I finished my bachelor's!! That means I finally have time for languages again ^^ But because I've been so busy I'm not going to push myself and I've only set myself 3 goals.

At the moment I'm studying for the entry exam of the Master programme that I want to do. After handing in my thesis I've been studying a little bit every day, but today has been one of the first days that I've felt focussed for a long time and didn't really feel so much like I had to force myself to study. I think it mostly had to do with allowing myself the whole weekend to just do what I feel like instead of doing at least one thing each day that is productive. It's definitely good for me to have a rhythm to stay on track, but I also need to remind myself often to schedule in actual days off when I can just do whatever.

Omg I asked one of my professors if he would write a recommendation letter for me and he did and I just received it and it’s so positive??? Like obviously I thought he would write a good letter, otherwise I wouldn’t have asked him, but he is perhaps the most critical teacher I have ever had and he just said that I rank among the top of his students and that he’d expect me to also rank top during my masters??? I don’t know, it just means so much more coming from him....

And now I’m just thinking about that high school teacher who didn’t think I was smart enough to go to university and this just feels like the best comeback

I spent hours organising and deleting files on my laptop in the hope that it'll be less slow. I was reminded of how many videos I have of so many random things. Long before I ever started YouTube I used to film lots of gatherings with friends and family. My family sometimes thought it was weird that I would be filming certain moments, but now it's honestly so nice just looking back at us decorating the Christmas tree or having dinner with my grandpa who passed away last year. My favourite videos are probably the ones where I force my brother to participate in an 'interview' :')

I really need to start filming more every day moments again! And hopefully this summer I can finally edit some old videos so that I can make some DVDs as Sinterklaas presents or something.

Since I'm waiting for some last feedback before I hand in the final version of my thesis I haven't been studying. I have been productive in other ways though! Yesterday I spend almost the whole day outside and it was just so nice... I went to get some straw and put it underneath our strawberry plants and I've also been reading in the garden. Today I've been working on a collage type thingy for a friend's wedding. I can't believe my friends are starting to get married!
