Michael and Lucifer, when they started their war, first thing a giant EMP or something like it went off over North America. Fried every bit of technology. Cell phones. Power plants. For the first few days we, we banded together. Thought hey, someone will save us. No one ever did. When the food ran out people got mean. Mobs started forming. Stealing whatever they could get their hands on. Lot of people died. Cara died.

Yockey is doing and excellent job with writing Charlie. There’s no replacing our beloved Charlie, right? If they’d made AU Charlie like old Charlie, it would have been piss-poor and made us all bitter that she’s our beloved girl without the good memories of Sam and Dean.

So, they turned her around into a heartbroken and grizzled warrior badass. And she is equally as awesome in different ways, and that’s amazing. Really good writing on their part.

But also, no. Charlie shouldn’t have died in the first place. My only hope now is that they do something amazing with this one to honor her memory. Plus more Felicia Day.
