Once the bathroom door shuts softly, you find yourself leaning against it, bringing a hand up to rest over your heart. You suppose you should be used to the gentle rhythm by now, you were always so at ease in his presence. He was a kind and gentle man, with a charming smile, and sensible mind. 

Sen Kaibara was everything anyone could ever want--the perfect gentleman, in every sense of the word. He never made you wait, always prompt and punctual. He got along well with your friends and family, you’ve received plenty of compliments and congratulations on finding such a good man.

After moving in together, he often helped with the chores; the cooking and cleaning never fell on your shoulders alone. The work was always equal, and he always knew when you were exhausted, so he’d always go the extra mile and force you to rest instead of having to worry about dishes, or laundry. 

He made sure to put you first. 

Date nights were always fun. Sen would constantly photograph anything and everything; you have a whole wall at apartment dedicated to his work--pictures of sceneries, and you both enjoying them.

He knew you were capable, yet he still wanted to show you that you were worth being waited on. He never let you touch a door handle, making sure to open everything for you, leading you through with a hand against the small of your back--it’s enough to make any girl swoon.  

You’re comfortable with him, your times spent together are enjoyable and pleasant. 

Sen’s very handsome as well--dark hair falling perfectly over deep, onyx eyes, a chiseled face, and well kept figure. Tall, dark, and handsome. A refined man with the world at his feet, and it still was shocking to know someone like him could ever love someone like you. 

Yet when you stare at the diamond ring on your finger, you feel nothing short of normalcy. 

Was it wrong to question the man who has given you everything? How could you even doubt the love between the both of you--because there certainly was love, but what kind?

Was it the right one? You were fond of him, but were you crazy about him? Did that even matter?

A moment such as a proposal should include tears of joy, excited shouts, blissed laughter, and a thousand thoughts of a crazy life together--euphoric at the mere thought of your soon to be husband. 

You weren’t just supposed to smile fondly, pressing a few kisses against one another before going on with your night. You’re once again drawn to the way your heart isn’t beating fast, the way that it doesn’t skip a beat. How your mind automatically began to picture the pains of wedding plans and not the magic that was supposed to await after.

There was no rush, no lust, no passion.

Not like with him…

Bakugou Katsuki was the complete opposite of your fiancé. 

He was rude, disagreeable, hostile, ill-tempered, and always looking for a fight. He didn’t care who he argued with, who he fought with, as long as he came out on top--which, he always did. He was rugged, and had a one track mind, not letting anyone or anything get in his way. When you were with him, tensions were always high. 

Your feelings had been everywhere, an emotional roller-coaster that seemed to be stuck on never-ending loops. Highs and lows circled back over and over, no sign of ending, but the rush of emotions that had came with it were unlike any other.

The love you had shared was a burning match, the heat intense and fierce, the flames bright and alive as they danced around together.

Maybe that’s why it burned out so quickly--it was too harsh, too much.

Even so, every emotion you felt with him is still imprinted into your heart.

You may have ran out into the freezing rain, but he chased after you, his searing kisses had warmed you up. You may have strained your voice, throat raw after hours of yelling, but he had soothed it with tea he knew how to make just right. You may have grabbed onto one another, but the only bruises you shared were ones made in the bedroom; spending hours alone together, tangled in sheets as you conveyed everything that you couldn’t speak into words. 

Verbal apologizes were few and far in-between, but the actions weren’t--a kiss here, a hug there, the way he’d run his hand along your cheek. 

The little things had been the most important to you. There were constant smiles, and even more frowns, but you were happy. You felt alive.

Your heart had always ran wild with him, so much so you always wondered if it would burst from your chest if you weren’t careful. The rush of being with him was addicting--you never wanted the feeling to go away.

The love between you both outshone the brightest of stars; it was you and him against the world.

But somehow, the world had won. 

You’re heart stopped beating, breaking instead. The days turned dull, and no longer was the world as bright or lively as it had been.

That’s when you met Sen--he had pulled you out of that darkness and brought a light back into your life. Even if it wasn’t as bright as it used to be.

But you were… happy. content. 

You didn’t need a bonfire, the candle light was enough. 

You look in the mirror, smile, and walk back out to the comfort of your fiancé. Sen smiles, pulling you close as you lie in each other's arms. Leaning your head against his chest, you feel the steady beating of his heart.

It matches yours.

I'm planning on rewriting the series just a tad, keeping the main focus just changing somethings up! I have the first and second chapter rewritten, but I want to get all the chapters done first before I post it, that way you guys will have an actual schedule to look forward too!!

Hey y'all, long time no see😰😳

I haven't been active(whats new 😩😩) but for good reason!

I decided I'm going to take my time and rewrite my MHA trio x reader!

Theres a few reasons for this;

1) when I go back and reread some of the first few chapters, I cringe😩 I wrote them so fast and at like 3am and there's 1848028482 mistakes and misspellings(and sure I know plenty of my work isn't edited) but I know I can do better than that

2) the original plot of the story is a lot darker than I wrote it as. Right now reader is a happy go lucky girl with some issues. Thats not how I really wanted her to be--shes too bubbly for the past I wanted her to have.

She doesn't have that dark of a past, nothing pertaining to villains, since she's still going to be the daughter of a pro hero.

When I was writing chapter 22 I did a flashback scene, even more in depth and longer than in chapter 21, and based on what her past entailed(along with her dads personality) I just made her too outlandish for someone in her situation.

3) I am soooooo inconsistent with my updates and writing in general, and I want to change that. Work, school, and life in general backtracks my writing but I still want to get better than posting once a month lol.

So I have a little over 20 chapters made, I am going to rewrite them all, then at least for a few months ill have a consistent schedule of posting every friday. It'll be better for both you guys and myself.

So with that being said, I am going to work on little projects in between, but my main focus is going to be rewriting the story. I still will not be accepting any requests, and I think I have 2 more matchups that I still need to finish? Jeez I'm so sorry I'm terrible 😭😩

How the new story will work!!

I am not going to edit the past, original chapters. With the way Tumblr works, even if I edit them and reblog, its a mess and it may not get onto yalls home pages. I'll keep the old naster/old chapters, yet mark it as OLD.

I'm going to be creating a new masterlist and new posts for the revised story. I'll still have a taglist and such for those who want it, yet I won't be working on the older version, just the newer one.

This way for anyone who wants to go back and reread it, or even compare, both will be there(:

Okay, this boy thinks you’re stunning overall, a 10/10. He also is just really in love with your hair. I’m imagining you color your hair often, and he’d always be so excited to see what it’ll look like this time around. Even if you redyed it the same color, just touching up roots or fixing the vibrancy to it, he’ll still gush about it.

Also, you can’t tell me that Denki would not be the coolest guy to go on a date with--you’d never have a bad time, and I feel like even if you’re just sitting at home it’ll still be the best night ever. He would love reading tarot cards, he’d totally butcher meanings and not understand and make up crazy scenarios based on the little knowledge he does have, but he wouldn’t make fun of you or be disrespectful--baby boy is just a little slow on the uptake, but with your help, he’ll understand it soon enough. 

While he does have his wild side, I bet the times he loves the most is when you both are just sitting together with you on a calm night, cuddled under a blanket, and watching the stars. He’d make up these grand stories about every constellation he can see. You laugh and try to correct him if he has it way off, and he just either smiles and tells says no while he continues with the most ridiculous story you’ve ever heard, or he just gives you this sappy, lovestruck look and asks for you tell him all about it because he wants to hear you gush. He’s such a simp for you and we stan him for it.

Okay here me out, you both would really hit it off together--after a while.

So you both are like, the opposite sides of the same coin basically, and I feel like it’d take some time for you both to actually get along and get along well. You at first tease him so much and he bites back and hell boils over and it’s a mess. 

Enemies to lovers? 

You like to sleep in, this man wants to wake up at the crack of dawn. You’re sarcastic and make tons of jokes, he’s blunt and doesn’t have time for fun(I love him but please someone remove that stick from his ass PLEASE-) Some black and white, yin and yang, bs right here.

But there’s going to be that mutual thing or two that actually gets him to view you as more than just an extra. Maybe it’s the way you prefer to stick by the walls during a crowded event, or tend to stay to yourself when the rest of the class is being loud and crazy. Yes, Katsuki himself is a loud and annoying guy, but only when he feels like he’s being provoked and pushed into a corner. Otherwise, he’s going to be the person who’s next to you on the wall or the guy who sits back with narrowed eyes as the class continues on without him. You’ll both take notice of each other more because of this. 

I feel like once you guys develop that relationship, everything becomes easier. He deals with Kaminari and Kirishima every day(not to mention all of class 1-A, besides Deku, does not give a flying fuck about how ‘scary’ he is, they’ll call him out and tease him so) and while yea, you may throw in your occasional comment here and there(you may at times fucking obliterate him, please knock him down a peg), he’ll most likely take comfort in your presence. Because hey, if Denki makes a dumb joke about him, instead of having to yell at him for it, you bite back with your own funny comment, and everyone isn’t laughing at him anymore--he won’t admit it but he appreciates it. 

He thinks you’re really pretty(us latinas are gorgeous bb) and once he’s comfortable I have a gut feeling his number one thing to do when you guys are in private together is play with your hair. It might get tangled in his fingers and he’d threaten to burn it off but he never will. 

You both are the same when it comes to PDA too, so that’ll never really be an issue. Although he may be a little too recluse and not even want to hold hands, yet the more comfortable he gets the better it’ll be. Don’t expect a kiss in public though because he’ll turn red and probably ignore you for a few hours till he calms down. In private though, he’d be way more open to cuddles and things he normally wouldn’t be--just because it’s you. 

Stay at home dates are nice because it makes him feel like he can truly be himself around you. Maybe he’ll cook something for the both of you, some background music of your choice, or even a movie or anime series you want to watch--Katsuki would be the type to say ‘anime? You like this crap’ then he’s 2 series in screaming at the cliffhanger because he needs to know what’s going to happen next. 

All in all, while you’re opposites, you balance each other out. You both understand each other and you make a great team.
