I would like to preface this by saying I am not a pro shipper.

Being a pro shipper is not about pedophilia and incest. For many people, it truly is a coping mechanism following pasts of severe trauma. Who are you to tell these people how to live, consume media, and act on the internet? Are you a psychologist? The line delivered from Ciel in the recent chapter (169) “i am no longer lord Sirius, that is my brother”

By that line, R!Ciel mentioned that he was no longer the Blue star, but his brother. And by that means, Blavats orders which are, Protect the blue star at all costs, are now projected onto O!Ciel. And thats evident by how in 142 when Blavat calls O!Ciel Lord sirius. And it had already been shown later on with the crash. He lied to Aabberline about O!Ciels whereabouts to protect him I can prove that– 

(Hes speaking in sarcasm, otherwise, why would UNFORTUNATE ACCIDENT, be in bold?)

(Hes looking back after saying his line about court and that means something. He clearly knows where O!ciel and Sebastian are)

And now I think that because R!Ciel is going to have to be forced to go to the Hotel where his brother is working with Sebastian who are trying to get rid of the blood support. As it seems that they’re doing it one by one, the hotel arc will be the last and by then they will be forced to intervene personally by going to the hotel as they cannot afford to not be there. My claims are backed up by recent art and merch promotions :) Thanks Yana.

(And before anyone says this could just be merch, you’re possibly wrong. With all thats coming up for yana its not too far fetched to assume that these designs aren’t for the hotel. Yeah. Maybe possibly. But however, 

He never got the chance to say, whenever it seemed like he was about to (same with ciel), it was always interrupted by something else, which is entirely suspicious. 

(You could argue he was sensing a cat but its clearly obvious he was going to come to a conclusion but was thrown off guard. That butler, thrown off. Odd timing too.)

We also have Othello entertaining the idea of a demon being behind this all and its way too fishy on why Blavat has been able to see through sebastian and so accurately describe what he was, from the moment he laid eyes upon this demon.

(It takes Ciel off guard completely as shown above and makes a compelling case, we all know what hes thinking.)

LETS also discuss how blavat was in perfect condition after a violent carriage crash while others were injured extremely and a messed up carriage. He also seems completely calm for a human after ‘going through trauma’. While simultaneously making it out to be like it was NOTHING

AND NOW, to answer your question, ‘’what would Blavat be getting out of this?” And! I agree. You make an awesome case with this HOWEVER, AGAIN, I assume he's getting a good show out of it. While demons and reapers are supposed to hate each other for getting into each others work and business, Undertaker is an aforementioned “deserter” from the reaper society, but still gaining access to reaper things, such as his scythe, soul collection and manipulation. Hes stated himself that bizarre dolls need souls to exist properly with cognitive function otherwise they are to be presented as mindless beings without one, desperately searching for one. I think that to soothe that idea and desire, one needs to have a soul or replacement of some sorts. I dont think undertaker reaped Sebastian in the boat arc for no reason whatsoever (sounds dumb i know im not that confident on that last part with him reaping sebastian.). Also, as stated by Sebastian himself, the Phantomhives have most desirable soul, which even if it has been tainted by sebastian, Blavat still seems interested. Sebastian cannot bring back the dead or reverse time, however, the undertaker can. Even if he cannot get that soul back he has had to have gotten an extremely close enough replacement for it, or not the same. But aside from all that, Blavat seems like the sorts that likes to get into drama and chaos, so i assume this is all but a fun show to him.

With jane i dont really care for her too much and completely agree with you on that, thats more of a crack theory that was pointlessly added on so dont worry.

Blavat protecting O!Ciel seems to be of R!Ciel’s wish, I agree with that, as well as the servants being let go to get the fight started. With your statement about me basing this whole theory off a silly little line by R!Ciel, you are wrong, yeah it kinda pushed me to make the theory, but Its also as you mentioned, R!CIel is framing his brother by pushing that title onto him. With the intention to make his brother guilty he needs to transfer Blavat’s loyalty and devotion to O!Ciel for the point of making things harder for his twin and like he is the mastermind behind it all.  However, Blavat sees that flaw, because of the insufficient evidence around O!Ciel. No matter how much blavat will claim and point, it will make no sense, especially to abberline and randall whos known the boy for a while. But im sure they’ll be happy to do away with him with whatever chance anyway. As shown. So thus the reason Blavat lets it be, and begins to deviate from orders slightly. As he said himself, he was looking forward battling it out, but oh well, guess it cant be helped. Thats the big brain move he made and thats why i think hes going to betray r!Ciel. For the show.

And now finally with your last statement, Blavat seems to have been forced slightly into this, by contract if he is a demon, As he claimed himself, it was the light (soul) of the phantomhive boy that made him so interested and led him here. However i dont think hes really that much interested anymore due to his deviation. mostly, i think he’s here to watch all this shit go down lmao. Even if the statement below seems to be a lie, (which it is) there is some truth and foreshadowing below.

I was just about to second this but i want to add something else.

While yes, i make crack theories most of the time, especially with blavat, AND I always talk about foreshadowing, blah blah blah,, But This has been on my mind for a very long time. I mean since 2 years. I figured it out. So, fight me on this when I say this but..

We know snake is going to play an important part in this arc and eventually he's going to be met with O!Ciels lies, and probably in this case, Joker. So I want to add one more thing with foreshadowing words that ring throughout the series, always.. This is the fate that snake might face..

“Until the day, that lies become truth”

-Chapter 50

Polaris is Joker

Old theory is old, but thanks to ch169 it got more backbone!! :D

First of all, here’s a reminder as to why the star lords have way more odds to be characters we already know and who died in previous arcs: emotional impact and character development, namely for our!Ciel’s.

In fact, who cares about characters we’ve never met before, who died and who were now brought back by UT? Aside from Claudia Phantomhive’s special case (because she’s been plot-relevant since the circus arc), no reader would care this far into the story.  

Therefore, it makes more sense, plot-wise and also considering UT’s general character, for him to have brought back characters who are meant to induce even more development for our!Ciel… 

…and these are the people whose death our!Ciel feels guilty about, as ch95 showed. Real!Ciel (Sirius) is already back and UT made clear before that Vincent’s body was too damaged to become a BD, so the remaining 3 star lords are likely to be Joker, Ann and Doll imo (see the link at the top). 

Don’t forget that UT is not a villain (Yana’s own words) and also he can’t really stand the idea of Seb standing by Ciel’s side, aside from the fact that he makes a pretty good shield against other big threats in Ciel’s life (like Queen Victoria). So UT tolerates Seb’s presence, but not his goal which is to eat Ciel’s soul.

That’s why UT forcing Ciel to confront his past and the resulting deaths he faced is his way to possibly one day endanger the contract between Ciel and Seb. [x][x]

ANYWAY MOVING ON, that’s my opinion as to why these characters are being brought back by UT, no one has to agree, and now let’s look into what hints ch169 brought us to decipher Polaris’ identity.

Polaris uses those and Joker knew how to use those. Also he’s angry.

Polaris was the “butler” of a previous master

He’s not real!Ciel’s butler, but he does refer to himself as a butler because that’s who he was to his previous master.

I don’t think anyone forgot about who Baron Kelvin was, an awful and sick man who pretended to care about Joker and the rest of the circus folks, only to actually use them all for his obsession about the Phantomhive twins.

So if Polaris is Joker, then Kelvin’d be who he’d be referring to as “his previous master”. 

Agni’s death

Because Polaris is the one who killed Agni, sweet Agni but also strong Agni, who surprisingly showed a lot of difficulty against him. 

However, as @thedarkestcrow​ reminded me recently, Joker lost his two arms right before dying.

So, imagine if UT or someone else had replaced his lost arms with robotic ones in metal for example: could it be why Agni had so much trouble against him? Because metal arms could explain the “unimaginable strength”. Maybe.  

Otherwise, we know that there are scientific formula able to enhance the physical strength of humans in the story (Finny++), so the idea that a high tech lab would have that formula isn’t so far-fetched either.

TL;DR Polaris is Joker. I do still have some doubts about Vega and Canopus… 

Vega because it seems there are 2 of them (seeing the room and the way they talk), but Doll had a sleeping-alone-at-night issue so who knows if she didn’t develop some sort of alter personality post-mortem to deal with it, i mean all BDs are screwed up anyway, thanks UT

As for Ann as Canopus, the room in ch117 doesn’t suit her social status (unlike Sirius’ room for realCiel), but the bandages do imply this person died from a terrible bloody wound a.k.a possibly stabbed by Grell’s chainsaw scythe right in the guts

…but none really for Joker/Polaris.

Why Blavat is actually Vincent Phantomhive

Hi there! So for the title of this i know you must be really put off guard but trust me on this! Right, lets get into it.

So we know that Vincent died on that fateful day when the twins were ripped away from their family and we saw his body.

Sad, right?

But also, how strange is it that the undertaker mentioned that there was nothing left of him, only ash. BUT WAS IT HIS?

DUN DUN DUUUUN Its so strange! Lets think scientifically for a second,  A house burns up to 593 C (1100 F) and It takes about 760 to 1150 °C (1400 to 2100 °F) to cremate a body. Even then partial bones are left remained. But this is strange, extremely strange that only ASH and NO BONES were left. This gives the possibility that Vincent is ALIVE! 

Why did sebastian pose as O!Ciels father when he ‘died’? Sebastian has never met the dad nor know thats the same position in which he was dead. SO HOW--

I can only conclude one thing and that is, IT WASNT SEBASTIAN! It was V I N C EN T. AND THE REAL SEBASTIAN WAS IN THE GRAVE AND VINCENT SNUCK OUT.
