i will forever gripe and complain about the fact that age regression has no real tag on ao3 and is forced to either be lumped in with de-aging fics or nsap

i would edit the tags on every agere fic i’ve posted and encourage others to do the same if we could all agree on a tag that wouldn’t get wrangled under de-aging

Periodic Regressor Flag

I haven't seen anyone else coin this term and I really wanted one because I often experience my regression like it.

Basically, a periodic regressor goes through phases of barely regressing (or even not at all) and then also phases of almost always regressed (or even constantly). It doesn't matter how much you're regressed so you don't need to be fully regressed, as long as you're regressed at all and it comes in a phase. It's mostly made for age regressors but I don't mind if pet regressors wanna use it!!

The greys represents big phases while the primary represents regressed phases!! Idk, grey is such an adult colour in my mind. And I associate primary colours with childhood n didn't wanna make a pastel flag.

4. i do not! i would like one but i'm very nervous and anxious when regressed so it's hard connecting with one

no clue how long this has been here but messing is a thing in some fics where diaper wearers use the diaper as intended and i just don't personally like writing about it! the most i'll do is mention wetting a diaper after a nightmare or something like that but i don't even go into detail for that
