traveller did, landing softly and running over to hug Warriors’s thumb.

“Oh my Hylia, Rulie,” he whispered, blinking at him with a big smile. “You’re a fairy???”

“Part fairy,” he nodded, flying up and around his brother’s head, landing in his hair. He completely understood why the other fairies loved the man so much, he could feel the magic radiating off of him, and Warriors gave off a very comforting energy. Plus his overall enthusiasm and pure joy at being in the presence of fae was nice after having met people that had a negative reaction to it.

“That’s so cool!” Warriors laughed when Hyrule lightly tugged on his hair.

It WAS pretty cool.
