I’m sorry to hear you’re having a hard time right now. I don’t know if this would work or heighten your anxiety, but would using a gentle alarm every night around the time you’d be going to bed help to remind you to meditate for a bit? Or when you usually wake up for your daily affirmations? Coming from someone with anxiety and adhd I literally can’t remember to do anything unless I either write it down or have a timer set
an alarm might actually work!
i have a strong feeling that i am also ADHD (my father has it), so i feel like my memory issues can be contributed to that lol.

Rambling About Life

I’ve been wanting to journal for a bit now, but I’m so impatient when it comes to writing. My mind moves faster than my hands and it’s so agonizing having to script every letter and single word while mentally, I’m already 2 paragraphs ahead. So, I tend to keep things bottled up. But I think thats even worse.
My anxiety has been the worst it’s ever been over the past month and a half. I had a period of time where I couldn’t leave my bedroom without crying and having meltdowns. My brain wouldn’t shut off long enough to process a single thought, which sent me into emotional overdrive. I changed meds and I’m feeling a little better, but my hypochondria is relentless. For now, my focus is on my head. My brain. I’ve convinced myself that something is seriously wrong in there and that I’m doomed to die at any moment now. Realistically, I know that’s not true. But there’s always the, “Well, what if?” to worry about. I constantly feel like I’m drowning in my thoughts.
I’ve been trying meditation and daily affirmations, but I forget to do them a lot. I usually don’t remember until it’s too late, like now. At 6am. The damn birds are singing, I’m exhausted, and now’s the time my brain decides to remember. It’s incredibly frustrating. But, I’m still choosing healthier coping mechanisms, which is good I suppose.
I just want to feel normal again. I want to wake up and not be overwhelmed with anxiety and dread. I want to wake up before 4-6pm everyday. I know that one day I’ll be able to, but gosh, it’s so hard waiting. I want to see results now. My impatience truly will be the death of me.

☾ Rose Salt ☽
One of my personal favorite things to make, Rose Salt has a variety of uses. Whether you use it as a scrub in the shower to cleanse yourself and your energies, as a relaxing soak in a warm bath to relax in, or sprinkle it in doorways and on windowsills as a form of protection, it’s multipurpose and very easy to make! What You’ll Need: - Dried Roses - Salt - A Vessel With a Lid to Keep It In - A Mortar & Pestle Optional: - Rose Essential Oil Steps:
Take the petals and buds of your Roses, save the stems and thorns for other spells, and grind them finely with your Mortar & Pestle.
Add Salt.
Mix both well until they are combined well.
Add the mixture into the vessel you chose.
Add the essential oil, seal the vessel, and gently shake to combine everything together more easily.
One of the many properties of Roses is Protection as is with Salt so combining the two gives you a simple, fragrant protective material to keep around your home.
