Z used to be a normal human.

He loved animals and his family with all of his soul, he loved taking care of them and he loved knowing that they loved him back. He was gentle with sick animals and people, he was always nice to everyone.

As everyone will do one day, he died, as expected trying to save one of the many animals he wanted to keep safe.

As if it were a joke, he appeared in hell, in front of the devil himself, who was mesmerized by the sweet and nice soul from Z, who he was observing since a long time.

The devil wasn't someone evil at all, he was just doing the job he was assigned to, punish the evil and control the souls, but he needed help.

He told Z that he needed the help of a reaper, the last in charge of that duty went mad because of the nature of said job and couldn't handle it anymore.

Z denied quickly, knowing that he didn't wanted to be a murderer.

The devil explained to him that it wasn't like that at all, that souls needed a sweet and nice soul to let them know that everything will be fine, that theres no need to be scared.

Z understood quickly, accepting the job, little he knew that slowly he will become more more emotionless.

He didn't knew the most important and sad part of that job, watching all of his beloved die.
